Proposta de gerenciamento operacional para a Estação de Tratamento de Esgoto: estudo da ETE Sideral, Belém-PA

No presente trabalho é proposto gerenciamento operacional da Estação de Tratamento de Esgoto Sideral, município de Belém, estado do Pará. Para isso, foi utilizado método de gerenciamento denominado gerenciamento da rotina que objetiva gerenciar um processo principal, por meio da definição de fluxogramas, onde são determinadas atividades e itens de controle, que organizam o processo. No trabalho são analisadas: as condições físicas das unidades e a suas influências no tratamento proposto em proposto; a forma de gerenciamento atual da ETE, para então ser elaborada a proposta de gerenciamento operacional. A proposta definiu o processo principal, o tratamento de esgoto, seus subprocessos, os tratamentos preliminar e secundário, para os quais foram definidas atividades operacionais como, limpeza das unidades, monitoramentos laboratorial e operacional e itens de controle, como planilhas de dados. Também foi proposta a elaboração de sistema de controle da dados e informações para ETE, bem como a rotina de decisões gerenciais e de operação para a ETE Sideral.

A gestão de resíduos sólidos urbanos no município de Belém: uma análise do gerenciamento e da possibilidade de geração de renda através da reciclagem de resíduos sólidos (1997/2010)

Essa dissertação aborda a gestão de resíduos sólidos urbanos domiciliares em Belém, seu tratamento e a possibilidade de geração de renda através da reciclagem de resíduos sólidos. Com o intuito de entender a gestão de resíduos sólidos e um mercado de reciclagem na cidade Belém essa dissertação analisou a atual estrutura de gestão de resíduos e o trabalho de coleta seletiva realizado pela Prefeitura Municipal de Belém (PMB). Também serão objetos de estudo nesse trabalho a Legislação que trata sobre questões especificas dos resíduos sólidos, estabelecida com a Política de Resíduos Sólidos, através do Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente (CONAMA) na qual destacamos, a atual Política Nacional de Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos. Partiu-se do pressuposto de que em Belém a diferença entre resíduos gerados e resíduos introduzidos no processo de reciclagem é muito grande, dessa forma a produtividade dos processos de reciclagem é insuficiente. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir de dados da Secretaria Estadual de Meio Ambiente (SEMA), da Secretaria Municipal de Saneamento (SESAN), da Secretaria Municipal de Coordenação e Gestão de Projetos (SEGEP) e do Departamento Municipal de Resíduos Sólidos (DRES), assim como, por meio da aplicação de questionários e entrevistas com agentes envolvidos na cadeia de reciclagem. A partir da analise realizada para a dissertação constatou-se que a gestão de resíduos na cidade ainda é deficiente, a pesquisa realizada mostra que há apenas dois bairros de Belém atendidos pela coleta seletiva domiciliar, que o aterro sanitário da cidade está funcionando com sua capacidade de suporte exaurida e que dessa forma a prefeitura municipal esta muito longe de enquadrar-se nos padrões da nova Política Nacional de Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos (PNRS.

Processo de desenvolvimento e coordenação de projetos na construção civil: um estudo multi-caso em empresas de Belém (PA)

Este trabalho faz uma reflexão sobre a coordenação de projetos na indústria da construção de edifícios, identifica as etapas do processo de projeto, aponta a participação da equipe de projeto, durante as atividades de coordenação, apresenta a atuação do coordenador de projetos e sistematiza os procedimentos de controle e retroalimentação. Para desenvolver a pesquisa, foram realizados estudos bibliográficos sobre a Gestão e Coordenação de Projetos, no desenvolvimento do processo de projeto na construção civil. Também foram feitos estudos de campo, envolvendo 10 empresas de construção civil na área urbana da cidade de Belém-PA, com atuação nos mercados de incorporação e/ou construção de obras privadas ou públicas, visando propor diretrizes da gestão de projetos, integrada ao processo de desenvolvimento e coordenação dos mesmos. Como resultado, vimos que 100% das empresas pesquisadas afirmou que o planejamento técnico do projeto é dividido por etapas, conforme apresentação de fluxogramas distintos. 77,77% das empresas em questão respondeu que realiza a coordenação de projetos através de reuniões com as equipes responsáveis. Também 100% das empresas aponta como funções do coordenador de projetos a compatibilização entre os projetos e a manutenção do fluxo de informações entre os projetistas. Em 88,88% das empresas, foi possível observar que a retroalimentação do projeto acontece através do controle por meio de check list e planilhas. Por fim, são desenvolvidas e apresentadas diretrizes para aplicação da coordenação de projeto, como forma de melhorar o desempenho do desenvolvimento do processo de projeto e a execução dos edifícios, com a valorização do projeto e conseqüente economia de recursos, tempo e dinheiro, evitando erros, desperdício e trabalho nos empreendimentos.

Potencial geoparque de Uberaba (MG): geodiversidade e geoconservação

Uberaba municipality, Western Minas Gerais State, has a great geotouristic potential, regarding its geological heritage. The igneous rocks from Serra Geral Formation are found in 12 points, highlighting Ponte Alta (40 meters) and Peirópolis III (7 meters) waterfalls. The sedimentary rocks from Uberaba Formation were described in 11 points, especially Giovane Cave and Waterfall (12 meters). In Marilia Formation sedimentary rocks, the Caieira outcrop (three-meter cave with stalactites and stalagmites) and Vale Encantado Waterfall (8 meters) can be pointed out, among other 8 spots. After the geodiversity assessment, an environmental diagnosis was conducted throughout the potential geotourism attractions, by using the Visitor Impact Management Method. The results indicate that only Vale Encantado Waterfall presents a moderate impact, the least when compared to 22 other sites, exhibiting high or worrisome impact, and 7 with very high impact. In addition to setting the management strategies, and monitoring the environmental impact indicators, this work provides the basis so that activities in the potential Geopark of Uberaba (MG) can be conducted with environmental responsibility and / or geoconservation.

Equipes virtuais: um estudo de caso de implantação de um sistema na América Latina

Estudo de caso que apresenta um projeto internacional de implantação de novos processos de negócios com suporte de sistemas de informação em empresa multinacional norte-americana com utilização de equipes virtuais sediadas em São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Bogotá e Cidade do México. A metodologia utilizada o desenvolvimento deste artigo constituiu-se de levantamento bibliográfico e coleta, agrupamento e análise de dados. Este projeto teve três fatores-chave na sua execução: primeiro, foi a seleção, disponibilização e uso das tecnologias adequadas; o segundo fator, a comunicação, com Plano de Comunicação desenvolvido em parceria com a Área de Marketing da empresa; e o terceiro fator, a gestão de pessoas, atribuindo prioridade aos aspectos culturais, como: idioma, feriados, horário de trabalho e rotinas locais. O costumeiro atraso dos participantes para as reuniões de progresso do projeto foi um dos maiores obstáculos superados no curso do projeto.

Proposta de estruturação do departamento de custos de uma empresa de construção civil de médio porte

This work consists of a literature review of technical project management with a focus on cost management in order to establish concepts and build a theoretical basis for later perform a case study of a construction company. All of the literature review is based on best practices in project management from the Project Management Institute - PMI, among other bibliographies that use the same concepts. The case study covers issues such as area of expertise, constructions undertaken, methodologies, procedures, assumptions, allowing to understand how the company operates in the market and, especially, which interfaces with the cost department in company processes. Confronting the knowledge gained from the literature review of the concepts of PMI and the information obtained from the case study on the current situation of the management costs of the company, it was possible to identify some gaps in the company processes of cost management and thus propose the solution of creating a centralized functional area focused on cost, that is responsible for ensuring that best practices in project management, specifically costs, are being applied

Análise do gerenciamento de projetos de produtos na área de desenvolvimento de motores em uma indústria automotiva

L'un des facteurs nécessaires pour qu’une entreprise reste compétitive sur le marché est la création ou l'amélioration d'un produit afin qu’il réponde aux besoins et aux attentes des clients, ainsi, le Processus de Développement de Produits (PDP) est essentiel. Pour la réussite du PDP, il est souhaitable de suivre un système standard de gestion de projet. L'objectif de cette étude est d'analyser la gestion de projets dans le processus de développement de produits dans l'industrie automobile afin d'identifier les possibilités d’amélioration. Par conséquent, nous avons procédé à une revue de littérature sur le sujet, analysé les lignes directrices et les pratiques du processus de développement de produit dans l’entreprise. Comme résultat, il a été obtenu que le système de développement de produits créé par l’entreprise requiert la clarification des outils utiles à la gestion de projet. Planejamento do projeto de adequação de segurança de máquinas numa multinacional produtora de absorventes descartáveis

Currently, more and more processing activities within companies are seen as projects. Project management, as a theory, is well developed and is accepted today in the market as a required competency for organizations. Various methods and techniques have been developed covering all aspects of a project, from conception to final delivery of the products produced by the same. The overall objective of the study is to report the experience of developing the project planning for the machine safety adequacy in robotic cells pallet manufacturers, demonstrating the importance of knowledge in the area of project management for the productive sector, and focusing on the difficulties encountered in particular project. Thus was developed the scope management by a team composed of different areas of engineering, and implementation strategy of the project was chosen from the tool BVOA, with the possible subsequent definition of the project schedule. Furthermore, the risk planning was analyzed using FMECA tool that predicts and mitigates potential failures. It is concluded that the constant and direct relationship between the different stakeholders generates more efficient results, reaching the demands of the project. The definition of alternatives for implementation enabled the viability of the project, and the study of failures was positive to enrich the analysis of planning

PGCP - Plataforma para Gerenciamento Colaborativo de Projetos

Collaborative Systems are designed to support individuals in order to solve a problem together, or cooperatively (or collaboratively). Such systems have the advantage of not requiring the presence in the same location of the participants. The basis of any Collaborative System is communication, where users interact with each other in order to exchange information. Communication among individuals is accomplished through collaborative tools such as chat, email, document repository, etc.. Using these tools, companies can reduce operational costs, saving on travel and accommodation of its employees to attend meetings. The project members only need a computer with internet access to use collaborative tools. Project management is essential to the quality of the nal product. To perform a proper management, methodologies must be applied using methods, tools and procedures. There are some phases that are considered generic for all software process models, they are: de nition, development, maintenance and activity to support the software process. In this paper is described a platform for project management using the concepts and features of Collaborative Systems. The goal of this platform is to unify various collaborative tools (such as chat and document repository) in a project management system. Using the system, it becomes possible to manage projects, and the ability to maintain an active constant communication between members of each project

Análise da implantação do TPM em uma empresa do ramo farmacêutico

Through observation of the production process industries today, one can encounter the needs of the large uncertainties related improvements and changes in the production environment, a fact that inspired the search for solutions that can respond quickly to these changes. Thus, this paper describes the review of implementation of TPM (total productivity management), which aims to optimize two distinct processes in the Vale do Paraíba´s pharmaceutical industry one of through the pillar of specific improvement. The main objective is to propose an efficient alternative to proposing loss management processes by identifying and eliminating the same in a systematic process. To develop this analysis was necessary to explore concepts of TPM and tools that help in taking data, identification and clarification of the phenomena that cause failures in the process, which were essential to ensure the development of the analysis. The concepts covered are usually presented during an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Prospecção de novos negócios numa indústria de autopeças: diagnóstico de falhas e sugestões de ferramentas para melhoria

The growth and expansion in auto parts market are directly related to the ability of a company to innovate and gain new customers, increasing its portfolio of customers and products. For this purpose the process of prospecting for new business has become a key process in companies seeking this goal, which requires teams and structures dedicated to it. Besides counting on available resources to carry out prospecting, it is necessary to properly manage the process as a whole, whose main result is a business proposal, which may lead to closer relations with the potential client and the activation of a new business. Process failures and difficulties to formulate a commercial proposal lead to documents produced without the quality needed that makes it harder to obtain new business. The objective of this study is to evaluate the process of new businesses quotation in the auto parts industry and indicate opportunities for improving this process. This goal is achieved by mapping the current process, from the diagnosis of problems and the indication of tools that can prevent or minimize the problems diagnosed. The information supporting this study were obtained by the bibliographical research, participant observation of the process, unstructured interviews with some of the involved people in the process and prospecting tools that can improve it. It results the mapping of new business quotation process, the points indicated as failures and difficulties in the process and the appointment of project management tools that can bring improvements to the new business proposals and pointing the moment for your application in the process

Análise dos problemas de comunicação permeados pela cultura organizacional e estrutura de gestão de projetos em uma empresa na área da construção

In a supplier of building products were identified difficulties in communication between the Product Development area and other areas of the company that could spoil projects and processes. The process of product development is important in placing the company in the market, and through research and planning, design new products and seek to comply with the costumer in relation to deadlines, quality and cost-effective. The development of a product involves many areas in the company and communication is essential in this process. The goal of this study was to identify possible communication problems permeated by organizational culture and structure of project management working in the company. A survey was applied using a Likert scale in three different areas of the company, with questions including the topics: communication, culture and organizational structure of project management and subsequently conducted the median test and the Spearman test to analysis of responses. With the understanding and analysis of the survey it was confirmed the difficulties of communication between people and the areas of the company, besides there is an influence of the type of culture acting in the company and the current management structure of the project in a good performance of internal communication

Medidas de adequação ambiental para indústria de leite e derivados, como requisito para gestão ambiental

The society continues demonstrating its need regarding the products and services, even though it becomes increasingly value the protection of the environment. In this context, environmental management is defined as a management method that emphasizes to continuously improve results and promote sustainable development. Moreover it has as a tool the laws which provide the benchmarks and mechanisms for companies to adapt their activities in such a way that does not alter the quality of the environment. In this sense, in order to propose improvements to a dairy aiming their environmental suitability, a present study was prepared by following the production activities of the enterprise, the raising of standards and applicable legal requirements and environmental assessment for the preparation of an array of aspects and impacts with the task of identifying the most significant according to MOREIRA (2006). The results indicated that some of the impacts of high relevance are related to the generation of wastewater and solid waste, which do not have treatment and / or proper disposal and indeed require intervention for their suitability. Through, these results were drawn up proposals for actions conformation. In addition, they were proposed meeting the requirement for health and safety at work, in accordance with the standard regulations. This study has the function, therefore, propose to the company in question, an environmental management plan that ensures the protection of the environment and health of employees and consequently the improvement of production processes and products
