Embodying feminist research: learning from action research, political practices, diffractions and collective knowledge.

In the past three decades, feminists and critical theorists have discussed and argued the importance of deconstructing and problematizing social science research methodology in order to question normalized hierarchies concerning the production of knowledge and the status of truth claims. Nevertheless, often, these ideas have basically remained theoretical propositions not embodied in research practices. In fact there is very little published discussion about the difficulties and limits of their practical application. In this paper we introduce some interconnected reflections starting from two different but related experiences of embodying 'feminist activist research'. Our aim is to emphasise the importance of attending to process, making mistakes and learning during fieldwork, as well as experimenting with personalized forms of analysis, such as the construction of narratives and the story-telling process.

Emotionale Offenheit: Ein neues Modell in Forschung und Praxis

Jeder Mensch hat seine eigene Art, Emotionen, Gefühle und Stimmungen zu erleben und zu verarbeiten. Die verschiedenen emotionalen Zustände und die Formen ihrer Verarbeitung spannen sich über ein komplexes Kontinuum: sie umfassen unsere schönsten persönlichen Erlebnisse, können aber auch wichtige psychologische Probleme zum Ausdruck bringen. Diese Komplexität wird in der Psychologie, aber auch in anderen Wissenschaften, stärker denn je diskutiert und stellt eine große Herausforderung für Diagnostik und Intervention dar.«Emotionale Offenheit» wird als mehrdimensionaler Ansatz vorgestellt, um der Spannbreite der Emotionsverarbeitung gerecht zu werden und den Herausforderungen in Diagnostik und Intervention im klinischen Kontext zu begegnen.Der beiliegenden Fragebogen und eine Reihe von Anwendungsbeispielen machen aus dem Buch auch ein Instrument für die Praxis.

El 'Parlament Universitari': una experiencia interdisciplinar de simulación alrededor del Derecho y la praxis parlamentarios

El Parlament Universitari es una experiencia de simulación parlamentaria desarrollada conjuntamente por un equipo de profesores universitarios y el Parlament de Catalunya. En dicha experiencia, los estudiantes se organizaban en grupos parlamentarios y reproducían el funcionamiento de la cámara, desarrollando, con ello, competencias de carácter actitudinal y procedimental. Progresivamente, la actividad fue siendo enriquecida, con la idea de acercar lo máximo posible la simulación a la praxis política y parlamentaria real —introducción del letrado simulado, simulación periodística—. Aunque debe considerarse como una técnica que necesita del complemento de actividades de transmisión de conocimientos, la simulación parlamentaria permite desarrollar habilidades importantes en relación con estudios vinculados más o menos a la actividad parlamentaria, así como acercar la democracia representativa a estudiantes universitarios más alejados de la praxis y el Derecho parlamentarios por razón de su especialidad. En este sentido, debe destacarse la posibilidad de utilizar la experiencia para la elaboración de materiales para estudiantes no universitarios, con la finalidad de di-vulgar la institución parlamentaria.

[spa]Desde la década de 1970 el feminismo ha significado una de las profundizaciones críticas m.s productivas del legado del pensamiento político de la modernidad. El presente artículo atiende al cuestionamiento de las modernas nociones de libertad y comunidad políticas que Linda Zerilli ha llevado a cabo en su lectura de Hannah Arendt y de Ludwig Wittgenstein. A partir de ah. y de la reciente querella en torno al diformismo sexual, se muestra la necesidad de repensar la relación entre teoría y praxis más allá de la concepción moderna, presente en buena parte de la teoría feminista contemporánea. [eng]Since the 1970s feminism has signified one of the most productive critical reconsiderations of modern political thought legacy. This article examines the questioning ofmodern notions of political freedom and political community that Linda Zerilli has undertaken in her reading of Hannah Arendt and Ludwig Wittgenstein. On this basis and on criticism of sexual dimorphism, the article shows the need to rethink the relationship between theory and praxis beyond itsmodern conception, a feature present in much of contemporary feminist theory.
