The industries face increasingly fierce competition, so that differentiation becomes more and more difficult. In the case of the branch of machine tool industries this scenario is aggressive, those firms face competition from around the world, which have good quality and low price. This paper aims to propose the creation of a department to promote standardization in a company of special tools. The goal was achieved from survey of theories and applications of quality management, knowledge management and standardization, done by scholars in these areas, which added the use of qualitative study resulted in a proposal that contained not only the creation of this department as possible approaches that can be applied by him. This work is limited to the study of a company that manufactures special tools of the state of São Paulo, which despite its small size and limited number of employees, also presents common situations to other companies in the field, especially with regard to the behavior employees, and present good practices that can be implemented by any company

La mission de ce rapport se trouvée dans un projet major de mise en place de la TPM dans l’usine de Biotechnologie à Huningue. Le même sera utilisé comme pilote pour les autres sites de l’entreprise. Le but spécifique de ma mission au sein de Novartis, était d’identifier les activités principales des équipes de maintenance, étudier la façon de travailler et la manière comment ils étaient renseignées dans leurs Ordres de Travail (OT). Ensuite, proposer un standard de flux de travail et façon de renseigner les OT et ainsi organiser la façon de travailler et pouvoir planifier les activités de maintenance, ayant une bonne base de données pour faire les indicateurs

Due to globalization, is increasingly common for companies to make their products more competitive. With this background, the industries seek more efficient ways to produce. This paper aims to examine the tools of Lean Manufacturing applied in an industry luminaries ,addressing the positive aspects. Were applied tools like value stream mapping, Kanban, setup reduction and 5S program. With the application of these tools obtained improvements in processes, reducing lead time from factory and reducing the cost of the luminaries

Currently the service sectors have an increasingly important role in the productive sector because they can represent a great advantage to the consumer. In this graduate work a study was conducted with the objective of process improveme nt services in the sector of technical assistance in a factory machinery and equipment. Through process mapping, through the technical blueprint, and time study were able to identify opportunities for improvement for reducing the time customer service, as well as the proposed performance indicators for the service

A company must have full knowledge and control of its operations so as to meet the market requirements and meet their production goals. Thus this paper uses the Taguchi method to extend the operational control of a cutting process by fusion of a synthetic fabric in the longitudinal direction. For process analysis and tracking of possible causes of the problem techniques of Production Engineering as the cause and effect diagram, also known as Ishikawa diagram, and design of experiments were used, the last one was applied to the design techniques of Taguchi. Finally the preparation method of understanding and design of experiment was due to the use of the software MINITAB v15 ®, which showed that the speed of rolling the fabric after cutting is crucial for controlling the entire operation

This paper aims to discuss the system of inventory management in a public university. The present paper shows the definitions, classification of materials and the advantages and disadvantages of storage, besides exposing the public procurement bidding system since the acquisition until receipt of materials to be stored. This paper presents a survey of the items stored in the warehouse and use of control tools such as ABC curve to demand flow prized for verification of critical items and idle items. Displays also a calculation for the minimum value of stock and replacement of an item in inventory and an analysis of the conditions of the warehouse layout. As a result, knowledge is acquired and a revised system of inventory management of the institution was proposed

This dissertation has as main theme the discuss about how the use of mathematical models for process optimization. The current scenario of strong competition to conquer the consumer market necessitates the development of improvements to better performance of the process as a whole, is to reduce costs, increase efficiency or effectiveness. Thus, the use of methodologies to assist in this process is becoming increasingly viable. Methodologies developed in the past are being studied and improved. An example is the Desirability, the object of the present study, which was developed in the 80's and has been improved over time. To understand and study this methodology was applied to the desirability function in three instances, where it was used Design of Experiments (DOE), taken from scientific papers, using the Solver tool (Excel ®) and desirability (Minitab ®). Thus, in addition to studying the methodology, it was possible to compare the performance of tools used for optimization in different situations. The search for better performance and competitive advantage in the current market scenario has made organizations keep their focus on quality planning and the use of effective techniques aimed at continuous improvement and optimization of processes and resources. The situation is not different for the painting process in the automotive industry, which has a significant amount of variables and influential external factors. This work, developed at General Motors in São José dos Campos, aims to analyze the feasibility of changing the painting process of the pickup S10 railings in the Antracite color located in the main line to the another line located in a Painting Repair Booth at the plant and, therefore, to study the possibility about reducing the window of cure for Antracite’s enamel by using Design of Experiments’ techniques. Applying this method is possible to find the best arrangement among studied factors of Painting Repair Booth that are, in this case, the Temperature, in Celsius degrees, and Skid’s Steps, in seconds, and it’s also possible to get their behavior according to quality requirements specified by GM rules for the Brightness and Paint Adhesion on the part. As a result, it can conclude that is possible to paint the S10 Antracite railings in the painting process’ line of Painting Repair Booth, and with the new configuration obtained by the Design of Experiments for the process variables, there are significant gains related to the parts’ quality, costs reduction and the optimization of production capacity, much in the main line as in the line of the Painting Repair Booth

The competitiveness in the industrial sector is increasingly fierce. In this context, the quality of maintenance is often neglected due to the sense of urgency that arises in these companies. Thus, it becomes increasingly necessary to use tools of Reliability Centered Maintenance to assist in managing maintenance effectively and efficiently, and directing resources .This study aims to evaluate the use of the fault tree to identify critical paths in the maintenance sector in an industry. The proposal is uses the tools of Reliability Centered Maintenance (MCC) for the collection, disposal and prioritizing causes problems in the transport industry. L’audit, c’est un outil de gestion très important pour que les organisations puissent accomplir la réussite. Selon le fait qu’il n’y a pas des modèles d’aide à l’audit, il existe une opportunité de recherche. En considerant les Méthodes d’Aide à la Décision, il y a des plusieurs type d’applications. L’objectif de la recherche c’est la proposition d’un modèle capable de sélectionner des processus pour faire l’audit dans une distributeur de carburant en considerant la prise de décision en groupe. La modélisation normative empirique c’est la méthode de recherche utilisée. Un modèle qui utilise l’Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) et la prise de décision en groupe a été proposé face aux difficultés d’un département d’Audit Interne. Le modèle proposé présente les poids des processus et permet leur priorisations dans un scénario determiné. Pour l’application de ce modèle présenté, on a utilisé cinq critères et 26 alternative (processus). L’information de jugement a été bien founi par trois spécialistes du département. Quelques rendez-vous avec les participants ont été pris pour obtenir et réviser les donnés ainsi que discuter les résultats. Les résultats obtenus par le modèle permettent d’identifier les processus qu’il faut plus d’attention. L’équipe a considéré le modèle comme une proposition d’aide à la prise de décision très pertinent pour le département d’Audit Interne

Currently the quality of a final product is as important as the price they pay for it, to the satisfaction of having something durable and exercising its function as well as has been informed. This work aims to define the stages of the process of implementing a new project in a production line in order to ensure product quality and process, defining each step with those responsible for each area of the factory, implementing new tools and methods, improving process with lessons learned from previous projects, gathering information on the production line to analyze the need for rigorous controls to prevent errors. With the definition of schedule after studies of the plant where the new project was implemented, establish the goals of each phase to ensure the quality of process and product

It was investigated how the conceptions of PT for the educational area defended in national meetings of the party have configured as policies in the City Hall of São Paulo during 1989-1992. It was made an analysis of official documents and measures adopted by the Municipal Education Secretariat. Then, it could be concluded that the priorities of implementation of the PT proposal entitled popular public school were based on four categories: Democratization of Management; New Quality of Teaching; Movement of Adult and Youth Literacy (MOVA) and Democratization Access.

In the supply chain management there are several risk factors that must be mitigated to increase the flow of production and as a possible solution the literature cites the implementation of a warehouse management system, but this subject is few explored. This thesis has as main objective the study of the implementation of a warehouse management system in a company from the automotive sector that produces clutches. As results, are shown data of the characterization of items; as well as data and comparisons between disruptions in production reports due to lack of material before and after the implementation of WMS and is presented the result of a questionnaire applied to the involved on the implementation of the system, the results were associated with the risk factors on the implementation of the system studied on the literature review, and enumeration of the results that are not associated with any factors previously studied. And finally, the study is concluded and are recommended future studies related to the theme

O Projeto de Extensão foi desenvolvido na Farmácia-Escola Prof. Dr. Antônio Alonso Martinez, que faz parte do NAC (Núcleo de Atendimento à Comunidade), pertencente à Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas da UNESP. Desenvolveu-se um Sistema de Gestão Interno para o controle das amostras grátis e medicamentos que são destinados à doação para a população de Araraquara e região. Realizou-se a orientação e conscientização da população sobre o reaproveitamento de medicamentos e amostras grátis que não seriam mais utilizados e que estavam dentro do prazo de validade. A divulgação foi efetuada com folder explicativo que foi distribuído na Farmácia-Escola, em consultórios médicos e nas faculdades da UNESP do Câmpus de Araraquara. Além disso, houve divulgação na Semana de Atenção Farmacêutica Estudantil (SAFE) e no site e jornal da EPTV. O prazo de validade de cada produto foi verificado e a dispensação desses medicamentos foi feita mediante a apresentação de prescrição médica. Além disso, realizou-se a Assistência Farmacêutica ao informar ao paciente os detalhes da posologia e possíveis interações medicamentosas, de modo a esclarecer eventuais dúvidas dos pacientes. Os medicamentos mais doados foram anti-hipertensivos e hormônios, refletindo no maior número de formas farmacêuticas doadas como sendo comprimidos e cápsulas. O objetivo da divulgação foi alcançado com o aumento de doações realizadas nos meses subsequentes ao início da mesma e com o aumento de 61,9 % em relação ao ano de 2012
