En Carrefour el conocimiento y la complejidad : dos aspectos fuerza para el equipo de organización y proyectos

Este artículo presenta la generación y conceptualización de información, producto de relaciones entre factores o elementos que conforman a las empresas. Sostenemos que este entendimiento se encuentra en el camino de la gestión del conocimiento y la teoría de complejidad. Se toma como estudio de caso a Carrefour Grandes Superficies de Colombia, y se expone de manera descriptiva y reflexiva cómo la compañía opera la información y el impacto de ésta en el área de organización y proyectos. Se presenta el marco teórico compuesto por dos teorías: la gestión del conocimiento y la complejidad. La tesis que sostengo es que en Carrefour el conocimiento y la complejidad dos aspectos fuerza, líderes para el equipo de Organización y Proyectos.

Active citizenship

The aim of this activity is to allow students to explore the nature of political action, which can be thought of as a form of active as opposed to passive citizenship. By learning about and reflecting upon past instances of political action, or activism, students will be able to start thinking about what is likely to make a campaign successful. It is intended that these reflections can then be applied to their own actions as active citizens. It is hoped that the historical case studies combined with the information provided on different campaigning tools and methods will help to make students feel empowered and inspired to take action. In setting students the task of planning an action, it is expected that time management and organizational skills will be improved. It is believed that by putting themselves in the shoes of activists and going through the process of planning an action, they will have an engaged learning experience. The reflective element of the activity encourages students to form and defend opinions on the relative strengths and weaknesses of different campaigning methods, and on the acceptable limits to political action. This learning activity has been designed presuming no prior knowledge of activism or its methods, and has been successfully used with first year undergraduate students from a variety of disciplines. However, the activity provides a basis for more in-depth study of several issues, or alternatively study into further examples of campaign organizations. Social Networking Technologies: Project Launch

Students taking the 20 credit version of the course (COMP6052) will work in groups of 6 to develop and design a new social networking tool/application/website. The teams will work on their design throughout the semester, and keep a design and development blog that will act as a digital portfolio of their work. At the end of the semester they will also be asked to submit an individual reflective summary that will outline their teams objectives and progress, their part in its progress, and a critical analysis of whether or not they were successful. At the end of the course teams will be asked to pitch their ideas to an interdisciplinary Dragon's Den style panel who will expect them to not only have created something that is technical viable, but will also want to see other economic, social, legal and ethical factors taken into consideration. In this presentation we explain the structure of the group project, what is expected in the blog, and explore some potential ideas to help students understand the scope of the work required. The outcome of the group project does not have to be a fully working piece of software, instead we are looking for a well developed idea that contains enough detail to be convincing to the panel.

Incidencia del Tratado de Asunción (1991) en las dinámicas migratorias del Cono Sur. Un análisis de las migraciones laborales a Argentina. Periodo (1992-1997)

El Tratado de Asunción influye sobre las dinámicas migratorias del Cono Sur, y en especial de Argentina. Pues genera unas condiciones económicas especiales en el Cono Sur, que sumadas a los instrumentos institucionales, influyen a su vez jurídicamente, lo que refuerza la migración interregional al País Austral.

Uso de lisados bacterianos en la prevención de la infección respiratoria recurrente en pediatría. Revisión sistemática de la literatura

Las infecciones respiratorias altas y bajas son una causa común de morbimortalidad infantil. Se ha propuesto el uso de los lisados bacterianos para prevenir las infecciones recurrentes sin embargo su uso aún se considera controversial. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura. La búsqueda se realizó a través de las bases de datos PUBMED, Embase, Ovid, LiLaCS y Cochrane library plus. Se incluyeron metanálisis publicados en idiomas inglés y español, entre los años 1998 y 2012. Se realizó una evaluación de calidad siguiendo la estrategia Quorum y un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de los resultados. Resultados: Se incluyeron 4 revisiones sistemáticas de la literatura con metanálisis. Fue apreciable la disminución de las recurrencias de las infecciones respiratorias relacionadas con el uso de los lisados bacterianos. Los lisados bacterianos disminuyen la necesidad de uso de antibióticos. No se encontró evidencia sobre el uso de los lisados sobre desenlaces como la necesidad de intervenciones adicionales, tiempo de hospitalización, costo relacionado con la atención en salud. No se reportaron eventos adversos de importancia. Conclusión: Los lisados bacterianos son eficaces en disminuir la recurrencia de las infecciones respiratorias en pacientes en edad pediátrica.

¿Pueden pensar las máquinas? Una evaluación del problema de la inteligencia artificial mediante el equilibrio refractivo

Revisión del problema de la filosofía de la Inteligencia Artificial a la vista del Equilibrio refractivo. La revisión del problema se lleva a cabo para mostrar como "¿pueden pensar las máquinas?" sólo se ha evaluado en los terminos humanos. El equilibrio refractivo se plantea como una herramienta para definir conceptos de tal modo que la experiencia y los preceptos se encuentren en equilibrio, para con él construir una definición de pensar que no esté limitada exclusivamente a "pensar tal y como lo hacen los humanos".

Calidad de vida laboral y liderazgo en trabajadores asistenciales y administrativos en un centro oncológico de la ciudad de Bogotá

El propósito de este estudio fue describir la Calidad de vida laboral (CVL) y el estilo de liderazgo percibido por el personal administrativo/asistencial de un centro oncológico y estimar la asociación entre ellas, considerando las características sociodemográficas. Para ello se aplicó el Cuestionario de Vida profesional [CVP-35] y el Test de Adjetivos de Pitcher [PAT]. En general, los participantes presentan una CVL satisfactoria, caracterizada principalmente por motivación intrínseca, lo cual fue más evidente en el personal asistencial. Respecto al liderazgo, se observó una percepción de ausencia de liderazgo o características poco deseables de éste, lo cual aunque no determina la CVL, si constituye un factor modulador de la misma, las variables sociodemográficas no guardaron relación con la CVL. Por último se resalta la responsabilidad social que tienen los directivos sobre bienestar de los trabajadores de la salud, y consecuentemente sobre la atención al paciente. Se discuten estos hallazgos y lo pertinente de utilizar las categorías emergentes del PAT.
