Degradação ambiental e qualidade de vida na microbacia do Córrego do Gramado – Presidente Prudente/São Paulo

The late industrialization, together with other factors, ended up directing much of the rural population to cities, without adequate planning, resulting in high density and irregular settlements in risk areas to low-income population. The man settled in the urban site to break environmental laws that eventually causing an imbalance in the natural environment, causing or exacerbating the shortage in availability of water resources. This situation also happened in Presidente Prudente, especially in the east, the focus of this research. Therefore, this study aims to understand the causes of degradation of waterways in urban areas, focusing on society's relationship with nature and its consequences on environmental quality and quality of life of urban population located in the watershed of stream of Gramado, Presidente Prudente - São Paulo. In this catchment there is the irregular deposition of solid waste in the valley, remnants of old pollution release of domestic sewage and industrial (currently collected and intended for treatment), accelerated processes of erosion in some areas of intensive use of the relief and consequently, the bed siltation of streams that are part of the basin. The quality of urban life was seen through socioeconomic and environmental indicators, which were identified through questionnaires to residents, according to local residence in the landscape, divided into three segments: the tops 60 residents, 90 residents and 112 residents in the areas in valley bottoms. With these data we can relate them to the degradation of the basin and aggregate them to the quality of life of residents. Field studies were needed to visualize the changes that occurred in the watershed over the past three years, with the implementation of works aimed at improvements to the community as the conduit stream of Gramado and construction and operation of Sewage Pumping Stations... Gestão ambiental no contexto municipal: o projeto “município verdeazul” em Magda-São Paulo

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo una presentación de políticas públicas ambientales, teniendo como foco el Proyecto “Municipio VerdeAzul” (PMVA), lanzado por la Secretaria de Medio Ambiente del Estado de São Paulo en 2007, que tiene como característica la descentralización y comparte la gestión ambiental con los municipios. De esta manera, como estudio de caso fue realizado un análisis del desarrollo y de los resultados del municipio de Magda-São Paulo en la aplicación de ese proyecto en el año 2010. Para eso, se utilizó una metodología basada, inicialmente en la revisión bibliográfica sobre los temas envueltos, seguida del levantamiento de datos oficiales colectados en trabajo de campo y en sitios de órganos públicos, bien como entrevistas con dirigentes municipales para la realización del análisis e interpretación de esos dados. La investigación permitió concluir que el municipio de Magda obtuvo buenos resultados a partir de la participación en el PMVA, que se presenta como una política pública ambiental estratégica, avanzando en la perspectiva de actuación del poder municipal en la gestión del medioambiente

Planejamento ambiental da bacia hidrográfica do córrego Embirí – UGRHI Pontal do Paranapanema – São Paulo: inventário e diagnóstico

This study aimed to contribute to the environmental planning of the watershed Embirí stream - UGRHI Pontal Paranapanema (belonging to the Paranapanema Management unit) in the cities of Presidente Prudente and Regente Feijó, São Paulo. This basin is located in the area of the Santo Anastácio river source, responsible for supplying water to about 30% of the population of Presidente Prudente. The methodological procedures based on Leal (1995) and Rodriguez et al. (2004), and the steps include inventory and diagnosis of the basin. We conducted extensive literature review, cartographic and documentary on the subject area of research, field work, preparation of thematic maps and summary chart of physical units and environmental use and land cover, participatory mapping of environmental risks, quality analysis of water. Most of the basin of the stream of twine had a high environmental fragility and the main problems found were lack of riparian vegetation, erosion, siltation of water bodies, irregular disposal of debris and the dumping of sewage. The results were summarized in the diagnosis and can identify the most important environmental impacts, environmental and spatial weaknesses of the legislation, and thus draw up proposals for action to the area that is substantially degraded

Planejamento ambiental da Bacia Hidrográfica do Córrego da Olga, UGRHI Pontal do Paranapanema – São Paulo: inventário e diagnóstico

This work, presented in order to obtain the environmental engeneer title, is to raise the current status of environmental conditions in the watershed of the stream of Olga and thus contribute to environmental planning for the recovery, conservation and preservation. To this end, we conducted literature surveys and survey of the characteristics of the watershed, analysis of water fron stream of Olga and making use of remote sensingand of the soil, environmental fragiityand spatialization of APPs in order to carry out further research on the environmental conditions of the basin, as well as inferences about possible causes of degradation of watershed.Most of the basin of the stream Olga had a high environmental fargility and the main problem was the lack of riparian vegetation is also considered the cause of environmental problems of the watershed.The results will be available to municipal governments in order to contribute to their planning and management of UGRHI the teh watershed pertence

Planejamento ambiental da bacia do Balneário da Amizade – São Paulo

Esta monografia esta relacionado à pesquisa de iniciação científica inserida no Grupo de Pesquisa em Gestão Ambiental e Dinâmica Socioespacial (GADIS), da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, UNESP, campus de Presidente Prudente, e vincula-se a projetos mais amplos desenvolvidos com apoio da FAPESP, do CNPq e FEHIDRO. De modo geral, este trabalho possui o objetivo de contribuir para o planejamento ambiental da bacia do Balneário da Amizade, como também para o gerenciamento de seus recursos hídricos, aprofundando conhecimentos teórico-metodológicos sobre o tema. Os procedimentos metodológicos seguem a proposta de Rodriguez (1994) adaptada por Leal (1995), na qual incluem etapas de elaboração do Inventário, Diagnóstico Ambiental, Prognóstico e Propostas, de modo a identificar as características de uso e ocupação da bacia do Balneário da Amizade, mapear seus principais problemas ambientais e elaborar propostas visando sua recuperação ambiental e a preservação de seus recursos hídricos, além de analisar políticas públicas direcionadas para a bacia. It was investigated how the conceptions of PT for the educational area defended in national meetings of the party have configured as policies in the City Hall of São Paulo during 1989-1992. It was made an analysis of official documents and measures adopted by the Municipal Education Secretariat. Then, it could be concluded that the priorities of implementation of the PT proposal entitled popular public school were based on four categories: Democratization of Management; New Quality of Teaching; Movement of Adult and Youth Literacy (MOVA) and Democratization Access.

This article presents the historical trajectory of agricultural technical education in the State of São Paulo, 1882-2001, with emphasis on regulatory and policy aspects of transition management agencies and disruption in the construction and consolidation of a pedagogical and curricular design of this area of teaching technical and institutional policies of these technical schools. Mudança de fronteiras étnicas e participação política de descendentes de imigrantes em São Paulo

This paper analyzes patterns of political mobility of a specific social stratum - immigrants and their descendants - in the western region of São Paulo, where coffee economy prevailed since the last quarter of the XIXth century. We investigate the main agents of local politics in seven cities: from the traditional oligarchic regime characteristic of the Old Republic to the processes of political transformation in the thirties that resulted in the post-war re-democratization, when a recomposition of local political elites takes place.
