Proposta de criação de um Parque Natural Municipal no entorno no bairro Mãe Preta em Rio Claro - SP

This study aims to identify the environmental and social elements that should underpin the creation of a Municipal Natural Park in accordance with Law 9985/2000, establishing the SISTEMA NACIONAL DE UNIDADES DE CONSERVAÇÃO ( SNUC ) . The northeast sector of the city of Rio Claro - SP , envolving, among others , the neighborhood Mãe Preta, the most significant of the site is consolidated as an area of significant environmental value for the consolidation of a conservation area . The proposed establishment of this unit has been discussed since the beginning of this year by Secretaria Municipal de Planejamento, Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente de Rio Claro- SP (SEPLADEMA ) and meets the Municipal Director Plan that provides for the establishment of several protected areas in the City . The study area suffers severe pressure due to peripheral urbanization and characterized environmental fragility according to numerous studies by researchers at UNESP, Rio Claro - SP and research in situ. Stand out in soils susceptible to sheet erosion area, the presence of a large proportion of gully area subject to flooding and significant breeding capitation water for public supply

Estudo sobre depósitos tecnogênicos no entorno da represa da Sabesp em Presidente Prudente-SP

The human being has a dependency with the natural environment, since it is from withdrawing resources from it is essential for their survival. But this relationship appears to be unbalanced from the moment that society emerges and changes the substrate in which land is located. In this context the study about the formation of technogenic deposits, has assisted in the preparation of environmental diagnoses in an area very changed by society. Technogenic deposits are sedimentary deposits originated by human activities in the environment, with special emphasis in this work in the fluvial plains. Their classification depends on both the manufactured materials found in its layers, and the processes that led to its formation. Thus, the main objective was to understand the formation history of technogenic deposits in the fluvial plains of the Santo Anastacio river and streams of Cedro and Cedrinho surrounding the dam of SABESP (Basic Sanitation Company of São Paulo) in Presidente Prudente-SP. The experimental proceedings are based mainly on realization of fieldwork to characterization study area, collection of technogenic materials in PVC´s (polyvinyl chloride) tube, and analysis of laboratory through of particle size analysis (EMBRAPA, 1997) of the technogenics layers... Las Bibliotecas Universitarias en un entorno de enseñanza virtual

Las bibliotecas universitarias, en los inicios del siglo XXI, se están enfrentado a un nuevo modelo de enseñanza, donde el entorno virtual es fundamental. Dichas bibliotecas, en sus funciones como CRAI, se verán en el reto de adaptar sus colecciones y servicios a las plataformas de enseñanza, apoyar al profesorado en la elaboración de productos multimedia y diseñar una política de alfabetización de información. La alfabetización informacional se ha convertido en un eje fundamental en el nuevo modelo de enseñanza definido por el Espacio Europeo de Enseñanza Superior, por lo que una parte importante de nuestros esfuerzos deben dirigirse hacia su integración en la nueva propuesta educativa.
