A década de 1950 foi marcada por inúmeras transformações, sociais, políticas e econômicas, decorrentes da industrialização em curso no Brasil. Alguns setores da sociedade, como as elites políticas e um grupo de intelectuais, sentiram a necessidade de pensar as políticas educacionais entendendo o processo educacional como dimensão essencial da realidade brasileira por meio de publicações de numerosos trabalhos. Assim, foi criado no dia 14 de julho de 1955, o ISEB (Instituto Superior de Estudos Brasileiros), ainda no governo Café Filho, mas iniciou suas atividades no mandato de Juscelino Kubitschek. Era um instituto ligado ao Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC), porém gozava de autonomia administrativa e seus integrantes possuíam liberdade de pesquisa. Tinha como objetivo ser um local de estudos e debates para discutir o desenvolvimento do Brasil. Eram reflexões voltadas para o âmbito das Ciências Sociais como: Economia, Filosofia, Sociologia, História e Política, e a partir delas, buscava-se instaurar o debate, dialogar com a sociedade mediante palestras em institutos importantes na época e ainda, conferências em São Paulo, patrocinadas pelo Centro da Federação das Indústrias (FIESP). Seus trabalhos principais foram: a publicação de livros, artigos, jornais e a realização de conferências, além de São Paulo, em outras cidades, como Brasília e Rio de Janeiro. Por ser constituído de intelectuais de diferentes vertentes ideológicas, emergiam muitos atritos de ideias, o que, consequentemente, provocou várias crises dentro do instituto. Alguns, como Hélio Jaguaribe, defendiam que a instauração de um processo de desenvolvimento teria como direção a burguesia industrial. Em face do exposto, esta pesquisa investigou o papel pedagógico do ISEB, por meio da análise de suas publicações e dos cursos por ele ministrados. A proposta se deu no sentido de compreender seus dois momentos: o primeiro, durante o governo de Juscelino Kubitschek, e o segundo, no governo de João Goulart, buscando qualificar ideológica e pedagogicamente cada um deles. O estudo evidenciou que o ISEB possuía uma dimensão pedagógica, a qual, apesar de não estar descrita em seu estatuto, encontrava-se implícita em suas publicações, cursos e palestras.

Este estudo tem a finalidade de contribuir para a compreensão da concepção de docência que se articulou em um dos espaços de uma das maiores universidades brasileiras, a Universidade de São Paulo, ou seja, o Instituto de Química, conhecido como IQ-USP. Nessa perspectiva, o IQ-USP é, portanto, destacado como o objeto de estudo desta pesquisa, uma vez que sua história se entrelaça com a própria criação da Universidade e seu paradigma científico está centrado no perfil de análise determinado por este trabalho: a área de conhecimento das ciências exatas. Partindo do pressuposto que a concepção de como se deve constituir o ensino superior está intrinsecamente relacionada com a visão de mundo, de conhecimento e de educação elaborada pela própria trajetória histórica da universidade, mas também pelas relações que esta estabelece com a comunidade, durante todo o seu processo de ação , é possível dizer que tais crenças e valores, selecionados e hierarquizados pela comunidade acadêmica, acabam por intervir na formação específica de seus professores. Destaca-se, assim, sob o olhar da pesquisa qualitativa, o estudo a respeito da trajetória de formação do profissional docente que se constitui ao longo da história da própria Universidade em que esse está inserido e que subsidia a sua concepção de ser docente. Nessa perspectiva, alguns autores trazem muitas contribuições para o esclarecimento da concepção de docência implícita na formação do professor universitário e seus reflexos na prática docente cotidiana. Entre estes autores, destacamos o pensamento de Paschoal Senise (2006), Maria Isabel da Cunha (2007), Heladio César G. Antunha (1974) e J. Gimeno Sacristán (1998 e 1999). A coleta de dados foi realizada utilizando-se documentos históricos e informativos, como também entrevistas semi-estruturadas, em uma abordagem sempre qualitativa, uma vez que esta nos fornece melhores condições de entendimento dos aspectos subjetivos de que se reveste a problemática da pesquisa. Fundamentado nos dados levantados e analisados à luz da contribuição teórica dos autores referenciados neste trabalho, reforçamos a conclusão de que a instituição faz o profissional, evidenciando-se na formação do docente do IQ-USP a tradição e a inovação, dialeticamente, caminhando juntas.(AU)

Pesquisa qualitativa que tem como objetivos: identificar indicadores que geram prazer e sofrimento nos enfermeiros dentro do ambiente hospitalar, analisar quais são os sentimentos vivenciados por estes profissionais e verificar quais são os principais mecanismos de defesa utilizados. O estudo contou com a participação de oito enfermeiros de diferentes setores hospitalares, em dois hospitais da região central de São Paulo. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre Novembro de 2010 e Fevereiro de 2011, realizada por meio da técnica de entrevista semidirigida com temas norteadores, cujo conteúdo foi registrado por meio de um gravador de voz e transcrito posteriormente. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada a técnica de análise de conteúdo com o respaldo teórico das contribuições da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho e Psicologia Institucional. Das entrevistas foram desveladas cinco categorias analíticas: o prazer no trabalho do enfermeiro, o sofrimento no trabalho do enfermeiro, os sentimentos negativos, os sentimentos positivos, e os sentimentos ambivalentes. Estas categorias agregaram as subcategorias: trabalho gratificante, trabalho estressante, amizade, raiva, dor, medo, inferioridade, frustração, tristeza, culpa e apego. As subcategorias por sua vez, desdobraram-se em indicadores temáticos que expressaram os mais diversos fatores que produzem prazer e sofrimento no trabalho dos enfermeiros, bem como a ambigüidade de sentimentos vivenciados por estes profissionais. Sentimentos que variaram de um momento para o outro, sendo que, aquilo que causava dificuldades no atendimento da necessidade de ajudar e sentir-se útil, implicou em sofrimento, o que facilitou ou tornou viável as necessidades, constituíram em prazer no trabalho. Mecanismos de defesa foram utilizados pelos enfermeiros com o intuito de protegê-los, no entanto, ocultavam da consciência a causa implícita do sofrimento. Os resultados possibilitaram ampliar o universo de conhecimento da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho e Psicologia Institucional na área da enfermagem, demonstrando os processos psíquicos e sociais que circundam os significados de trabalho para o ser humano, encontrando possíveis soluções para elaboração e superação do sofrimento, e melhorando a saúde psíquica dos enfermeiros em seu cotidiano dinâmico de trabalho.

Apesar das campanhas de combate à violência de gênero e a legislação elaborada para promover o aumento da segurança de mulheres envolvidas pelo fenômeno, trabalhos realizados demonstram que muitas mulheres agredidas por seus companheiros, mesmo após tentativa de separação, retornam a conviver com os agressores. Com base nessas informações, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi estudar a estrutura e a dinâmica do funcionamento psíquico de cinco mulheres envolvidas em violência conjugal reiterada. Trata-se de um estudo clínico-qualitativo, cujas participantes foram selecionadas por conveniência e fazem parte de um grupo de mulheres vítimas de violência conjugal, atendidas por uma organização não governamental, com processos em trâmite numa Vara Criminal da Grande São Paulo. Utilizou-se como instrumentos de investigação um Roteiro de Entrevista semiestruturado; a Escala da Associação Brasileira de Institutos de Pesquisa de Mercado (ABIPEME); e o Teste de Relações Objetais de Phillipson (TRO). Os resultados apontam que as participantes apresentam ego fragilizado, pouco integrado e superego rígido, pouco indistinguível de seus impulsos destrutivos e de seus perseguidores internos, resultado de introjeções e deflexões para o exterior carentes. Essa dinâmica mental se desenvolveu a partir de processos primários de cisão muito violentos, com predominância de impulsos destrutivos e da pulsão de morte sobre a pulsão de vida. Ademais, percebeu-se que as participantes se mantém predominantemente na fase esquizo-paranóide do desenvolvimento, sem conseguir alcançar de forma adequada a posição depressiva de reparação, assim, elas utilizam de mecanismos primitivos de defesa para manterem o equilíbrio psíquico como: a identificação projetiva, a negação, a idealização e a paralização. Espera-se que os resultados desta pesquisa possam auxiliam na elaboração de propostas de atendimento a mulheres em situação de violência conjugal reiterada.

O número de catadores, caminhoneiros e trabalhadores informais que utilizam o trabalho com o lixo como forma de sobrevivência cresce em todo país. Sabe-se que esse tipo de trabalho oferece vários riscos à saúde física: no entanto, há poucos estudos sobre os efeitos que pode ocasionar na saúde mental. Diante disso, o presente estudo, de caráter exploratório, teve como objetivo compreender o sofrimento psíquico decorrente do trabalho de manuseio e triagem de resíduos sólidos recicláveis em trabalhadores de uma corporativa de reciclagem da região metropolitana de São Paulo. O referencial teórico utilizado foi a Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, disciplina clínica e teórica que se sustenta na descrição e no conhecimento das relações entre trabalho e saúde mental. Utilizou-se também o método específico da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, regido pelos princípios da pesquisa-ação, que liga a intervenção à pesquisa. A coleta de dados se deu através da criação de um grupo de expressão, em que foram abordadas questões ligadas às vivências e experiências dos trabalhadores que manuseiam resíduos sólidos recicláveis. A análise dos dados mostra que a organização do trabalho neste caso torna-se pano de fundo para a problemática do sofrimento psíquico, uma vez que, na cooperativa, os trabalhadores têm certo controle sobre a realização da tarefa, podendo interferir no processo de trabalho. Constatou-se ainda que o sofrimento psíquico decorrente do trabalho assume diversas formas: a negação do risco à saúde física decorrente da precariedade e insalubridade do trabalho, que se concretiza pela não-utilização dos equipamentos de segurança (EPI) e por maus hábitos de higiene: a negação da dificuldade em manusear o lixo, pela busca de vantagens na atividade realizada que ajudem a suportar o contato com o que é sujo e desvalorizado e pela luta para manter-se no trabalho, que proporciona a cooperação entre os sujeitos - sendo a solidariedade e a cooperação as características mais marcantes nas relações entre esses trabalhadores. Entende-se que o trabalho realizado tem grande importância social, mas é preciso atentar para o fato de que o problema da destinação do lixo não pode superar a problemática dos efeitos sobre a saúde dos trabalhadores. Esse quadro só poderá ser alterado com melhores condições de trabalho e, principalmente, com o reconhecimento da atividade como algo fundamental para a sociedade e que, como tal, deve ser valorizado.(AU)

O presente estudo teve por objetivos: a) investigar conteúdos da psicodinâmica dos adolescentes infratores; b) descrever a percepção das interações afetivo-relacionais dos adolescentes em relação à figura paterna. Para isso foram estudados seis casos de adolescentes que cometeram infração e que cumprem medidas sócioeducativas, sendo cinco deles com 17 anos e um com 14 anos. Esses adolescentes freqüentavam o CEDECA (Centro de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente) da cidade de Mauá (São Paulo), local onde os dados foram coletados. Foram utilizados como instrumentos o Procedimento de Desenho-Estória com Tema e entrevista semi-estruturada. A aplicação do procedimento foi feita com base nas seguintes instruções: desenhe um adolescente de Mauá e desenhe o pai de um adolescente de Mauá e, após cada desenho, foi pedido que o adolescente contasse uma história sobre o mesmo. De um modo geral, os resultados mostraram que o primitivismo e esteve presente na produção dos seis adolescentes, visto a presença de mecanismos de defesa como idealização, negação, cisão e outros mecanismos de defesa esquizóides. Também ficou evidente que a dificuldade de crescimento e evolução da personalidade, assim como a conduta anti-social estão associadas à qualidade da introjeção da figura paterna e a relação que estes adolescentes estabelecem com ela. Concluiu-se que o modo como se dá o desenvolvimento psíquico é fator determinante para que indivíduo seja levado á conduta delituosa. Por isso, são necessários mais estudos sobre a personalidade de adolescentes em conflito com a lei, para que o conhecimento científico possa contribuir em ações no âmbito familiar, bem como em programas de prevenção primária e secundária que possam dar condições de um bom desenvolvimento psíquico às pessoas antes que cheguem à adolescência e à idade adulta.

The concept analysis process carefully examines the description and uses of a word or term, enabling the standardization of language, in addition to providing representation to the profession, and facilitate the work of taxonomies. The aim of the study was to analyze the concept of nursing diagnosis ineffective self-health in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Study concept analysis, based on Walker and Avant model and operationalized through integrative literature review. The databases searched were: SCOPUS, CINAHL, PUBMED, LILACS and COCHRANE, with descriptors: Selfmanagement, Adherence and Hemodialysis. The inclusion criteria were: articles published in the last five years, complete articles are available free in selected databases; articles available in Portuguese, English or Spanish; and articles that address the self-concept of health, the antecedents and the consequent. And Exclusion: editorials, letters to the editor, theses and dissertations. The survey of the articles occurred in the months from January to March 2014. The initial sample of 16785 articles, with 11748 in PUBMED, 4767 in Scopus, 174 in CINAHL, the Cochrane 70 and 26 in LILACS. After applying the criteria, 76 articles were selected, 19 in CINAHL, 18 in PUBMED, 30 in Scopus, and 9 in LILACS. In analyzing the data, given that the concept was sought in the literature was self-health, was held interpretation to ineffective self-health diagnosis through the transposition in the denial of the attributes, antecedents and consequences identified. It is noteworthy that the terms identified in the literature as defining characteristics and related factors of the diagnosis under study were added to the survey, not even the transposition into opposite term is possible. The results show that the concept developed for the inefficient self-health diagnosis was: the patient's inability to control habits and achieve the negotiated with professionals therapeutic targets, resulting in health complications. 33 antecedents relating to social, psychological and therapeutic aspects and 16 consequential, involving physiological, social, psychological and therapeutic aspects were identified. Thus, it is concluded that the ineffective self-health concept is broad and involves individual patient factors and the therapeutic relationship between patient and professionals. It is believed that the study contributed to the improvement of diagnosis in renal clientele, besides being an important base for the growth of the scientific body of nursing, subsidizing the development of own technology area

This research aims to make a reflective analysis about the academic production originated in the stricto sensu post graduation programs in the country, produced in the period of 1990 to 2010, in the field of History of Mathematics, especifically on works about the History of Mathematics in Mathematics education and that present pedagogical proposals that make use of the History of Mathematics in order to teach Mathematics. Defending the thesis that the researches on mathematics education with goals turned to the use of didactic proposals related to the history of mathematic that take in consideration the coherency between epistemological aspects inherent to mathematics history and anthological elements materialized on the conceptions of mathematics and mathematics history and of apprenticeship (implicitly or explicitly exposed) may originate significant contribution to the field of history of mathematics on education. Among these, nine were Master’s Degree dissertations and five PHD’s theses. The reflective analysis was accomplished from two matrixes; one from theoretical nature and the other, ontologic nature, elaborated from the pretexts of Sanches Gamboa, about the epistemological analysis from academic production in the field of Mathematics Education and the following theoretical perspectives in the field of History of Mathematics Education, that are: linear evolutionary theory, structural construtivist operative, evolutionary discontinuous, historical and socialcultural investigation and the use of activities estimulating the usage of verbal and nonverbal expressions. These perspectives were based on the works of Miguel and Miorim, Mendes and Radford. As results, we have detected some established dissonances between the categories related to theoretical and ontologic levels and the pedagogical proposal presented in these researches. On the other hand, we have discovered works that are able to establish consonances between the theoretical and ontological elements and the presented pedagogical proposal. These works carry significative contributions to the field of History of Mathematics applied to Mathematics pedagogical practice, inclusively presenting significative theoretical elements to the production of knowledge recognized as scientific in the Mathematics field

Jaques Lacan, the thinker who proposes a return to the fundamentals of psychoanalysis in Freud states that the math would face as a privileged way of transmission of knowledge by the science. Although he was a follower of the mathematization of nature as the foundation of modern science, for him this principle does not imply eliminating the subject that produces it. That would be equivalent to saying that there can not be a language, whatever, even the math, that may "erases" the subject assumption in science. In the text The science and the truth we will try to introduce the idea, not so simple, by the way, the truth as the cause. Citing the framework of the causes in Aristotle, Lacan will speak of a homology between the truth as formal cause, in the case of science, and the truth as material cause, on the side of psychoanalysis. Among its aims with this text, he wants to establish that the unconscious of the subject would be none other than the subject of science. The famous incompleteness theorems of logical-mathematical Kurt Gödel enter here as a chapter of this issue. Recognized as true watershed, these theorems have to be remembered as revealing even outside the mathematical environment, and Lacan himself is not indifferent to this. He makes mention of Gödel's name and draws some observations apparently modest support for his own theory. Since some technical sophisticated knowledges awaits the reader who intends understand this supposed corroboration that Gödel provides to psychoanalysis, introduce the student of Lacan in the use he makes of the incompleteness theorems is the objective of this work. In The science and the truth, which fits us to locate the name of Gödel, one must question how seize such an idea without incurring the extrapolation and abuse of mathematical knowledge, almost trivial in this case. Thus, this paper aims to introduce the reader to the reasoning behind the theorems of Gödel, acquaint him about the Lacan’s mathematical claims, and indicate how to proceed using this implicit math in the text The science and the truth.

During over seven decades of institutionalizing the national heritage protection legal instrument it can be noticed the many ways of the instrument application, according to the approaches that were assigned to the spaces with heritage values and the dynamic of the elaborated thoughts within this theme. For the application of the instrument effectively, there is a long process that is carried out. This process begins with the study elaboration that aims to subsidize and justify the motivation of property protection, as well as the proposal of buffer zones and national protection areas delimitations, completing the process with the denial of the request or with the publication of the definitive national protection area at the Official Gazette. Starting with the relation between the existing heritage values identification into the historical centres and the definition of its protection areas that the area management will be done, based as well into the management intervention norms established for the protection area perimeter. From this context, the present essay has as porpoise to discuss the approach used for the identification and selection of a historical centre liable for national protection and the repercussion of this identification into the national protection area the was established, using a case study of the national protection of the historical centre of the city of Natal. Starting from the assumption that there are inconsistences and distortions about the text speech of the written document and the spatial delimitation of this document, motivated by an area that privileges the edifications rather than the urban space. Beginning with the urban history methodology, we are based on the precepts of Rossi (2011), Lamas (2010) and Cullen (2009) for that space reading, along with what Sant’Anna (2004) defines as “city-document” to make a new reading of this “heritage value space” verifying if the proposed protection area reflects what is defined as motivation for the national protection area process during the recognizing process. Therefore, it is concluded that it is essential that the buffer zones and the national protection areas are aligned with the text presented at the national protection area instruction, so the norms and criteria definition management process are established. We highlight that a site management and the identified values protection become very difficult without a specific law that beacon the decisions that should be taken.

This dissertation analyses the Brazilian Supreme Court’s judgement in the Non-compliance Action of the Fundamental Precept 132/RJ and in the Direct Action of Unconstitutionality 4277/DF, which created in the country the same-sex civil union. In This decision, the STF interpreted according to the constitution Article 1.723 of the Civil Code, invoking several fundamentals reaffirmed in the Constitution. From all these laws invoked by the Supreme Court to support the pretorian creation, the content of consitutional Law regarding equality is the only that corresponds, and it is sufficient to evidence the necessity of the creation, by legislator, of the institute for civil rights, since the Constitution forbids distinctions that is not expressly provided for in the Constitution (Art. 3º, IV, of Federal Constitution). In this way, Article 226, § 3º is not an exception capable of satisfying the condition of the consitutional foresight because although it protect, according its content only the civil union “between the man and the woman”, it is not able to forbid the creation, by legislator, of another kinds of families, including the same-sex civil union. As such, the reasoning, now legitimate according to the legislator, is not support the creation of institute by Constitutional Court, because the Court may enforce the Law, interpreting in the purviews allowed by the legal text and its constitutionality. In regard to the civil union of individuos of the same sex, the Court could not deduce that such union was implied by Law, like the interpretation according to the Constitution given by judges, on grounds of semantic purviews of the words man and woman, existents in both articles. The Court could not created it either, exceeding the legal system role. So, upon the institute creation, the STF, exceeded two limits: the interpretation and Law enforcement.

The main thesis to be demonstrated in this work is that cognitive enhancement through the use of drugs can be included as a primary good within Rawls' thinking. To develop such notion, the text is structured in two parts. The first part intends to describe the theory of justice as equity in its elements directly related to primary goods. The first information to be verified is the unity of the notion of primary goods in all of Rawls' work. Some elements are modified, for example the distinction of natural and social primary goods. Natural primary goods are intelligence, health, imagination, vigor and chance (luck) and social primary goods are law and liberty, opportunity and power, income and wealth and the social fundaments of self-respect. The perception of some talents such as intelligence has also undergone changes, being altered from "higher intelligence" to "educated intelligence". Such fact highlights education as a primary good that permeates all of Rawls' work in different perspectives. Freedom and self-respect are social-primary goods that will also be deepened. The second part presents the definition of improvement and as to show that the distinction between enhancement and treatment is controversial. What we have done in this thesis is to show how cognitive enhancement is important to ensure that primary products are accessible to citizens, and we rebuilt the process that Rawls uses for choosing his primary goods to test that cognitive enhancement through drugs could perfectly be introduced as such.

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) has succeeded in accessing mental phenomena hardly exposed through self-report and explicit measures well known in the traditional studies on psychology. Although this measurement technique is among the most consistent in international publications, the few articles in Brazil have not deepened on theoretical issues that underlie the practice. This created a gap between the spread of this measure in the country and the production seen in international laboratories, both at quantitative and qualitative terms. In this context, the online labs implemented in several countries, including Brazil, created unique opportunities to overcome these disparities. Our work sought theoretical and conceptual clarification, contextualized to the historical development of the IAT and its online version, displaying affordably an unprecedented presentation of the virtual tool adapted to the Brazilian public. In a second step, we investigated empirically the data obtained by the Brazilian electronic portal "Countries", analyzing the degree of implicit and explicit nationalism of 2271 Brazilian subjects collected from early 2009 to late 2014. Our goal was to determine whether the data results obtained in a time of major sporting confrontation (FIFA World Cup 2010 and 2014) differ from periods when the tournament did not happen. Analyzes showed differences on the eve of the sporting confrontation, when the increase in the implicit nationalism was clearly superior, even with no effect by self-reports. In an independent analysis of a cultural context, there is an oscillation of explicit nationalism over the years, but not for the implicit action. In addition, it was found in women greater degree of implicit and explicit nationalism than in men, with both sexes presenting their preferences towards Brazil. We propose that the intensification of the group preference on the eve of the competition has as its ancestral function strengthen the cohesion of the group in preparation to confrontational situations. We pointed out the need for studies on the differences between the sexes in matters relating to group membership belonging. It was expected largest nationalist attitudes in men reflecting the maintenance of cohesive groups in ancient societies. Thus, it appears a singular importance impart the traditional TAI studies with its online version for future investigations of human behavior in various areas of knowledge.

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) has succeeded in accessing mental phenomena hardly exposed through self-report and explicit measures well known in the traditional studies on psychology. Although this measurement technique is among the most consistent in international publications, the few articles in Brazil have not deepened on theoretical issues that underlie the practice. This created a gap between the spread of this measure in the country and the production seen in international laboratories, both at quantitative and qualitative terms. In this context, the online labs implemented in several countries, including Brazil, created unique opportunities to overcome these disparities. Our work sought theoretical and conceptual clarification, contextualized to the historical development of the IAT and its online version, displaying affordably an unprecedented presentation of the virtual tool adapted to the Brazilian public. In a second step, we investigated empirically the data obtained by the Brazilian electronic portal "Countries", analyzing the degree of implicit and explicit nationalism of 2271 Brazilian subjects collected from early 2009 to late 2014. Our goal was to determine whether the data results obtained in a time of major sporting confrontation (FIFA World Cup 2010 and 2014) differ from periods when the tournament did not happen. Analyzes showed differences on the eve of the sporting confrontation, when the increase in the implicit nationalism was clearly superior, even with no effect by self-reports. In an independent analysis of a cultural context, there is an oscillation of explicit nationalism over the years, but not for the implicit action. In addition, it was found in women greater degree of implicit and explicit nationalism than in men, with both sexes presenting their preferences towards Brazil.
