Conocimiento aritmético informal puesto de manifiesto por una pareja de alumnos (6-7 años) sobre la invención y resolución de problemas

Se describe y analiza el desempeño de dos niños de educación primaria con edades comprendidas entre 6 y 7 años, en varias cuestiones y tareas sobre invención y resolución de problemas aritméticos verbales. Los resultados informan de su conocimiento informal sobre la idea de problema, los elementos que lo componen, el papel que juegan los números en un problema, y los factores que determinan que un problema sea difícil.

Diseño de una trayectoria hipotética de aprendizaje para la construcción de concepto de dependencia lineal

En esta comunicación se presenta la primera parte de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue analizar si un experimento de enseñanza diseñado ad hoc ayudó a la construcción de caracterizaciones equivalentes del concepto de dependencia lineal, en lenguaje geométrico y analítico. En primer lugar se diseñó un experimento de enseñanza en un contexto de geometría dinámica utilizando simultáneamente representaciones geométricas y analíticas del concepto y se describió una ‘trayectoria hipotética de aprendizaje’ en términos del mecanismo de ‘reflexión sobre la relación actividad-efecto’. En segundo lugar se describieron las trayectorias de aprendizaje de estudiantes de 2o de bachillerato (17-18 años) identificando las ‘acciones de generalización’ y las ‘generalizaciones de la reflexión’.

Conocimiento sobre orientación espacial en estudiantes de ESO

El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio del conocimiento sobre la orientación espacial de alumnos de 1o y 4o de ESO. En esta comunicación presentamos los resultados relativos a uno de los subbloques de contenidos abordados: la representación plana de entornos. Comparamos las respuestas de alumnos de ambos cursos de un mismo centro educativo a las mismas cuestiones. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas entre ambos grupos y ponen de relieve cómo algunas dificultades de los alumnos (por ejemplo, respecto del concepto de plano) dependen de las características del entorno a representar.

The (in)visible scar. Representation of the body in blogs by women with breast cancer

In this paper we analyze the representation of the body in blogs by women with breast cancer. Taking into account both texts and images, we study the representation of the body on the basis of the body problems proposed by Frank (1995): control, body-relatedness, other-relatedness and desire. In the blogs studied we find a desiring and dyadic body, which is understood as part of a network of affection and care. The diagnosis of cancer can generate both dissociation, when the body is experienced as a threat, and association, a wish to be connected to it. In relation to control, a clear will of predictability is observed but traces of assumption of contingency also appear.

The sector of olive-oil cooperatives and the use of ICT: A comparative study regarding othe legal forms

The current global environment and the general increase in the spread and use of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) by companies and consumers, make the use of these technologies as essential to confront the growing competition in the market. Focused on this sector, in this research we analyze the use of electronic commerce, as through websites as through electronic markets, and the use of social networking tools as enablers of business. For this aim, we conducted a comparative analysis between the Andalusian olive oil cooperatives and other legal forms which are present in the sector.

Factores determinantes del uso de Internet en la comercialización del aceite de oliva. Análisis del sector en Cataluña

Las cooperativas son entidades con una gran presencia económica y social en España, y tienen una gran influencia en la economía rural de las zonas donde están ubicadas. El principal objetivo del presente trabajo es el análisis del uso de las nuevas tecnologías por parte de las cooperativas agroalimentarias, centrándose en las productoras de aceite de oliva para determinar los principales factores que condicionan su comportamiento en la Red. En el presente estudio se analizan sus sitios web y se determina qué tipo de información aporta, tanto datos generales como datos de comercialización. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se busca la relación que pueda existir entre el tamaño de la cooperativa, su actividad exportadora o la actividad de comercio electrónico con la presencia online, mediante una regresión logística. De esta manera podremos conocer si realmente la implantación de nuevas tecnologías en las cooperativas permite desarrollar una óptima actividad económica.

Reception and schooling of children in schools in Catalonia: Beyond Educational Welcome Facilities

The ways of incorporating newcoming students into schools and colleges have been at the center of debate in most OECD countries in recent years. In Spain, the set of measures developed for the reception of immigrant pupils in different Autonomous Communities has also been the subject of specific research, pointing out the similarities and contradictions between pedagogic discourses and school practices. This article takes into account these considerations and presents the reflections from the results of research on the Educational Welcome Facilities (and specifically the EBE) conducted during the school years 2008-2010. This device was created in Catalonia to attend newcomers before enrolling them in the school. It was a pilot project which took place in Vic and Reus for two consecutive years. The research of the EBE has enabled us to explain the relationship between educational assessment that schools made about this facility and reception processes that schools were implementing. The conclusions that emerge from this analysis allowed us to establish relationships between educational host practices of the seven centers analyzed with three different conceptual and educational frameworks of reception.

Pupil participation in school life: an approach from the educational community

The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC, 1989) is currently the most ratified international treaty. Several authors have highlighted its potential for both a moral education and citizenship. However, paradoxically, different studies report its limited or occasional incorporation into school practices. This article explores experiences of participation in schools,the third P of the CRC, from the plurality of voices and actors of the educational community,by means of 14 discussion groups in 11 autonomous communities in Spain. Discourse analysis evidence low levels of student participation in school life. But, at the same time, a favorable educational environment for the development of projects that contribute to child participation is found, as well as for the incorporation of the CRC as a mover and a referential integrator of the different schools projects. However, it is also an educational background conductive to projects for its development, such as the incorporation of the CRC as a referential integrator of the schools projects.

Alien gosd in the new epics: Noah remythologised through the ancient astronaut hypothesis in Abel's Montagut's "La gesta d'Utnoa"

Modern scientific world-view has undermined traditional myths, the functional survival of which seems to depend today in the West on a positivist justification. This would place them in the field of real History, through their study and revitalization by pseudoscientific disciplines such as the Atlantis and the ancient astronaut hypotheses. These have inspired new epic poems in (regular) verse that combine classic and/or biblical myths with a (pseudo)scientific modern world-view. For example, the critical rewriting of Noah’s myth by using the ancient astronaut hypothesis as a fictional device to produce a contemporary kind of plausibility allowed Abel Montagut to renew epic poetry, updating it also by adopting science fiction chronotopes in order to structure his fictional construction and to generate a high ethical sense for our time. Thus, his Poemo de Utnoa (1993) / La gesta d’Utnoa (1996), which has become a major classic of the literature in Esperanto thanks to its original version in this language, is a landmark of both science fiction and neo-biblical epics. This poem is written from a secular and purely literary perspective.

En su condición de hija de exiliados españoles, Angelina Muñiz Huberman emprenderá un largo y doloroso periplo desde su nacimiento hasta la edad adulta para consumar el proceso de construcción de sí misma. Una lectura cruzada de Castillos en la tierra. Seudomemorias (1995) y Molinos sin viento (2001) nos muestra que, a través de la memoria, propia o colectiva, Muñiz intenta unir los pedazos para forjarse una identidad hecha de fragmentos.

Gaze and power. A post-structuralist interpretation on Perseus’ myth

Gaze hierarchizes, manages and labels reality. Then, according to Foucault, gaze can be understood as a practice of power. This paper is inspired by his theories, and it applies them to one of the most powerful symbolic spheres of Western culture: Greek Myths. Notions such as visibility, invisibility and panopticism bring new light into the story of Perseus and Medusa, and they enable a re-reading of this Myth focused on the different ways of power that emerge from the gaze.
