The study investigated the valuation of businesses valued for property settlements in the Family Court of Australia and related issues. The findings have important implications for the Family Court of Australia, the legal profession and the accounting profession in highlighting deficiencies in valuation practice at various stages of the settlement process.

This research explored the way service organisations deal with employee management issues when implementing eCommerce technologies. The thesis proposes a framework for understanding the technology-mediated context of the customer-employee interaction in service organisations when implementing eCommerce. The 1999 review of business taxation's small business reforms

This thesis considers the 1999 Review of Business Taxation's small business reforms. It is argued that policy problems arose from flaws in the Review's policy design processes and in weaknesses in the enactment processes of the federal Government. This created policy structural defects, resulting in substantial levels of community criticism.

This study found that a majority of Australian accounting firms either currently oursource accounting services or are considering outsourcing, and identified the significance of outsourcing contracts. It established that most firms outsource their core services. The study provided important information regarding ethical issues and the relinquishment of professional status.

The work identified the processes that organizations applied when defining their marketing strategy and promotional mix, and investigated the decision influences and design considerations which shaped the profile of competitions, offering innovative decision-making models for academics and practitioners.

Managing student diversity in business education: Incorporating campus diversity into the curriculum to foster inclusion and academic success of international students

ABSTRACT
The past three decades have witnessed significant growth of culturally and linguistically diverse international students in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries. International students now constitute an important component of the student body at many universities, especially in their business schools. The increased presence of international students has generated new demands and challenges for these business schools, and a number of issues related to international students have been identified in the literature. However, the increased presence of international students has not led universities and business schools to develop adequate responses to the issues and make subsequent changes in the curriculum. Diversity on campus continues to be managed in roughly the same way as in business organizations. Drawing on the notion that diversity should be defined and understood in terms of context, this conceptual paper redefines diversity on campus, identifies limitations of current diversity education in the higher education context, and develops a competency-oriented approach to improve inclusion and academic performance of international students.
