Municipio saludable como polo de desarrollo local "diagnóstico situación láctea Macheta"

Este proyecto hace parte de un convenio entre la Gobernación de Cundinamarca y la Universidad del Rosario para desarrollar el proyecto Municipio Saludable como Polo de Desarrollo Local en tres municipios de Cundinamarca: Machetá, Sesquilé y Mesitas de El Colegio. Dicho programa tiene cuatro ejes, de los cuales la Facultad de Administración desarrolla el primer eje que se relaciona con la Generación de empleo e Ingresos. La investigación, objeto de estudio se llevó a cabo en el municipio de Machetá, donde se trabajó el tema lácteo con pequeños productores y se desarrolló el módulo de marco lógico, en el que se llevaron a cabo las siguientes actividades: a) Contacto con la comunidad, visitas periódicas al Municipio. b) Elaboración y aplicación de encuestas a funcionarios de la Alcaldía, vendedores de plaza y productores. c) Procesamiento y análisis de resultados. d) Construcción de árbol de problemas con la comunidad, e) Construcción de árbol de objetivos. f) Socialización con la comunidad. g) Elaboración de estrategias. h) Conclusiones y recomendaciones. Para mejorar las condiciones de vida de los pequeños productores de leche se recomienda la organización de una cooperativa u otro tipo de asociación que les permita ofertar un producto con cantidades, con la calidad que requieren las empresas procesadoras o entrar en un proceso mas elaborado que implica el montaje de un tanque de enfriamiento con capacidad mínima de 3.000 litros/diarios y /o procesar la leche para producir quesos y otros productos derivados de leche. Obtener esto, estabilizaría precios, ingresos y les daría poder de negociación que es algo con lo que no cuentan actualmente los pequeños productores.

Alternativas para el desarrollo turístico en Sesquilé

El turismo es una actividad económica esencial para el desarrollo del país al igual que el de las diferentes entidades territoriales, regiones, provincias y a su vez cumple una función social. La actividad turística es responsabilidad de los diferentes niveles del Estado en sus áreas de competencia y es desarrollada por las empresas privadas y estatales. Este trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de hacer una propuesta desde lo académico al Municipio de Sesquilé (Cundinamarca), en donde se identificaron alternativas de posible potencial en los factores productivos para la generación de empleo, en relación al sector del turismo en el municipio. Para el desarrollo del mismo, se utilizó la metodología de la Matriz de Marco Lógico (MML) por medio de visitas de campo en el Municipio, en donde se identificaron los problemas que se presentan en relación al desarrollo de actividades turísticas, con los cuales se plantearon objetivos e identificaron las alternativas de potencial turístico presentadas en este trabajo.

Dynamic Document Generation from Semantic Web Data

This talk will present an overview of the ongoing ERCIM project SMARTDOCS (SeMAntically-cReaTed DOCuments) which aims at automatically generating webpages from RDF data. It will particularly focus on the current issues and the investigated solutions in the different modules of the project, which are related to document planning, natural language generation and multimedia perspectives. The second part of the talk will be dedicated to the KODA annotation system, which is a knowledge-base-agnostic annotator designed to provide the RDF annotations required in the document generation process.

Title: Data-Driven Text Generation using Neural Networks Speaker: Pavlos Vougiouklis, University of Southampton Abstract: Recent work on neural networks shows their great potential at tackling a wide variety of Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. This talk will focus on the Natural Language Generation (NLG) problem and, more specifically, on the extend to which neural network language models could be employed for context-sensitive and data-driven text generation. In addition, a neural network architecture for response generation in social media along with the training methods that enable it to capture contextual information and effectively participate in public conversations will be discussed. Speaker Bio: Pavlos Vougiouklis obtained his 5-year Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013. He was awarded an MSc degree in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton in 2014. In 2015, he joined the Web and Internet Science (WAIS) research group of the University of Southampton and he is currently working towards the acquisition of his PhD degree in the field of Neural Network Approaches for Natural Language Processing. But then you discover that you've possibly been eating horse-meat, and the importance of provenance becomes almost palpable. Having accepted that we should be creating provenance-enabled systems, the challenge of then communicating that provenance to casual users is not trivial: users should not have to have a detailed working knowledge of your system, and they certainly shouldn't be expected to understand the data model. So how, then, do you give users an insight into the provenance, without having to build a bespoke system for each and every different provenance installation? Thanatos empresarial tiene el propósito de estudiar aquellas empresas que han tenido que liquidar y detener operaciones. Siendo así, este trabajo de investigación va a tener un enfoque con miras a la muerte empresarial. Se entiende muerte empresarial cuando una empresa entra en estado de liquidación. Para Hugo Alberto Rivera la definición de estado thanático es dada por Vélez, Restrepo, Garzón y Méndez, (2005). Dicho estado se aplica a una empresa que carece de desempeños eficientes en su gestión, que falla por la coherencia en su acción, que presenta estados de morbidez que dificultan su crecimiento rentable.” (Rivera 2012)

New Generation Antidepressants in Painful Diabetic Neuropathy

The incidence of diabetic neuropathy increases with the duration of diabetes and the degree of hyperglycaemia. Pain is one of the most common and incapacitating symptoms of diabetic neuropathy and its pharmacological control is complex. The effectiveness of antidepressive agents has been described in different types of neuropathic pain, but their effectiveness, when used as analgesics in painful diabetic neuropathy, still remains controversial. Objective: To review the possible role of new-generation antidepressive agents in the treatment of pain in diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This work has thus consisted of a meta-analysis for determining which antidepressive agent had the best analgesic potential in managing pain in patients suffering from painful diabetic neuropathy. Methods: This search covered the Cochrane, MEDLINE, EMBASE and LILACS databases, between January 2000 and August 2007. The following information was obtained from each article: criteria for diagnosing diabetic neuropathy, patients' age average, antidepressant drug received and dose, sample size, duration of the disease and treatment follow-up, outcome measurement, evaluation of pain and rescue medication. Results: A combined RR: 1.67 (95% CI 1.38 - 2.02) was obtained; this result indicated that the antidepressive agent duloxetine, was effective for controlling pain in diabetic neuropathy. The corresponding NNT for Duloxetine was established, according to our interests; NNT = 6 (95% CI 5- 8) for achieving greater than 50% analgesia in patients suffering from painful diabetic neuropathy. Discussion: Antidepressive agents are frequently employed in the specific case of diabetic neuropathy; their analgesic benefit has been demonstrated.

Hoy en día la situación del mercado laboral es preocupante y se ha perdido empleo en casi todos los sectores productivos, el índice de desempleo tiende a la alza cada año y ante la falta de oportunidades miles de jóvenes se han desanimado, abandonando el mercado laboral. Por ello, la sociedad actual en el que vivimos demanda emprendedores que realicen proyectos de empresas exitosas y contribuyan a la generación de empleo e innovación. Dada la situación anteriormente descrita, se ha decidido investigar que la experiencia educativa en emprendimiento de los estudiantes de último año de Administración de Empresas. Igualmente, buscamos identificar las actitudes y creencias de los estudiantes universitarios hacia la creación de empresas y hacia el empresario en la universidad de Granada en España y la universidad del Rosario en Colombia.
