We investigate the broadband infrared emission of bismuth doped and bismuth/dysprosium codoped chalcohalide glasses. It is found that the bismuth/dysprosium codoping can drastically enhance the fluorescence as compared with either bismuth or dysprosium doped glasses. Meanwhile, the full width at half maximum of bismuth/dysprosium codoped glasses is over 170 nm, which is the largest value among all the reported rare-earth doped chalcohalide glasses. An ideal way for energy consumption between bismuth and dysprosium ions is supposed. Such improved gain spectra of both bismuth and dysprosium ions may have potential applications in developing broadband fibre amplifiers.

[EUS] Aurreko Ligamendu Gurutzatuen (ALG) lesioa gaur egun kirolean gehien ematen den lesioetako bat da. Lesio hau askoz ere ohikoagoa da emakumeengan, eta batez ere kontakturik gabeko egoeretan ematen da. Lesio honen tratamendu eta errekuperazio metodo desberdinak daude gaur egun. Lan honetan bi kasu desberdinen konparaketa egingo da, batez ere, operazio ondorengo errekuperazioan ematen diren desberdintasunetan, eta hauen emaitzetan zentratuz ondorioak atera ahal izateko.

[ES]Este trabajo pretende dar solución a la fabricación de los electrodos utilizados en el proceso de la electroerosión, los cuales presentan numerosos requisitos a los que los electrodos actuales no dan respuesta. Por ello, se propone utilizar un material de bajo coste como núcleo y recubrirlo con una fina capa de cobre mediante laser cladding. De esta forma, se reduce el coste del electrodo manteniendo sus propiedades y se posibilita la creación de geometrías complejas.

[ES] En el siguiente trabajo se dan a conocer cuatro nuevas estelas funerarias de época romana de Belorado (Burgos). Como la inmensa mayoría de las estelas localizadas en este lugar, estas también guardan una serie de peculiaridades externas e internas comunes que han llevado a considerarlo un conjunto epigráfico específico del lugar. Es por ello que en las siguientes páginas presentaremos una descripción y análisis de las mismas a la vez que las contextualizamos dentro del conjunto y el lugar donde fueron localizadas.

[EN]These feedback devices are used to improve the quality of chest compressions while performing CPR technique, as they provide real time information to guide the rescuer during resuscitation attempts. Most feedback systems on the market are based on accelerometers and additional sensors or reference signals, used for calculating the displacement of the chest from the acceleration signal. This makes them expensive and complex devices. With the aim of optimizing these feedback systems and overcoming their limitations, in this document we propose three alternative methods for calculating the depth of chest compressions. These methods differ from the ones existing so far in that they use exclusively the chest acceleration signal to compute the displacement. With their implementation, it would be possible to develop systems to provide accurate feedback more easily and economically. In this context, this document details the design and implementation of the three methods and the development of a software environment to analyze the accuracy of each of them and compare the results by means of a detailed calculation of errors. Furthermore, in order to evaluate the methods a database is required, and it can be compiled using a sensorized manikin to record the acceleration signal and the gold standard chest compression depth. The database generated will be used for other studies related to the estimation of the compression depth, because the signals obtained in the manikin platform are very similar to those recorded during a real resuscitation episode.

Cladding band structure of air-guiding photonic crystal fibers with high air-filling fraction is calculated in terms of fiber shape variation. The fundamental photonic band gap dependence on structure parameters, air-filling fraction and spacing, is also investigated. The numerical results show that the band gap edges shift toward longer wavelength as the air-filling fraction is increased, whereas the relative band gap width increases linearly. For a fixed air-filling fraction, the band gap edges with respect to spacing keep constant. With this method, the simulation results agree well with the reported data. © 2007 Elsevier B.V. The encircled energy of a focusing lens is one of the parameters directly affecting the target efficiency in high-power laser facilities. The direct measurement method of the encircled energy for the focusing lens based on the scanning Hartmann test is proposed in this paper. With the scanning Hartmann test setup, the information in the whole aperture of the focusing lens can be achieved. The encircled energy can be obtained by analyzing the spot diagram on the focal plane of the focusing lens. In experiments, the encircled energy of an aspheric focusing lens is measured using this method. The measurement result is in good agreement with that derived from measurement data by an interferometer and the difference is 7.7%. (C) 2006 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.

[ES] Con el presente estudio descriptivo se pretende obtener los siguientes objetivos: reunir la mayor bibliografía posible sobre las lonjas juveniles. Conocer estos tipos de espacios y qué actividades son las que se realizan en ellos. Tomando como punto de partida la observación de una lonja ubicada en el barrio Bilbaíno de Zorroza, se analizarán los comportamientos que se dan en estos espacios. Además se pretende ofrecer terminología sobre la juventud de hoy en día y las actividades de ocio en las que participan. Los estudios previos destacan un elevado consumo de drogas seguido de hábitos sedentarios. Al mismo tiempo, se presenta una propuesta de intervención en estos espacios y poder así ofrecer alternativas de ocio contra el sedentarismo a medio y largo plazo. Se espera de este trabajo que nos ofrezca más información sobre las actividades que se realizan en las lonjas juveniles y el tipo de drogas que más se consumen ellas, así como la frecuencia con la que se consumen.

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las modificaciones que se dan en la legislación laboral y de Seguridad Social en España, y el impacto que han tenido en nuestra sociedad. Durante el periodo de crisis se han llevado a cabo diferentes reformas en el ámbito laboral, pero nos vamos a centrar en aquellas que creemos que han tenido un mayor impacto en la sociedad. Por lo tanto nos centraremos en modificaciones que se han dado en la legislación en materia de contratación, en la negociación colectiva y en la extinción del contrato de trabajo. Una vez vistas las reformas que se han dado en materia laboral, para poder hacer un mejor análisis de los cambios que se han dado en la legislación social, vamos a ver las reformas que se han producido en el ámbito de las cotizaciones. Finalmente, se extraen una serie de conclusiones y efectos que se han dado en la sociedad en su conjunto debido a las modificaciones que se dan en la legislación social Española.

The characteristics of the cladding band structure of air-core photonic crystal fibers with silica rings in triangular lattice are investigated by using a standard plane wave method. The numerical results show that light can be localized in the air core by the photonic band gaps of the fiber. By increasing the air-filling fraction, the band gap edges of the low frequency photonic band gaps shift to shorter wavelength.. whereas the band gap width decreases linearly. In order to make a specified light fall in the low frequency band gaps of the fiber, the interplay of the silica ring spacing and the air-filling fraction is also analyzed. It shows that the silica ring spacing increases monotonously when the air-filling fraction is increased, and the spacing range increases exponentially. This type fiber might have potential in infrared light transmission. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

[ES] En las últimas décadas la importancia de los Recursos Humanos en las empresas se ha ido incrementando, llegado al punto que si se dan las condiciones, hasta la Dirección de Recursos Humanos se puede considerar Estratégica. Esto permite a las empresas mediante una Dirección adecuada generar ventaja competitiva sostenible a través de las personas. Hay que añadir el punto de interés que supone una burocracia profesional, donde las características diferentes de los profesionales influyen en la Dirección de Recursos Humanos. Mediante un adecuado análisis, tanto externo como interno, desde la perspectiva de los Recursos Humanos, se podrán plantear objetivos y estrategias acordes con la organización de estudio, la Escuela de Música Andrés Isasi, que le permitirán mejorar en esta área.

The preliminary study of water quality assessment for developing aquaculture effort was done in Sampoinit sub district for one week (1-8 December 2007). The objective of the present study is to evaluate the suitability of sites for developing of aquaculture. The explorative survey method was used in this study by determine of several sampling points at identified sites. The survey was covered four villages i.e. Meunasah Kulam, Crak Mong, Krueng No dan Pulo Raya. The results show that Meunasah Kulam, Crak Mong, Krueng No dan Pulo Raya were suitable for brackish water aquaculture of Scylla serrata, Mugil sp, Tilapia mossambica), Tilapia nilotica and Channos channos, while Crak Mong was suitable for freshwater aquaculture of Clarias batrachus and Channa striata. A semi intensive of aquaculture was suitable to be developed.

A V:YAG single crystal was grown by the temperature gradient technique (TGT) with graphite-heating elements. The as-grown crystal has different colorations of light green and yellow brown in different parts. Distribution of vanadium in three samples with different colorations was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. From the absorption spectrum of the yellow-brown part with peaks at 370, 820 and 1320nm, we can deduce that the reducing atmosphere of carbon diffused from the heating elements can increase the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions and induce F color centers. All three samples exhibited light-green color after annealing in vacuum or H-2 atmospheres. In the vacuum annealing process, the V3+ ions in tetrahedral positions were enhanced through two methods: one method is the exchanging of octahedral V3+ and tetrahedral Al3+ ions in neighboring sites under thermal excitation, the other is that F color centers were thoroughly eliminated and the escaped free electrons could be captured by V ions with higher valance states to further improve the concentration of tetrahedral V3+ ions. Besides the two mechanisms, the H-2 annealing process greatly improved the V-tetra(3+) ions through the reduction effect of H-2. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
