In this work a review of the supersymmetric quantum mechanics formalism combined with the variational method is done. This approach is useful in order to obtain numerical values for the energy eigenvalues from Schrödinger equation. As an example, the energy eigenvalues from the Lennard-Jones (12,6) potential are determined and the results are compared with other ones obtained from different methods. In the present work, the basic concepts of radiometric, photometric and colorimetric calibration are presented, which were applied to three light-emitting diodes (LEDs) used to compose the different color sensations that the human eye perceives in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum. In this sense, an experimental setup comprising a LED drive circuit and a home-made integrating sphere was assembled for the initial radiometric and photometric calibration as well as to obtain a set of intensity and spectral combinations associated to different colorimetric CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) coordinates. The reader can, therefore, understand, in a simple manner, the process of color composition inside a color monitor or display picture element (pixel ). © Sociedade Brasileira de Física.

This paper aims to give an initial presentation to physics students of the area of electron transfer, addressing its major aspects. The subject is then presented in an introductory way, highlighting and discussing the key points. Primarily, the problem is approached in a simplified manner through a two-state system, and aspects of calculating the matrix-element are discussed. Then, the electron transfer problem, influenced by nuclear reaction coordinates, is addressed and treated by the Marcus theory. Time scales and the concepts of adiabatic and nonadiabatic phenomena are discussed in the context of electron transfer. The classical, semi-classical and quantum formalisms of for the nuclear reactions coordinates are presented, and aspects of solvents are also discussed. Finally, we conclude by examining some recent examples of problems discussed in the literature.

We describe an experimental procedure to probe the validity of Newton's second law. The experimental arrangement allows us to accelerate a glider on an air track by means of forces that are both steady and known. We also show how to determine acceleration from average speeds calculated for successive time intervals of the motion measured by using several electronic counters connected to a single-crystal oscillator circuit. Within experimental errors, the experiments clearly show the proportionality between acceleration and force for a fixed mass and between acceleration and inverse of mass for a fixed force. © by the Sociedade Brasileira de Física.

Este livro tem como objetivo verificar se na formação dos professores na área de Educação Física há também espaço para a difusão de saberes que vão além dos conhecimentos técnico-científicos. Os autores partem do princípio de que modernamente é dado como certo que a instabilidade dos ambientes da prática docente exige dos professores mais do que conhecimentos teóricos: demanda deles também que trabalhem com elementos como a incerteza e a complexidade, diante de situações como o imprevisto, a urgência, a dispersão, a indisciplina e a dificuldade para a compreensão e a aprendizagem. Tais situações obrigariam o professor a emitir juízos e tomar decisões, quase sempre de caráter prático. A conclusão dos pesquisadores é, no entanto, de que os cursos de formação dos profissionais de Educação Física continuam privilegiando as disciplinas teóricas, e trabalham pouco os chamados saberes práticos. O estudo foi baseado em entrevistas com estudantes e professores e em análise documental e interpretativa de situações práticas do ensino da disciplina em três escolas municipais de Indaiatuba (SP). Tratou-se, portanto, de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e do tipo descritiva, e não de uma investigação quantitativa

In this paper we present an alternative approach due to Bondi for the special theory of relativity. During the development, we analyse the Bondi diagrams, visual resources from which we can take some information about the analysed systems, and we discuss the K factor of Bondi's theory, which is in the core of this work. We then discuss some of the main results obtained from Einstein's special theory of relativity such as the time dilation, spatial contraction and simultaneity of spatially separated events, besides the Lorentz transformations. We also show other two important results in physics coming from K calculus: the relativistic linear momentum and the total relativistic energy.

Since 2008 the Department of Education of the State of São Paulo implemented the curriculum for elementary and high school. Within the discipline of Physical Education, Hip Hop appears as a theme for the ninth year pertaining to the content of rhythmic activities. However, there seems to be difficulties of teachers and their training against such content. Therefore, this research has developed a textbook to support didactic teaching for physical education teacher about Hip Hop in school. For this we conducted a literature review, which were selected several studies that sought to investigate the main difficulties of the physical education teachers, as well as those who had the Hip Hop theme, so that the material could meet the real difficulties of these professionals. Furthermore, we analyzed textbooks from other disciplines will be considered as the experiences of the researcher with the contents of dancing. Thus, we found some difficulties in the analysis of textbooks in the area of Physical Education, since there is a certain shortage of materials, as well as related specifically to Hip Hop. From the investigations, the book was prepared by selecting subtopics important to treat this content teachers in the school, for example, the story, the basic features and steps. It is understood, therefore, that this type of work is very important for Physical Education Teachers considering the difficulties facing the contents of Hip Hop and can contribute more effectively to their inclusion in the school context

O presente trabalho visa, em meio à crise de identidade que se instaura na Educação Física desde décadas – do seu início oficial em 1851 com a Reforma Couto Ferraz até os dias de hoje onde se fala em Cultura Corporal (de Movimento) – , enquanto área do conhecimento, explorar seu contexto e constituição históricosocial, perpassar por suas principais abordagens, principalmente no que tange à Educação Física Escolar e promover o entendimento da origem da perspectiva cultural, tal qual tem sido veiculada nos principais documentos oficiais que definem a constituição da área e sua práxis. Nesse sentido, aborda-se o contexto higienista/eugenista, onde se buscava uma educação do físico que o prevenisse de doenças e o purifcasse, com profundas influências militares; o contexto nacionalista, na intenção do aperfeiçoamento físico e aprimoramento das funções orgânicas, atrelado às questões de ordem moral e cívica; escolanovista, que proporcionou uma visão não só embasada biologicamente, mas se atentou à fatores psicológicos da criança; o contexto da ditadura militar, fortemente associado ao Esporte e a visibilidade internacional que ele acarretava ao país, inclusive, remetendo à Educação Física ao binômio Educação Física/Esporte; e o contexto que, a partir de década de 80, vem tentando instaurar uma Educação Física mais humana, sem deixar de lado questões relativas à saúde. É a partir dessa última década que o tema será aprofundado, apresentando-se alguns conceitos de “cultura” trazidos e utilizados pelas ciências sociais para, posteriormente, explanar como a Educação Física se apropria de tais conceitos para justificar-se enquanto conteúdo curricular obrigatório, no contexto escolar. With the wide variety of content to be worked out what really is expected of students in curricular physical education component? And as teachers conduct and evaluate this learning? These processes occur in the same way in public and private institutions? What is the relationship of the assessment with the students, with content and with the school? These were questions that motivated this research, which aims to conduct a desk review involving different schools, and interview their teachers, in order to identify possible relationships between teachers, students and educational institutions when referring to the assessment of physical education, between schools in different school systems (private, state and municipal), specifically from 6th to 9th grade. The survey was conducted in three different schools in the city Bauru/SP, being a private school, a school hall and a state school, and their physical education teachers. As a methodological reference was used qualitative research, and documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews were the techniques used for data collection. The data collected were tabulated and analyzed separately, and after the first analysis were separated into four categories that related to the study of literature review, interviews of teachers and the political projects of schools teaching (the documents that were analyzed). After the analysis performed it was revealed that the ways teachers surveyed perform their assessments contradicts the main problems and difficulties found in the literature. And regardless of the demands made by the educational institution that really influences the evaluation in physical education classes is the commitment and professional commitment to his students and his principles

The intention of this paper is to present some Aristotelian arguments regarding the motion on local terrestrial region. Because it is a highly sophisticated and complex explanation dealt with, briefly, the principles and causes that based theoretic sciences in general and in particular physics. Subdivided into eight topics this article in order to facilitate the understanding of these concepts for the reader not familiar with the Aristotelian texts. With intent to avoid an innocent view, anachronistic and linear the citations are of primary sources or commentators of Aristotle's works.

O fluxo de materiais granulares é pouco discutido nos livros de física básica, apesar de que sistemas de grãos estão muito presentes na vida cotidiana. Este trabalho mostra o desenvolvimento de um sistema experimental relativamente simples para estudar a vazão de grãos de arroz e de açúcar. O aparelho é constituído por um silo cilíndrico com uma abertura circular no fundo e uma balança. A balança é conectada a um computador para monitorar a massa como função do tempo dos grãos que saem do silo. Foram realizadas medidas para diferentes diâmetros da abertura de saída do silo e diferentes alturas iniciais da coluna de grãos. Para fins didáticos, o mesmo sistema foi usado para medir a vazão de água. Os resultados claramente ilustram as diferenças entre os dois tipos de fluidos e podem ser facilmente reproduzidos em sala de aulas.
