Le romanesque africain sous le signe de la ruse : L'étrange destin de Wangrin d'Hampaté Bâ et Monnè, outrages et d��fis d'Ahmadou Kourouma

Le motif de la ruse est une constante de l'imaginaire africain et ses figures, souvent animales dans les contes, attestent de la valeur symbolique de cet art du stratagème. Avec la complicité du roman d'H. Bâ, L'étrange destin de Wangrin, et celui d'A. Kourouma, Monnè, outrages et d��fis, nous allons montrer que la ruse et le rusé ont subi une métamorphose en devenant des pratiques textuelles. La ruse littéraire donne voix à « l'autre » et la langue construite sous ce signe-là est le lieu d'une prise de pouvoir, celle de sa propre énonciation.

Localization of Cathepsins D and B at the Maternal-Fetal Interface and the Invasiveness of the Trophoblast during the Postimplantation Period in the Mouse

A survey of existing data suggests that trophoblast cells produce factors involved in extracellular matrix degradation. In this study, we correlated the expression of cathepsins D and B in the murine ectoplacental cone with the ultrastructural progress of decidual invasion by trophoblast cells. Both proteases were immunolocalized at implantation sites in lysosome-endosome-like compartments of trophoblast giant cells. Cathepsin D, but not cathepsin B, was also detected ultrastructurally in extracellular compartments surrounded by processes of the invading trophoblast containing extracellular matrix components and endometrial cell debris. The expression of cathepsins D and B by trophoblast cells was confirmed by RT-PCR in ectoplacental cones isolated from implantation chambers at gestation day 7.5. Our data addressed a positive relationship between the expression and presence of cathepsin D at the extracellular compartment of the maternal-fetal interface and the invasiveness of the trophoblast during the postimplantation period, suggesting a participation of invading trophoblast cells in the cathepsin D release. Such findings indicate that mouse trophoblast cells might exhibit a proteolytic ability to partake in the decidual invasion process at the maternal-fetal interface. Copyright (C) 2010 S. Measurement of the Lifetime of the B-c(+/-) Meson in the Semileptonic Decay Channel

Measurement of gamma + b + X and gamma + c + X Production Cross Sections in pp > Collisions at s=1.96 TeV

First measurements of the differential cross sections d(3)sigma/(dp(T)(gamma)dy(gamma)dy(jet)) for the inclusive production of a photon in association with a heavy quark (b, c) jet are presented, covering photon transverse momenta 30 < p(T)(gamma)< 150 GeV, photon rapidities |y(gamma)|< 1.0, jet rapidities |y(jet)|< 0.8, and jet transverse momenta p(T)(jet)> 15 GeV. The results are based on an integrated luminosity of 1 fb(-1) in pp collisions at s=1.96 TeV recorded with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The results are compared with next-to-leading order perturbative QCD predictions.

Exotic B-c-like molecules in QCD sum rules

We use the QCD sum rules to study possible B-c-like molecular states. We consider isoscalar J(P) = 0(+) and J(P) = 1(+) D(*) B(*) molecular currents. We consider the contributions of condensates up to dimension eight and we work at leading order in alpha(s). We obtain for these states masses around 7 GeV. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V.
