With light illumination from an Ar ion laser, the photoinduced changes in vacuum evaporated amorphous GeSe2 films; were investigated with the X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared absorption (IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmitting electron microscope (TEM) and transmittance spectra analysis. It was observed that the optical transmittance edges of films shifted to shorter wavelength according to annealing and light illumination and the shift in well-annealed films could be recovered by annealing at 200 degrees C for 1 h in Ar air. The magnitude of shift increased with the increase of the intensity of illumination light and the illumination time. By sides, photoinduced crystallization was also observed in the exposed regions of GeSe2 films and more of it was observed with stronger intensity of illumination light.

介绍了一种基于纳米粉末真空烧结技术的新型固体激光材料——Yb:Y2O3多晶陶瓷的制备工艺、物理化学特性、能级结构和光谱特性,并与Yb:YAG单晶进行了对比.采用紧凑型有源镜激光器(CAMIL)的抽运方式,验证了Yb:Y2O3透明陶瓷的激光输出性能.在35W的最大抽运功率下,得到波长1078nm,功率10.5w的连续激光输出,斜率效率达到37.5%.实验中还观察到激光输出波长随抽运功率增加而红移以及随输出耦合镜变化而漂移的现象.Yb:Y2O3多晶陶瓷是一种理想的激光材料,不仅具有与Yb:YAG单晶同样优秀的

abstract {Silica glass is an attractive host matrix for the emission ions of rare earth and transition metal ions because it has small thermal expansion coefficient, strong thermal resistance, large fracture strength and good chemical durability and so on. However, a major obstacle to using it as the host matrix is a phenomenon of concentration quenching. In this paper, we introduces a novel method to restrain the concentration quenching by using a porous glass with SiO2 content > 95% (in mass) and prepare intense fluorescence high-SiO2 glasses and high-SiO2 laser glass. The porous glass with high-SiO2 content was impregnated with rare-earth and transition metal ions, and consequently sintered into a compact non-porous glass in reduction or oxidization atmospheres. Various intense fluorescence glasses with high emission yields, a vacuum ultraviolet-excited intensely luminescent glass, high silica glass containing high concentration of Er3+ ion, ultrabroad infrared luminescent Bi-doped high silica glass and Nd3+-doped silica microchip laser glass were obtained by this method. The porous glass is also favorable for co-impregnating multi-active-ions. It can bring effective energy transferring between various active ions in the glass and increases luminescent intensity and extend range of excitation spectrum. The luminescent active ions-doped high-SiO2 glasses are potential host materials for high power solid-state lasers and new transparent fluorescence materials.}

采用石墨电阻加热的温梯法生长了V:YAG晶体,晶体的不同部位呈现两种不同的颜色:浅绿色和黄褐色.通过对比分析不同颜色V:YAG晶体的室温吸收光谱,推断出石墨发热体高温下扩散出来的C可以起到还原作用,提高晶体中V^3+tetra离子的浓度,同时诱导了F心的形成.在1300℃下,对不同颜色的V:YAG晶体进行真空退火处理,发现处于八面体格位中的V^3+离子在热激发作用下与近邻的四面体格位Al^3+离子存在置换反应,由此产生一定浓度的四面体格位V^3+离子.同时,F心在退火过程中被完全消除,释放出来的自由电子被

A V:YAG single crystal was grown by the temperature gradient technique (TGT) with graphite-heating elements. The as-grown crystal has different colorations of light green and yellow brown in different parts. Distribution of vanadium in three samples with different colorations was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. From the absorption spectrum of the yellow-brown part with peaks at 370, 820 and 1320nm, we can deduce that the reducing atmosphere of carbon diffused from the heating elements can increase the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions and induce F color centers. All three samples exhibited light-green color after annealing in vacuum or H-2 atmospheres. In the vacuum annealing process, the V3+ ions in tetrahedral positions were enhanced through two methods: one method is the exchanging of octahedral V3+ and tetrahedral Al3+ ions in neighboring sites under thermal excitation, the other is that F color centers were thoroughly eliminated and the escaped free electrons could be captured by V ions with higher valance states to further improve the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions. Besides the two mechanisms, the H-2 annealing process greatly improved the V-tetra(3+) ions through the reduction effect of H-2. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

由溶胶一凝胶/燃烧合成结合法合成了Nd:YAG(掺钕钇铝石榴石,neodymium—doped yttrium aluminium garnet)粉体,用真空烧结法制备了Nd:YAG透明陶瓷。研究了显微结构随烧结温度和保温时间的变化,并对透明陶瓷的晶界结构和成分分布进行了表征。随着烧结温度的提高和保温时间的延长,Nd:YAG陶瓷的密度增大,晶形发育完整,透过率提高。晶粒内部和晶界的化学组成基本相同。所制备的Nd:YAG透明陶瓷在激光工作波长1064nm的透过率达到75%。

Transparent polycrystalline Nd:YAG ceramics were fabricated by solid-state reactive sintering a mixture of commercial Al2O3,Y2O3, and Nd2O3 powders. The powders were mixed in ethanol and doped with 0.5 wt% tetraethoxysilane, dried, and pressed. Pressed samples were sintered at 1750 degrees C in vacuum. Transparent fully dense samples with average grain sizes of 10 mu m were obtained. The 1 at.% Nd:YAG ceramic was used to research passively Q-switched laser output with a Cr4+:YAG crystal as a saturable absorber. An average output power of 94 mW with a pulse width of 50 ns was obtained when the incident pump power was 750 mW. The slope efficiency was 13%. The pulse energy is 5 mu J, and the peak power is about 100 W.

Transparent polycrystalline Yb:YAG ceramics were fabricated by solid-state reactive sintering a mixture of commercial Al2O3, Y2O3, and Yb2O3 powders. The powders were mixed in ethanol and doped with 0.5 wt% tetraethoxysilane, dried, and pressed. Pressed samples were sintered at 1730 degrees C in vacuum. Transparent fully dense samples with grain sizes of several micrometers were obtained. The phase from 1500 degrees to 1700 degrees C was important for the grain growth, in which the grains grew quickly and a mass of pores were eliminated from the body of the sample. Annealing was an important step to remove the vacancies of oxygen and transform Yb2+ to Yb3+. The 1 at.% Yb:YAG ceramic sample was pumped by a diode laser to study the laser properties. The maximum output power of 1.02 W was obtained with a slope efficiency of 25% at 1030 nm. The size of the lasering sample was 4 mm x 4 mm x 3 mm.

A crescente demanda por lubrificantes obtidos a partir de fontes renováveis vem incentivando a pesquisa por alternativas sustentáveis. O objetivo principal deste trabalho foi investigar a síntese de sebacato de dioctila a partir da reação de esterificação entre o ácido sebácico e o 1-octanol empregando biocatalisadores e catalisador químico convencional (ácido sulfúrico). Alguns parâmetros reacionais foram estudados: tipo de lipase comercial imobilizada (Novozym 435, Lipozyme RM IM e Lipozyme TL IM), temperatura, razão molar ácido/álcool, concentração de lipase, métodos de remoção da água do meio reacional. A reutilização da lipase Novozym 435 também foi avaliada. A conversão da reação foi determinada por cromatografia em fase gasosa. A lipase Novozym 435 apresentou os melhores resultados: 100% de conversão de ácido sebácico quando foi empregada razão molar ácido:álcool de 1:5 e 5% m/m de lipase, após 150 minutos de reação a 100C. O emprego de peneira molecular e vácuo não aumentou a conversão do ácido sebácico. O produto final foi caracterizado com relação à viscosidade, ao índice de viscosidade, ao ponto de fulgor, ao ponto de fluidez e ao índice de neutralização, e apresentou comportamento semelhante a um óleo naftênico

Using the stratified gas flow model for calculating the conductance of long tubes with constant cross section, an analytical expression for calculating the conductance of along tube with equilateral triangle cross section has been derived. The formula given is applicable to the full pressure range. A minimum in the conductance in the intermediate flow state is shown. 2002 American vacuum Society.

ZrO2, films were deposited by electron-beam evaporation with the oxygen partial pressure varying from 3 X 10(-3) Pa to I I X 10(-3) Pa. The phase structure of the samples was characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD). The thermal absorption of the films was measured by the surface thermal lensing technique. A spectrophotometer was employed to measure the refractive indices of the samples. The laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) was assessed using a 1064, nm Nd: yttritium-aluminium-garnet pulsed laser at pulse width of 12 ns. The influence of oxygen partial pressure on the microstructure and LIDT of ZrO2 films was investigated. XRD data revealed that the films changed from polycrystalline to amorphous as the oxygen partial pressure increased. The variation of refractive index at 550 nm wavelength indicated that the packing density of the films decreased gradually with increasing oxygen partial pressure. The absorptance of the samples decreased monotonically from 125.2 to 84.5 ppm with increasing oxygen partial pressure. The damage threshold, values increased from 18.5 to 26.7 J/cm(2) for oxygen partial pressures varying from 3 X 10(-3) Pa to 9 X 10(-3) Pa, but decreased to 17.3 J/cm(2) in the case of I I X 10(-3) Pa. 应用于啁啾脉冲放大技术中的脉宽压缩光栅是基于多层膜作为基底,利用全息干涉技术和离子束技术刻蚀而成。脉宽压缩光栅的衍射效率和抗激光损伤阈值一方面依赖于光栅结构的设计,另一方面很大程度上取决于作为基底的多层膜的设计。给出了以413.1nm作为写入波长,1053nm作为使用波长的多层介质光栅膜的设计.样品在ZZS-800F、型真空镀膜机上采用电子束蒸发方式沉积而成,并给出了膜系结构对光学性能影响因素的详细分析,结果表明膜系H3L(H2L)^9H0.5L2.03H满足光栅膜的指标。给出了样品光学特性测试,其使用波
