Atualizações sobre o uso de óleo de peixe no tratamento de cardiopatia canina

There are cardiopathies that acometem the dogs, being able this being congenital or acquired and lately have grown the number of cases due to the increase of the life expectancy of these animals becoming each time more necessary prevention methods. In recent years innumerable research is being carried through to understand the influence of the fish oil in the cardiopathies. The fish oil ingestion, Omega 3, has shown beneficial effect in the prevention of cardiovascular illnesses in such a way in the men as in the animals. Such effect this related to the presence of acid greasy polyunsaturateds n-3, mainly acid the eicosapentaenóico (EPA) and acid the docosahexaenóico (DHA). These substances can be found in foods as marine cold water fish (salmon, tuna, sardine and Trout), hemp seeds and soy. The present study, therefore, it has as objective to carry through an update on the use of the fish oil in the treatment of cardiopathies in dogs

Perfis de Orfeu na poesia brasileira recente

Muitos são os atributos que perfazem o ciclo mítico de Orfeu, o mais importante dos poetas lendários da Grécia antiga: ele, além de amante devotado (pois desceu ao Hades em busca da amada Eurídice) e protótipo de poeta lírico (em termos ideais platônicos), teria sido o fundador do culto de mistérios que leva seu nome, o Orfismo. Tema recorrente na literatura e nas artes ocidentais, sobretudo a partir das obras dos latinos Ovídio e Virgílio, o mito de Orfeu, em seus aspectos mítico-poéticos, vinca a poesia brasileira desde a Colônia e atinge inusitada voga a partir dos anos 40/50 do século XX, quando pode encharcar-se de certos aspectos místico-religiosas (Murilo Mendes; Dora Ferreira da Silva). Na contemporaneidade, os perfis de Orfeu continuam seu périplo pela poesia brasileira, em obras recentes de Adriano Espínola (Praia provisória, 2006), Geraldo Carneiro (Balada do impostor, 2006) ou Rodrigo Petronio (Venho de um país selvagem, 2009). A partir de tais obras tentar-se-á dar um corpo (embora metamórfico) ao contraditório Orfeu.

Hibridismo cultural: o imaginário europeu na construção da sexualidade feminina do primeiro século de colonização brasileira

The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the conceptions of sexuality and female sexual behavior and conduct, formed from the merger of information and securities purchased under the eyes, rules and guidelines established relations with the Holy Office during his visit to Inquisitorial Brazil in the late sixteenth century. It is a survey of historical methodology in which we used as the exploratory research and literature. The first structure was based on Brazilian sexual alliance between Indians and settlers, which led to sugar, by the Portuguese, the customs of the land, which included sexual practices free since the Indians were out of Christian influence. Supported by the absence of white women, the settlers took them wives of the earth, usually more than one, creating conflict with the Jesuits who condemned Indian polygamy. In this context, in 1591, landed on Brazilian soil Heitor Furtado de Mendonca, and with it, the First Visitation of the Holy Office to investigate, arguing, exploring feelings and behaviors, to discover the true facts, finally, to demonstrate the errors Faith and punish them with the rigor of ecclesiastical law.
