An��lise do apoio dos sistemas de informa����o para as pr��ticas de gest��o ambiental em empresas com ISO 14001 - estudo de m��ltiplos casos

The purpose of this article is to identify the contributions of Information Systems (IS) for environmental management practices, as well as the opportunities and challenges in this relation. Thus, we performed two case studies with Brazilian enterprises certified ISO 14001, by conducting interviews, document analysis and direct observation. As results, we present the identification of the main contributions of information systems for environmental management practices in the studied cases, the verification that a more advanced stage regarding IS is a factor that implies a more effective contribution, besides finding challenges and opportunities in this relation. The main contribution of this research consists of the presentation of a framework that identifies the support of information systems for environmental practices.

Technological development in the IT and telecommunications sectors have transformed the way organizations communicate with their audiences. Social Media allow the exchange of information instantaneously, in a communication from many to many. With few studies in the area, many companies venture into the social media without a strategy and a generally end up denigrating their image itself. Thus, this study was conceived from the idea of contributing, analytically, based on the main concepts of Public Relations so the organizations effectively take advantage of their online presence to generate relationships, more specifically, on Twitter.Twitter is a social media with a mature public, requiring dynamics of information and quick answers, based on dialogue, referring to the idea of text messages (SMS). To better expose the results of this research, three organizations with expertise in twitter were chosen: Bradesco , Positivo Inform��tica and Ponto Frio. The choice of case studies was based on the different segments that each one operates and that they are large companies with reputable commercial operations in the Brazilian scenario. To analyze their profiles, several authors were studied, like F��bio Fran��a, Maria Aparecida Ferrari, Margarida Kunsch e Marlene Machiori.The intent of the analysis of the Twitter profiles of these organizations is to understand whether they are using strategies for creating and maintaining relationships with your followers and how this occurs from specific categories, as other companies have committed serious errors and impairing their business because of mismanagement in social media. Therefore, the profiles were analyzed from the netnogr��fica methodology. Estudo urbano e ambiental da circula����o urbana do bairro de Santo Amaro, cidade de S��o Paulo

This work is resulted of studies about the urban circulation in the modern cities. It was developed from two case studies: the city of S��o Paulo, specifically Santo Amaro's neighborhood and the city of Regensburg in Germany. The urban circulation of these places was analyzed starting from the premise that the daily of the inhabitants is a relevant factor to be considered. It was researched the types of transportation, the accessibility, and the clearance of public transportations. One of the main purposes of this work was to present general guidelines for the improvement urban circulation in the modern cities, as well as to supply didactic material that contribute to the reflection about urban circulation focusing priorly on the problems of traffic of driving force vehicles

O papel do recreador de acampamentos como educador

As atividades de recrea����o e lazer podem apresentar um alto teor educativo, sendo coadjuvantes importantes no processo educacional, entretanto, torna-se necess��ria a atua����o de um profissional competente, o qual possa estar consciente de suas fun����es e a����es, inclusive, quando lida em ambiente n��o-formal de educação, como �� o caso dos acampamentos, vivenciados nos momentos destinados ao lazer. Este estudo de natureza qualitativa teve por objetivo investigar, na vis��o dos pr��prios profissionais da recrea����o atuantes em acampamentos educacionais, como eles percebem seu papel como educador e como contribuem na forma����o sociocultural dos acampantes. O trabalho desenvolveuse em duas etapas, a primeira com uma revis��o de literatura acerca do tema e a segunda com uma pesquisa explorat��ria, utilizando-se como instrumento um question��rio contendo perguntas abertas e fechadas. A amostra foi composta por 27 participantes, de ambos os sexos, com idade m��dia de 22 anos e 6 meses, de diferentes n��veis socioecon��micos e com envolvimento na atividade h�� mais de um ano. Os dados coletados foram analisados descritivamente, utilizando-se a t��cnica de An��lise de Conte��do e indicam que todos os sujeitos do estudo, acreditam contribuir efetivamente para mudan��as positivas de conduta dos acampantes e em sua forma����o sociocultural. Esses profissionais s��o, portanto, conscientes de sua fun����o educativa, entretanto, apontaram a necessidade de se envolverem com este prop��sito, buscando as melhores estrat��gias para o fim educacional, sem perder as peculiaridades do ambiente l��dico. A partir disto, conclui-se que experi��ncias significativas no ��mbito do lazer, como as dos acampamentos educacionais, s��o capazes de contribuir em aspectos educacionais e socioculturais, por meio da atua����o de um recreador competente

Determinantes e indicadores de eco-inova����o

This study aimed to gather the determinants and indicators of environmental innovations through a literature review on the topic. But before it was made a presentation of concepts and typology of eco-innovation, with different points of view. The determinant more found by most authors was regulation, followed by market factors, cost reductions and company image. To highlight these determinants were presented some cases studies, including evidence in Brazil. Due to the short bibliography and case studies, there are few indicators of environmental innovation found, highlighting the investment in environmental R&D and patents

Over the years, water has become an increasingly valuable resource and scarce, this situation is attributed to factors such as population growth, poor distribution and increasing degradation of water resources as a result of indiscriminate human activities in the middle environment, making their dwindling availability and increasing its cost. I n this context , the use of rainwater for non-potable purposes begins to be stimulated in Brazil , as a measure to preserve this resource , while in countries such as Japan and Germany , this technique has already been used for a long time. The ability to capture rainwater reduces the demand for sanitation companies, also resulting in cost reduction with the water bill and the risk of flooding in the event of heavy rains. The stored water is used only for non-potable purposes, such as toilets, taps into the garden, for washing vehicles and clothing. This work was developed with the aim of presenting the importance of rational use of water, associated with viability constructive economic and consumption of the installation of rain water harvesting, and for that, considered four case studies. From this study, it was found that the implementation of this system has led to a reduction in costs of water and sewer consumption poses no hazard to the user and its installation does not require significant changes in building construction, however, in relation to the economy, should be made a detailed analysis in each case for investment to bring a suitable financial return within the lifetime of the system
