El silencio como recurso del individuo en Thoreau y Nietzsche

El artículo aborda la reivindicación del silencio en las filosofías de Thoreau y Nietzsche como recurso crítico contra la falta de autenticidad que amenaza al individuo de las sociedades modernas. El trasfondo que confiere significado a la comparación es la voluntad convergente de impugnar, a uno y otro lado del Atlántico, el concepto ilustrado de ciudadanía. Para ello, ambos autores parten de la constatación de las deficiencias expresivas —tanto epistemológicas como, fundamentalmente, éticas— del lenguaje que da voz a la vida pública. Sus respectivos planteamientos les llevarán a una comprensión excéntrica de la filosofía como forma de vida, aunque desembocarán en dos sensibilidades morales diferentes.

O Cinema de Animação como Crítica Social: Curta-metragem sobre a dependência das redes sociais

Desde a sua origem que a Animação é utilizada como um meio de espelhar a sociedade através de técnicas e expressões que o cinema tradicional não permite. Ao incorporar a sátira na sua representação social e política está a expor uma crítica a características negativas com o intuito de alterar percepções e estereótipos, motivando a sua vulgarização ou correção. O projeto #LINGO consiste na realização de uma curta-metragem de animação com recurso à sátira, pretendendo incidir sobre um dos problemas em expansão no século XXI, a dependência nos dispositivos digitais e redes sociais.

Construções geométricas como recurso pedagógico no ensino médio

This work aims to provide high school students an development in his mathematical and geometrical knowledge, through the use of Geometric Constructions as a teaching resource in Mathematics classes. First a literature search to understand how it emerged and evolved the field of geometry was carried out and the Geometric Constructions. The ways in which the teaching of geometry happened in our country, also were studied some theories related to learning and in particular the Van Hiele theory which deals with the geometric learning also through the literature search were diagnosed. Two forms of the Geometric Constructions approach are analyzed in class: through the design of hand tools - ruler and compass - and through the computational tool - geometric software - being that we chose to approach using the ruler and compass instruments. It is proposed a workshop with nine Geometric Construction activities which was applied with a group of 3rd year of high school, the Escola de Educac¸ ˜ao B´asica Professor Anacleto Damiani in the city of Abelardo Luz, Santa Catarina. Each workshop activity includes the following topics: Activity Goals, Activity Sheet, Steps of Construction Activity Background and activity of the solution. After application of the workshop, the data were analyzed through content analysis according to three categories: Drawing Instruments, angles and their implications and Parallel and its Implications. Was observed that most of the students managed to achieve the research objectives, and had an development in their mathematical and geometrical knowledge, which can be perceived through the analysis of questionnaires administered to students, audio recordings, observations made during the workshop and especially through the improvement of the students in the development of the proposed activities.

Metodologia de ensino do conceito de função exponencial à luz da teoria das situações didáticas

This essay presents a proposal on methodology over the mathematical object Exponential Function which enables the development of interpretative and creative skills with potential meaning to the students starting from a didactic sequence structured on the light of The Theory of Didactic Situations from Guy Brousseau and, from the Records of Semiotic Representation of Duval, providing interactions among the students, the teacher and the environment of cooperative learning where the students feel free to express their own ideas as well as to suggest their own approaches. The methodology presented has been developed according to the students first knowledge, valuing their different ways of registering, which have such an important role during the teaching and learning processes. The proposal has been applied to the students from the first year of high school of Colégio Estadual José de Anchieta Ensino Fundamental e Médio, located in a town called Dois Vizinhos –Paraná. In order to the development of the research the methodological tool Didactic Engineering Artigue which consists in a methodology developed only to the research with didactic situations. The main goal has been reached at first, which was to work on the conceptual part of the Exponential Function, the relation of dependence and its main characteristic so that the variable part is in the exponent. Moreover with no imposition but starting from suitable didactic situations, the students were able to realize that they could solve the problems which involve the exponential function and furthermore create new problems (according to their universe) modeled by this kind of function. Its believed that the methodology based on the theory of didactic situations, analysis of students registers, observation on mistakes and obstacles as well as reflections over the aspects of the didactic contract are of fundamental importance to the teaching practice and determinant during the teaching-learning process.

A relação entre o desempenho, remuneração do CEO e a criação de valor para o acionista nas empresas cotadas na Euronext Lisbon: abordagem com base na teoria da agência

A presente investigação nasceu da pertinência de compreender, em Portugal, o comportamento da remuneração total do Chief Executive Officer (CEO) face ao desempenho organizacional, por um lado, e a criação de valor para o acionista face ao desempenho organizacional e à remuneração total do CEO, por outro. Assim, o objetivo do estudo foi dividido em duas partes. A primeira analisou se o desempenho organizacional baseado em indicadores contabilísticos influencia o desempenho organizacional baseado em indicadores de mercado e se o desempenho organizacional, baseado em indicadores contabilísticos e indicadores de mercado, influencia a remuneração total do CEO. A segunda analisou se o desempenho organizacional, baseado em indicadores contabilísticos e indicadores de mercado, e a remuneração total do CEO influenciam a criação de valor para o acionista. Este estudo recorreu às premissas da teoria da agência para construir o modelo de análise. Fizeram parte da amostra as sociedades admitidas à negociação no mercado regulamentado Eurolist by Euronext Lisbon. Os dados foram recolhidos dos Relatórios e Contas Anuais, que incluem as Demonstrações Financeiras Consolidadas, dos Relatórios sobre o Governo Societário e da página web da Euronext Lisbon. Os dados foram tratados com recurso ao método de Análise de Equações Estruturais (AEE). Os resultados obtidos provaram que o desempenho organizacional baseado em indicadores contabilísticos influencia o desempenho organizacional baseado em indicadores de mercado, a remuneração total do CEO e a criação de valor para o acionista.

Filtros de areia aplicados à irrigação localizada: teoria e prática

The application of sand filters in localized irrigation systems is recommended in the presence of organic and algae contamination. The proper design and maintenance of these equipments are essential to assure an effective water quality control, in order to reduce the emitters clogging, to keep its water application uniformity, and to prevent increasing in the system operation costs. Despite the existence of some references about design, operation and maintenance of these filters, they are dispersed, with not enough details to guarantee the optimization of its hydraulics structure design and the proper selection of porous media to be used. Therefore, the objective of this work was to report a current literature review, relating practical information with scientific knowledge. The content of this review would help to induce and intensify the research on this subject and to contribute so the operational functions for the equipment are reached. It is also expected to assist the improvement of the filtration and flushing processes in the agricultural irrigation and the development of original design procedures and the rational use of these devices.

Formação de conceitos em crianças cegas: questões teóricas e implicações educacionais

Concept formation depends on language and thought, that promote the integration of information coming from the senses. It is postulated that changes in the person, the objects and events to be known suggest flexible models of concept teaching. It is assumed that the same considerations apply to teaching concepts to blind pupils. Specificities of this process are discussed, including the role of touch as resource, although not as a direct substitute to vision, and the notion of representation as a basis for the elaboration of pedagogical resources for the blind student.

TEORIA SINTÁTICA: DE UMA PERSPECTIVA DE -ISMOS PARA UMAPERSPECTIVA DE PROGRAMAS

This paper tries to show that the developments in linguistic sciences are better viewed as stages in a single research program, rather than different ideological -isms. The first part contains an overview of the structuralistas' beliefs about the universality and equivalence of human languages, and their search for syntactic universals. In the second part, we will see that the generative program, in its turn, tries to answer why language is a universal faculty in the human species and addresses questions about its form, its development and its use. In the second part, we will see that the paper gives a brief glimpse of the tentative answers the program has been giving to each of these issues.

A teoria e a prática: a questão da diferençano discurso sobre e da sala de aula

The main purpose of this paper is to question the relationship between theory and practice or basic and applied research in the domain of Applied Linguistics and classroom discourse. In order to achieve our aim, some theoretical texts, some recorded and transcribed classes as well as some teachers and students opinions about reading and writing were analysed. Results have shown that 1) practice is not the direct application of theoretical data: the relationship between them is not as simple as some applied linguists seem to believe because of the action of the unconscious in the constitution of subjectivity; 2) the conceptualization of the theoretical issues takes place in a confused and disorderly manner mixed up with personal experiences and previous knowledge (practice). We intend to question the fact that practice comes as secondary to theory.

Uma observação sobre o lugar da teoria da ligação e do critério temático dentro do programa minimalista

In this paper I present some evidencie that forces us to conclude that within the Minimalist Program (Chomsky 1993; 1995), Binding Theory (BT) should be computed after LF (Logical Form). I show that derivations leading to structures containing violations of BT-Principles must converge at LF, since less economical alternative derivations respecting those principles are also ungrammatical. Being irrelevant to the notion of convergence, BT must apply after LF. A similar reasoning reveals that the Theta-Criterion should have the status of a bare output condition appling at LF, since less economical derivations are allowed by the computational system to prevent violations of it.
