The Comando dos Trabalhadores Intelectuais (CTI) was a group, a space of organization and representation of brazilian intellectuals and artists and that, previous to the military coup in 1964, participated of the debates and fomented the inclusion of sectors of the national intelligentzia in the democratization’s process of the culture. His insertion politics, of the point of view of the effervecence lived for the organized socials movements in Brazil in the years of João Goulart’s government, bring elements to detail the dynamics of the cultural left’s organizations that had emerged of the review’s process of Brazilian Communist Party (PCB), since 1958. The relevance of CTI is confirmed when understand it like an organization that congregated many intellectuals and artists that, after of the military coup in 1964, had been presents in the artistic and cultural brazilian scene, doing resistance to the military governments that if had occurred in the next decades.

The accessibility concept has been incorporated by scientific and social environment. In this context, it is necessary to be concerned about issues of accessibility in scientific events, mainly those that approach the subject special education and that appreciate inclusion and social participation of people, regardless of the differences. This study presents text some information on accessibility in scientific congresses as well as a checklist to assist in planning events of this nature.

The Rouanet law is a tax incentive law that allows companies to invest up to 4% of their taxes - based on actual profit - in sponsoring cultural projects previously approved by the Ministry of Culture. By sponsoring these projects, companies can have their name attached to them and, consequently, strengthening their brand and increase its visibility in the market. Whereas this project is aligned to the company vision, its image will be strengthened and the sales will increase. Large companies use the Rouanet Law to sponsor cultural events and have very strong names in the Brazilian market, perhaps worldwide. Examples: Petrobras, Banco do Brasil, Banco Bradesco, BNDES, Usiminas, Vale, among others. The Public Relations professional, who’s responsible for internal and external communication of a company, can use it as a differential of his work, expanding the company's profits with minimum investments, aligning the company's vision to actual practices and using the sponsorship as an agent capable of strengthen its social responsibility and, due to that, to increase the trust of its target audience. This study will address the theoretical and practical aspects of the Rouanet Law and of the public relations professionals, beyond mentioning examples on the subject, with special attention to Petrobras, the largest sponsor of cultural projects in Brazil. The greatest problem of the Rouanet Law is the fact that its sponsored projects are mostly concentrated in the Southeast, specifically in the Rio - São Paulo region. The more popular the Act become, for most places it will spread and Brazil may, after some time, become a world reference in the Cultural point

Nos últimos anos, têm se notado a grande preocupação com relação às condições climáticas do planeta e suas implicações. As discussões sobre as mudanças climáticas têm se tornado cada vez mais relevantes à medida que as adversidades climáticas têm implicações diretas na sociedade. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar e avaliar episódios atmosféricos severos ocorridos no Estado de São Paulo no ano de 2005, elaborando posteriormente o estudo de caso do tornado ocorrido na cidade de Indaiatuba (SP). No levantamento sobre o evento atmosférico levou-se em conta a condição atmosférica que o originaram, além dos impactos ambientais e sócio-econômicos do fenômeno na sua região de abrangência. Para isso foram realizados levantamentos bibliográficos mais completos possíveis sobre o assunto, utilizando revistas credenciadas em âmbito nacional ou internacional. Logo após esta etapa foram coletados os dados de estações meteorológicas e dados atmosféricos como vento, temperatura, pressão disponibilizados pelo (NCEP) National Centers for Environmental Prediction. Estes dados atmosféricos disponibilizados pelo (NCEP) foram avaliados e analisados para a caracterização do episódio atmosférico e o cruzamento de informações por meio dos (SIGs) Sistema de Informação Geográfica, referentes à dinâmica atmosférica e topografia. A interpretação de todos os dados gerados relacionados e suas implicações no contexto ambiental e sócio-econômico está organizada em forma de uma síntese na redação final.

Com a evolução da humanidade, o homem foi ganhando habilidades das quais, a maior parte, usa para alterar seu próprio hábitat, ou seja, à medida que o homem se distanciou da natureza e começou a evoluir no seu modo de vida, passou a encará-la como uma gama de recursos disponíveis. Frente ao surgimento de tais problemas sócio-ambientais relativamente atuais, torna-se essencial em nossa sociedade a conscientização vinculada à conservação; o uso sem obter como consequência os impactos ambientais. É dentro deste contexto que este projeto de pesquisa ancora-se, tendo a questão ambiental como foco principal. Como um desafio, tornar arquitetura e a educação ambiental elementos que naturalmente se interliguem, ser um processo permanente na sociedade atual. Abolir o pensamento de que diferentes espécies de edificações, com seus diferentes usos, possam gerar conflitos quando atrelados ao conceito de educação ambiental e sua permeabilidade na sociedade. Com base nesse importante fato, surge a seguinte hipótese: se existe algum tipo de arquitetura inadequada a se implantar em um local onde a preocupação com a preservação do meio-ambiente é fator prioritário... Due to the complexity and instability of clinical conditions of ICU patients, the drug therapy applied in this type of environment requires a combination of several prescribed drugs, which is a favorable condition for drug interaction, toxic synergism and possible iatrogenia. In the possible universe of ICU occurrences, this study aimed at identifying and evaluating the incidence of adverse events in drug therapy at the Intensive Care Therapy Service (SETI) in wards I and II. It is a cross-sectional, descriptive, prospective and quantitative study conducted from August to September, 2011 in the Intensive Care Service of the Botucatu School of Medicine University Hospital - UNESP. The population consisted of fifteen clinical nurses, including those in the Improvement and Volunteer Internship Programs, who contributed to the investigation after signing an informed consent form and according to approval by the Research Ethics Committee number 10711/CE - FMB. The data were entered on a form and analyzed. Results showed that, on average, 8.9% of events/day occurred, and the highest frequency was observed on August 04, 2011. 63% and 22% were respectively observed in the morning and afternoon shifts, and 15% in the night shift. 48% of these were due to administration time errors, followed by drug prescription and dispensation errors, with percentages of 22% and 18%, respectively. Antibiotics showed the highest frequency of adverse events - 18%, which was followed by 13% for anticoagulant, 11% for antiemetic and 10% for antiulcerative drugs. As regards the occurrence of adverse events related to hospitalization time, the highest frequency occurred in patients who were hospitalized for 10 days. Concerning the ratio between reported events and the number of items in the prescription, the highest frequency of events was related to prescriptions with 20 items... Many young people have chosen go on exchange experiences, expecting to live in a context full of diversity, to know elements in the country they are visiting and also to develop themselves personally and professionally. Organizational and cultural values can be acquired or developed through these professional exchange experiences. This paper aimed to understand the vision of young people who went on the social exchange of AIESEC related to cultural and organizational values in the experience. AIESEC is a global and nonprofit organization formed by university students, with the objective of peace and the fulfillment of the humankind needs. Thus, professional exchanges are the main tool for achieving this goal. The study analyzes the experiences of 15 exchange students as well as the point of view of five managers of the organization in order to gain a broad perspective in relation to exchange experiences to understand how young people understand the concept of culture. The interview results suggest that in labor relations, autonomy and egalitarianism are values that go together, while the harmony could be observed by the fact that the projects deal with the issue of sustainability. Furthermore, responsibility, tolerance and collective were the human values that the exchange students developed the most, indicating that experience enables openness to live the diversity and to the intercultural dialogue in order to value local cultures of the visited countries
