O objetivo desta pesquisa f oi estudar o atual estágio dos programas de controle de qualidade utilizados, segundo declarações dos entrevistados, por seis empresas de auditoria independentes, com sede ou filial na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, à luz de um referencial teórico previamente definido, de modo a avaliar a qualidade dos serviços prestados por estas empresas, bem como identificar as possíveis diferenças existentes entre os programas utilizados (Capítulo 1). Na revisão da literatura, procurou-se apresentar os programas de controle de qualidade utilizados, teoricamente, por empresas de auditoria em outros países, principalmente nos E.U.A., de modo a definir um quadro de referencial teórico. Apresentou-se, também, algumas consideraç5es a respeito da fiscalização do exercício profissional contábil no Brasil (Capitulo II). A seguir, apresentou-se a metodologia aplicada à pesquisa, justificando-se as razões para seu emprego (Capítulo III). As respostas obtidas durante a realização entrevistas, foram apresentadas através de quadro (I à IV) e notas. As respostas obtidas possibilitaram uma descrição das características gerais das empresas, dos padrões de controle de qualidade utilizados pelas empresas, e das considerações finais sobre empresas (Capítulo IV). As respostas viabilizaram analisar as seis empresas de auditoria pesquisadas, principalmente quanto aos seus padrões de Controle de Qualidade. Esta análise teve como base o quadro de referência teórico definido no capítulo II (Capítulo V). Finalmente, foi apresentado um sumário da pesquisa, as conclusões alcançadas, as recomendações deitas às partes envolvidas no processo de auditoria, e, por último, as sugestões para novas pesquisas (Capítulo VI).

Trata-se de um caso para ensino descritivo sobre o voluntariado em organizações da sociedade civil sem fins lucrativos na área da saúde. Identificado como um dos vértices da rede de governança colaborativa dos prestadores de serviço em saúde pública. No contexto do caso são apresentados conceitos de liderança voluntária e tomada de decisão em uma organização da sociedade civil sem fins Lucrativos na área da saúde. Análise de atores de governança colaborativa como complemento de qualidade na prestação de serviços para saúde pública é o foco do caso de ensino apresentado. O caso traz como pontos para reflexão e debate sobre a força motriz e o elemento de sustentação da rede colaborativa da saúde pública e a importância deste arranjo de relação Sociedade-Estado. O caso é indicado para estudantes de administração pública, políticas públicas, governança colaborativa, gestão social e áreas e afins.

OBJETIVO: Analisar os determinantes individuais e contextuais do uso de serviços de saúde na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo. MÉTODOS: Foram utilizados os dados do estudo São Paulo Megacity, a versão brasileira da pesquisa multicêntrica World Mental Health Survey. Foram analisados 3.588 indivíduos adultos residentes em 69 áreas da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo, SP (38 municípios adjacentes e 31 subprefeituras do município de São Paulo), selecionados por meio de amostragem multiestratificada da população não institucionalizada. Foram ajustados modelos multinível logísticos Bayesianos para identificar os determinantes individuais e contextuais do uso de serviços de saúde nos últimos 12 meses e a presença de médico de referência para cuidados de rotina. RESULTADOS: As características contextuais do local de residência (desigualdade de renda, violência e renda mediana) não apresentaram associação significativa (p > 0,05) com o uso de serviços ou com a presença de médico de referência para cuidados de rotina. A única exceção foi a associação negativa entre residir em uma área com alta desigualdade de renda e a presença de médico de referência (OR 0,77; IC95% 0,60;0,99) após controle das características individuais. O estudo apontou uma forte e consistente associação entre algumas características individuais (principalmente escolaridade e presença de plano de saúde) com o uso de serviços de saúde e ter médico de referência. A presença de doenças crônicas e mentais associou-se fortemente com o uso de serviços no último ano (independentemente de características individuais), mas não com a presença de médico de referência. CONCLUSÕES: Características individuais como maior escolaridade e ter plano de saúde foram determinantes importantes do uso de serviços de saúde na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo. A melhor compreensão desses determinantes é necessária para o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas que permitam o uso equitativo dos serviços de saúde.

This thesis shows concepts and models related to customer satisfaction measurement, focusing in detail on patients satisfaction evaluations in a policlinic sector of a hospital located in Natal RN. To reach this aim, two hundred and fifty one patients of this hospital were interviewed. The methodology approach includes a theoretical basis through a review and study of previous research on the topic, governmental initiatives and management systems which deal with excellence and need more reports concerning customers perceptions about satisfaction. Furthermore, it was included some models of nationals index about customer satisfaction. The Norwegian model was used in this thesis. The use of this approache, together with a multiple regression analysis, led to results that shows the factors which affect patients satisfaction in a policlinic sector. They are four as following: The evaluation of physician attendance; its results; simplicity of accessibility when health services are needed; and both support and tranquility given by the hospital. The study results can support researches of a conceptual model to determinate the aspects which affect the patient s satisfaction and could be a contribution to a development of a national costumer satisfaction index

The environmental management in the health establishments is a reality still little explored in the health sector in Brazil, especially concerning its wastes. The management of wastes of health services is established in the valid legislation through the National Council of Environment and Sanitary Vigilance Agency (358/2005 and 304/2004 respectively). The present work is about a descriptive work about the environmental health in the health services. The used criterion was to diagnose the environmental management in twelve establishments of health inserted in the three levels of complexity of the Unique Health System (Sistema Ùnico de Saúde SUS). Among the sub criteria used the waste management is the one of bigger concern. The one referring to the water quality is considered good. The analysis of data reveals that 66% of the establishments got a poor environmental ranking, 17% critical and 17% appropriate, showing that the health establishments in the three levels of complexity of the SUS need urgent structural, environmental and educational interventions

Health care waste (HCW) is the type of waste that results from activities performed in health care services during care provision to humans or animals. Presently, according to RDC 306/04, issued in 2004 by Anvisa, and Resolution no. 358/05, by CONAMA, waste groups have the following classification: Group A (biological waste), Group B (chemical waste), Group C (waste containing radionucleotides), Group D (common waste) and Group E (piercing and cutting waste). In Brazil, 149 tons of wastes are collected every day, and HCW corresponds to approximately 1% to 3 % of that total. An efficient way to adequately manage HCW is through the Health Care Waste Management Plan (HCWMP), and it is possible to reduce the risk posed by certain materials in addition to ensuring disposal in an ecologically correct and economical fashion. According to the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), the management process enables health care establishments to adequately manage waste. Hence, there is greater control and reduction in the health risks caused by infectious or special waste, in addition to facilitated recycling, treatment, storage, transport and final disposal of solid hospital waste in an environmentally safe fashion. To evaluate the management of HCW of Groups A and D from the Intensive Care Unit of the University Emergency Hospital - FMB - UNESP in the city of Botucatu according to the guidelines presently in force. The waste flow was followed up, and during four random days in the month of September 2011, waste was quantified by estimating daily and monthly values, according to its classification. : In 2011, the University hospital has produced an average of 57,676.8 kg/month of biological and common waste. By adding Groups A and D, during the four days, approximately 209.8 Kg of waste (202.2 Kg of Group A and 7.6 Kg of Group D) were produced in the establishment under study, which... The Health Care Wastes (HCW) present serious risks to health and to the environment, if incorrectly managed, because in addition to the presence of pathogenic agents, the may pollute the soil and the water. Thus, a study was performed aiming at diagnosing the HCW management in Araraquara (SP), identifying the difficulties of the agents (municipal gestors and managers of institutions which generate this wastes) in implanting the HCW management Plan (HCWMP) proposed by ANVISA, in order to subside the HCWMP implantation. The methodology was based on question applications in health centers selected to be the samples, and on quantitative data related to the phases of Treatment and Final Disposal, provided by DAAE. As a result, it was observed that a great part of the interviewed centers managed these wastes according to norm RDC no 306/ 2004 of ANVISA. However, only 24% of the interviewed centers knew about this norm, and only 22% of them had the HCWMP. The difficulties in managing the HCW concentrated in the correct segregation of theses wastes in the generation source. The large number of people involved in this phase suggests the causes of the difficulties.

Radiography is currently an important method of diagnosis, both medical, dental and veterinary. The image in this type of survey is obtained using an X-ray beam, where the radiologist can possibly view structures of interest. It isn't always possible to get the desired images due to various factors, such as equipment limitations. The Administrative Law 453/98, the State Resolution SS 625/94, and other standards require testing and quality control acceptance limits that guarantee a good performance of the equipment for the security and quality of care, giving service users greater effectiveness in exams. This study were performed in the accompaniment of testing procedures for quality control established by Administrative Law 453/98 in several X-ray equipment to make a comparison and optimization in the descriptions of the procedures used by the Institute for Electrical Energy and the University of São Paulo (IEE / USP / SP).The optimization of the procedures were performed with the aid of a current literature, the Resolution 453/98, State Resolution SS 625/94 and other international standards. On this basis it was possible to observe the importance of regular monitoring of tests for an update, following the technological development of instruments used in the service

The purpose of this work is to provide quality control requirements and security in dental x-rays in order to obtain good quality image which allows the correct diagnosis, which reduces the dose to the patient, mainly due to the repetition of tests, and decreasing cost. The requirements apply to related activities to quality control and procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in dentistry by evaluating a minimum set of parameters to be tested or verified. Quality control follows the Ordinance No. 453 of the Ministry of Health of 06.01.1998, SS Resolution No. 625 of 12.14.1994 and Resolution No. 64 of the Health Surveillance Center – Department of Health of Sao Paulo and National Health Surveillance Agency – Ministry of Health of Brazil. This study was conducted in the city of Marilia, Sao Paulo, along with the Company P&R Consulting and Medical Physics, in a dental clinic of the University UNIMAR in the x-ray equipment used on that site. The physical parameters of the device were tested with the aid of ionization chambers to measure rates of radiation, electrometer to measure rates of time, kV and doses, radiographic films and positioning devices. Finally, this work demonstrates the need and importance of quality control, which one ensures the proper use of x-ray machines, maintaining efficiency and at the same time it reduces the risks to the patient, to the dentist and to the general public

The arterial hypertension is a chronic disease, which can be controlled by changing the way of life, as well as by drug treatment, which demand specific Health Care sequence. The lack of adherence to sequence/treatment is one of the main obstacles the disease control. Characterize and analyze the profile of Health Care usage by a 192 patient cohort diagnosed with arterial hypertension in 1995, between the period of 2001 – 2005 and 2006 – 2010. It is a longitudinal study, retrospective and descriptive developed on School Health Center(SHC) which belongs to School of Medicine Botucatu –UNESP, in continuity of the previous research which has analyzed the sequence of the referred sample between the period of 1995 – 1999. The database was obtained from the patients records by using structured adapted forms appointed in the previous study phase. In the case there were transfers to other Health Care facilities, the database was obtained by the records either, while the patients attended the CSE. The database was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics. Predominated the patients in the age from 50 – 69 (47,9%), whites (93,2%), female (56,7%) with low level of education (72,7%). In the period of 2001 - 2005, 76 (39,5%) of the patients remained under sequence, and that 44 (22,9%) belonged to adherence group (GAD), 17 belonged to abandonment/adherent group (GAB/GAD) and 15 to the abandonment group (GAB), groups which were already identified by the study which has analyzed the period of 1995 – 1999. At the end of the third period of the sample sequence (2006 – 2010), 60 (31,2%) of the patients kept under medical sequence. The cohort’s mortality rate in the period reached 15,1% and 21,9% were transferred to other Municipal Health Care facilities. Befor the vast economical growth and wild scientific and technological development, the companies are demanding, more and more qualification and acting of the services rendered by their employees. Like this, tasks are restricted the they be done with excellence, because the companies are always controlling the worker's development. They are several the tools used by the companies, as acting indexes to control the course of the worker's activities or certain section, integrations for new employees with the objective to present the line of work of the company so that the new employee is framed in these patterns, trainings offered for the employees to carry out their services with quality and compromising, evaluations of year end in order to test the worker's knowledge and to demand better results, finally, the companies hope the employee integrates normativamente into the reality of the company, in way to contribute for the atingimento of the organizational strategies, always collecting for this to obtain the best results and contribute to the growth of the company. This way, that research will present a tool of control of the total quality applied in a company in Rio Clearing's city and that it is managed by an educador. They will be verified the objectives that the company has in relationship a this control, the worker's subjectivity as participant subject of the tool of control of the System of Administration of the Quality and the worker's different glances before these aspects throught an interview.

The dynamics of the health services sector can be seen in studies of geographical features as analysis on the quantity and quality of médical and hospital services provided and the demand or need sensed by the population, whether the public sector, whether private sector within a defined portion of space, in analysis in this study, the Administrative Region of Barretos, State of São Paulo. This study seeks to better understand the dynamics of the health services sector (Public and Private) in the production of urban space of the Administrative Region of Barretos, for it will be reviewed, in particular, the Cities Health Centers, Bebedouro and Barretos. Also proposes through this, try to clarify the central regional Barretos and Bebedouro in the context of health services

Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a discursividade de gestores sobre a relação entre a organização dos serviços de saúde e a gestão do cuidado à tuberculose (TB) em um município da região metropolitana de João Pessoa/PB. Conduzido pela pesquisa qualitativa no campo analítico da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, participaram 16 trabalhadores de saúde que atuavam como integrantes de equipes gestoras. Os depoimentos transcritos foram organizados com uso do software Atlas.ti versão 6.0. Após leitura minuciosa do material empírico procurou-se observar nos discursos os processos parafrásicos, polissêmicos e metafóricos, os quais possibilitaram a identificação da seguinte formação discursiva: organização dos serviços de saúde e a relação com a gestão do cuidado à TB; o plano e a prática. Nos discursos dos gestores evidencia-se a fragmentação das ações de controle da tuberculose, a falta de articulação entre os serviços e os setores, o cumprimento de atividades específicas à TB, bem como a falta de planejamento estratégico para gestão do cuidado da doença. Nesse sentido, para que a organização dos serviços de saúde seja efetiva, se faz necessário que a tuberculose seja prioridade na agenda da gestão e reconhecida como um problema social.
