Qualidade de vida em mulheres no climat��rio atendidas na Aten����o Prim��ria

The experience of menopause is increasingly present, and demand strategies to improve the quality of life of women during this period. This research aimed to evaluate the quality of life for women in the climacteric phase, with or without the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). This is a longitudinal epidemiological study of a sample of 99 women per group. It was evaluated the sociodemographic, clinical and behavioral characteristics. It was used the Menopause Rating Scale (MRS) and the Medical Outcomes Study 36-item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36). For data analysis, it was used the Student t test, chi-square and Tukey. HRT users had an average age of 50.76 �� 3.63 years, and nonusers of 48.95 �� 6,27anos (p = 0.01). It was identified a higher frequency of moderate climacteric symptoms of mild intensity. The social aspects evidenced scores below 50 for the two groups. There were differences between groups with respect to the components of the SF-36 and MRS to general health, functional capacity, lower capacity, depression, insomnia and vasomotor phenomena.

Um estudo sobre a exclus��o e a reinser����o escolar de alunos da educa����o de jovens e adultos no munic��pio de Rio Claro

Os mist��rios que permeiam a Educa����o de Jovens e Adultos s��o capazes de fazer com que as pessoas que possuem contato com esse tipo de educa����o se envolvam em suas quest��es mais profundas, buscando compreender a rela����o que se estabelece entre as mesmas e a educa����o. Dessa forma, ao entrar no projeto EJA/PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Incentivo �� Doc��ncia) como estagi��ria-bolsista, projeto este que visa atuar em uma sala de EJA que esteja vinculada a uma escola perif��rica do munic��pio, com alunos alfabetizados ou semi-alfabetizados, que vem sendo desenvolvido no Campus da UNESP de Rio Claro, juntamente com a Escola Municipal Celeste Calil localizada no bairro Jardim Novo Wenzel. Composta tamb��m de alunos da comunidade do entorno, a classe define-se como multiseriada e funciona no per��odo vespertino.Dos problemas que norteiam a Educa����o de Jovens e Adultos, principalmente aqueles que atingem as camadas mais populares da sociedade, optou-se por trabalhar com o tema na busca de reflex��es a duas quest��es centrais: os motivos que levaram as pessoas matriculadas na EJA nas referidas escolas a desistir de seus estudos e quais s��o os fatores motivadores que as levaram a retornar �� educa����o escolarizada, ainda que tardiamente. As reflex��es pautadas por essas duas quest��es ser��o discutidas a partir de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa que tem como t��cnica de coleta de dados um question��rio, elaborado para as turmas de EJA. A an��lise desses dados pode contribuir para levantar e entender a trajet��ria escolar desses alunos e os impactos que a viv��ncia da exclus��o escolar e o da reinser����o escolar trouxeram a eles, tendo como base de estudo de fatores hist��ricosociais/ pol��ticos da EJA, te��ricos como: Paulo Freire, Vanilda Paiva, ��lvaro Pinto, S��rgio Haddad, etc

A sociedade contempor��nea presencia um momento mundial bastante cr��tico, no qual se faz presente uma crise s��cio-ambiental que tende a se agravar a cada dia devido �� explora����o e distribui����o de recursos naturais inadequadas. Na busca de um modelo que torne vi��vel a sobreviv��ncia das futuras gera����es de todas as esp��cies viventes, faz-se necess��ria uma altera����o do paradigma antropoc��ntrico vigente, para um paradigma bioc��ntrico, comprometido com todas as formas de vida do planeta. A mudan��a dos padr��es consumistas presentes no sistema capitalista para padr��es permeados pelo consumo sustent��vel torna-se base essencial para esta mudan��a de paradigmas. Em tal processo de transi����o, a educa����o aparece como uma importante ferramenta para a forma����o de indiv��duos conscientes, criativos e portadores de senso cr��tico, enfim, indiv��duos mais capazes de promover as mudan��as de padr��es necess��rias. Surge ent��o a necessidade de uma educa����o inovadora, que promova a forma����o de cidad��os conscientes e atuantes. A partir dessas necessidades, surge o trabalho aqui exposto, com o objetivo de proporcionar uma cartilha de base para iniciativas educacionais voltadas ao consumo respons��vel.

An��lise da queda de granizo em Guarulhos-SP e seus impactos socioecon��micos

The climate and weather have direct implications on society, are factors that can to regulate or restrict human occupation in a determined space. In this way, studies of climate and weather are justified to be extremely necessary for urban planning and economic activities, especially agriculture. The precipitation of hail, which enters in the classification of severe storm, causes large, direct and indirect impacts on society, mainly when it occurs in urban areas. This work aims to study the precipitation of hail, explain what is a severe storms and how hail is formed in clouds, making use of a literature review in geography and also in weather sciences. It is also an aim of this work analyze the genesis, evolution and dissipation of a specific case of precipitation of hail occurred in the metropolitan region of S��o Paulo, especially in Guarulhos, on 21st of September 21 of 2010, through the use of GOES-12��� satellite���s images and the use of S��o Roque���s weather radar. And in this way, show the potential impact of hail storms in society and contribute to a greater preparedness of the population, urban planners associations and emergency management, such as municipalities, the civil defense and fireman

A institucionaliza����o da agricultura familiar no mercosul

The Mercosul project, signed in 1991, represents the union of a political project, characterized by a democratic agreement among its members, with an economical project characterized by the trade liberalization among its regional members and among these with the global economy. So, it was constituted, with the aim to expand the national trades by the integration, to increase the economic development process with social justice. However, the Mercosul follows the historical trajectory of Latin America integration, characterized by models that aimed the economical development from the strengthening of the industry. According to that, the Mercosul politics are priority for economic issues, focused in the industrialization and trade relations, giving less priority to the social demands. In opposition to such ideas, in 2004 was created the Especialized Meeting about Family Farm (Reuni��o Especializada sobre Agricultura Familiar - REAF) in the Mercosul, that aim to strengthen the public policies of the sector, to promote the commercialization of the family farm products in the region. So, the family farm, a sector historically marginalized from the integration projects, it is institutionalized in the Mercosul. In that way, the aim of this research is to discuss the reasons that leaded to the family farm institutionalization, and also to analyze the advances and problems of the Especialized Meeting about Family Farm

Impactos socioespaciais do uso e ocupa����o do solo urbano na ��rea de entorno do Aeroporto Internacional de S��o Paulo - Guarulhos - Andre Franco Montoro

The construction of the S��o Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos recorded significant economic growth for the whole region, especially for services and jobs generated. Despite the importance of its presence in Guarulhos, we note the absence of an articulate and committed planning to urban development of the city, mainly in adjacent areas to this airport system planning. Through this stud, we analyzed primarily the major interferences and modifications afforded by its presence in guarulhense spatiality. We found that the government was, to some extent, tolerant to mounting housing in the surrounding area to the airport, from the moment that allowed the diverse urban land use in the place where it was planned to build such equipment. We further note that the airport is developed autonomously to the municipality in which the investments and related works only aim to meet the needs of the enterprise

Programa de acelera����o de crescimento ��� P.A.C: discuss��o sociol��gica a respeito do mercado da habita����o

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma an��lise a respeito do que foi proposto pelo Programa de Acelera����o do Crescimento ��� PAC pelo governo em mandato Lu��s In��cio Lula da Silva, em janeiro de 2007, destacando seus principais resultados ao t��rmino do ano de 2010, contribuindo com uma investiga����o a respeito do modelo de desenvolvimento adotado nos ��ltimos dez anos no Brasil. Argumentamos que o setor habitacional teve maior ��nfase no setor de infraestrutura social e urbana, levando em considera����o que havia uma busca pela melhoria do n��vel de d��ficit habitacional no Brasil que, de acordo com o Minist��rio das Cidades, em 2006, era de aproximadamente 8 milh��es de domic��lios, sendo que sua grande maioria localizavam-se nas ��reas urbanas, aproximadamente 6,5 milh��es de domic��lios. Moldando essa discuss��o atrav��s dos conceitos da Sociologia Econ��mica, argumentamos que, em termos de Mercado Habitacional, o Estado construiu a ideia da necessidade da casa pr��pria, e a popula����o aderiu a essa ideia como sendo algo necess��rio para a condi����o de estar inclu��da em uma sociedade ou grupo social

O processo de desindustrializa����o da economia brasileira no per��odo 2000-2011

A ind��stria de transforma����o �� considerada de suma import��ncia para o desenvolvimento do pa��s tanto em termos econ��micos como sociais, visto que �� respons��vel por encadeamentos produtivos e efeitos multiplicadores no emprego e na renda do pa��s. Entre os anos de 2000 e 2011 ainda que haja ind��cios de desindustrializa����o da economia brasileira, devido �� queda da participa����o do valor adicionado da ind��stria de transforma����o no Produto Interno Bruto e �� deteriora����o da ind��stria de transforma����o frente ao com��rcio exterior, no que concerne ao emprego, em termos absolutos e relativos, n��o h�� suspeitas de que esteja em curso no Brasil um processo de desindustrializa����o. An��lise da viabilidade de motoriza����o el��trica do soprador no ciclo regenerativo da unidade de craqueamento catal��tico fluidizado em uma refinaria

One of the biggest environmental problems of today is the climate change. Experts affirm that this global warming is related to the greenhouse effect. Its causes are directly related to human activity, especially the use of fossil fuels. In this context, companies around the world are challenged to improve energy efficiency in order to reduce the environmental impact and work toward the so-called tripod of sustainable development that focuses on the social, economic and environmental aspects of a business strategy. The first step a company can make in this regard is to conduct an inventory of emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). The reduction of GHG emissions in a refinery can be achieved by replacing steam turbines with electric motors to drive big machines, this reduction is achieved by relieving the steam consumption for electric power available or purchased. An important aspect associated with the reduction of GHG emissions is the best performance of the Energy Intensity Index (ERI). The objective of this study was to analyze the feasibility of the blower motorization in the regenerative cycle of a fluidized catalytic cracking unit at a specific refinery. For development work, two methods were used, the initial screening and optimization scenarios with the help of software Butyl. The results indicate that after a certain cost of natural gas this substitution becomes favorable. In addition, there is a large reduction of CO2 emissions avoided by burning fuel

The objective of this work is to compare how manifests the ideological positioning in the hegemonic media productions, according to Gramsci's conception, in relation to the radical alternative media, proposed by John Downing. The research has as opinionated content sample printed newspaper O Estado de s. Paulo, contrasting with the expressions of NON-PROFIT bauruense environmental ���Instituto Ambiental Vid��gua on the proposals of the new Brazilian forest Code. The analysis will hold in an interval between the adoption of the code by the Chamber of deputies in April 2012, and the provisional measure of President Dilma Rousseff with 32 modifications, after vetoing 12 articles proposed initially in may 2012.
