Nas últimas décadas Friction Surfacing despertou bastante interesse por permitir revestir metais no estado sólido desenvolvendo-se a temperaturas inferiores às de fusão, evitando assim as afetações que dai advém. No presente trabalho existem dois blocos principais, um primeiro onde se caraterizou o material do braço de suspensão do M113, e um segundo onde se produziram revestimentos recorrendo às três técnicas de revestimento em estudo (FS, Fios Fluxados e SER), com o objetivo de se proceder ao seu estudo e comparação. No processo de caraterização do aço do braço, foram realizados diversos ensaios, dos quais se salientam os ensaios de durezas Vickers e os ensaios de faiscamento, concluindo-se que o aço que mais se assemelha com o do braço é o AISI 4140. Para a caraterização dos revestimentos foram definidos diferentes tipos de ensaios, Metalúrgicos e Mecânicos, com a finalidade principal de abranger uma ampla gama de solicitações semelhantes às que são requeridas ao componente em serviço. Nos ensaios Metalúrgicos foram avaliadas as ligações, a existência de defeitos, as ZTA e as alterações metalográficas. A avaliação das propriedades mecânicas foi obtida através de ensaios de dureza, desgaste, flexão em três pontos e Push-Pull. Da realização destes ensaios verificou-se que os revestimentos obtidos por FS apresentam melhores propriedades, tanto Metalúrgicas como Mecânicas Por fim, foi elaborada uma avaliação dos custos operacionais envolvidos na realização da reparação de um braço de suspensão, concluindo-se que FS, apesar de apresentar os revestimentos com melhores propriedades, é ainda uma tecnologia pouco viável economicamente, fato que se deve á baixa eficiência apresentada.
Influência da resistência do betão leve e da taxa de armadura no comportamento da ligação viga-pilar

No dimensionamento de estruturas porticadas em betão armado normalmente a atenção que se dá às ligações viga-pilar não é proporcional à importância que têm no comportamento global da estrutura. Usualmente assume-se que estas ligações são rígidas e que os elementos estruturais têm um comportamento linear elástico. Contudo, ambas as generalizações são inadequadas, dado que, a ligação viga-pilar não é totalmente rígida e o efeito do comportamento das ligações viga-pilar sobre o comportamento global da estrutura também não é considerado. Nos últimos anos têm surgido trabalhos de investigação com o objetivo de clarificar e identificar os principais parâmetros de influência no comportamento das ligações viga-pilar de estruturas porticadas em betão armado, sob o efeito de ações monotónicas. A resistência do betão à compressão e a taxa de armadura são dois desses parâmetros que afetam o comportamento da ligação viga-pilar. No entanto, a informação relativa a este tipo de estudos mas considerando os elementos constituídos por betão com agregados leves é muito reduzida ou mesmo inexistente. Este documento tem por base a análise da influência da resistência à compressão do betão leve e da taxa de armadura de tração na ligação viga-pilar. Como tal, foi desenvolvido um programa experimental que contempla o ensaio de cinco peças, representativas da ligação viga-pilar, em que é imposta uma carga na extremidade da viga até provocar a rotura do nó. Para a produção das peças de ensaio foram usados betões com diferentes classes de resistência à compressão e diferentes taxas de armadura de tração, com o objetivo de se analisar a influência de cada um desses parâmetros através da comparação direta de resultados. Após análise dos dados recolhidos durante os ensaios foi possível observar que, a ligação viga-pilar não deve ser considerada como uma extensão das vigas e pilares adjacentes mas sim como elemento estrutural independente. A ligação deve ser analisada de forma detalhada, nomeadamente, a pormenorização das armaduras longitudinais e transversais, e o volume de betão nas zonas comprimidas. O dimensionamento incorreto do nó pode condicionar a segurança global da estrutura. Nas peças produzidas e ensaiadas com betões de menor resistência, o aumento da taxa de armadura não se refletiu num acréscimo da capacidade de carga, havendo portanto um subaproveitamento da capacidade resistente das armaduras. Todavia, quando se utilizou betões de maior resistência, o aumento da taxa de armadura já se refletiu num acréscimo da capacidade resistente da subestrutura.

Esta tese apresenta uma configuração em que, numa rede social regida pelo princípio da ligação preferencial, nós periféricos buscam inflacionar artificialmente seus índices de centralidade, medida pelo grau de entrada, por meio do privilégio temporário da reciprocidade de ligações com outros nós periféricos. Para construir este cenário, criou-se uma rede com as características de uma rede acadêmica de citações entre artigos, em que os nós são artigos publicados por um conjunto de periódicos, e as ligações entre eles são as citações que cada artigo faz a outros artigos existentes. Esta rede foi condensada em outra, na qual os nós são os periódicos aos quais cada artigo da primeira rede está associado, e as ligações são o total de citações que os artigos de um periódico faz aos artigos de cada outro periódico. Implementou-se um método de simulação computacional, no qual, durante alguns ciclos, foram manipulados parâmetros relacionados à quantidade total de ligações (citações) entre periódicos periféricos, de forma a induzir os efeitos desejados de reciprocidade periférica, alterando a lógica de direcionamento de citações pela atribuição de maior probabilidade para que artigos de outros periódicos periféricos recebessem ligações, afastando-se da lógica da ligação preferencial, porém sem alterar qualquer outra característica intrínseca que representasse a capacidade de um artigo ou periódico atrair novas ligações. Chamou-se esta alteração da lógica de alocação de ligações entre periódicos periféricos de Comportamento Estratégico. Observou-se que o Comportamento Estratégico é capaz de trazer benefícios de centralidade medida por grau para aqueles periódicos em que ele foi induzido, e prejuízos para os demais periódicos periféricos, porém não é suficiente para que eles saiam do quartil periférico de centralidade a que pertenciam antes da manipulação dos efeitos. Além disso, observou-se que, na ausência de elementos que alterem a capacidade intrínseca de atração de ligações de um periódico, a interrupção do Comportamento Estratégico levou aos níveis anteriores de centralidade. Também se observou que o Comportamento Estratégico acarretou em alterações de centralidade medida por autovetor estatisticamente significativas, porém não esperadas, mas que, após sua interrupção, esta retornou aos patamares anteriores à indução dos efeitos.

Nos textos de Provérbios 1,20-23; 8 e 9, encontra-se o instigante símbolo da sabedoria mulher, que possui uma longa e controvertida história de interpretação. Ao analisar as ligações textuais entre estes textos e o poema de Pr 31, descobrimos que o símbolo da sabedoria mulher inspira-se na mulher da vida real, que participa corajosamente na reconstrução da história e das relações do povo de Judá, no período pós-exílico. Estas ligações desvelam uma grande valorização da mulher e sua proximidade com Deus ao apresentá- la com o poder de oferecer vida (Pr 8,35; 9,6) e de cuidá-la (Pr 31), vivenciando e transmitindo valores éticos fundamentais para as relações cotidianas da casa (Pr 1,8; 6,20; 31,2-9.26). Este símbolo carrega ainda a memória de antigos cultos realizados na casa para celebrar e garantir a vida. Embora estes rituais contivessem a memória de Deusas, eles não eram opostos ao culto de Javé, pois, dentro da dinâmica da casa, estavam inteiramente integrados na religião de Israel pela priorização da vida e pela prática da jus tiça. Esses textos de Provérbios atestam uma grande mudança na visão da mulher. A origem desta nova visão encontra-se na época do cativeiro, quando já não havia templo e nem um governo que canalizasse a organização do povo e sua luta pela libertação. A casa passa a ter funções de prover a subsistência e de transmitir as tradições religiosas do povo bíblico com a finalidade de obter a inspiração e a força necessárias para garantir o futuro. Na casa interiorana, a mulher tem autoridade e liderança, apesar dos preconceitos da sociedade patriarcal. É no pequeno espaço da casa judaíta que o movimento da sabedoria mulher situa-se, gerando relações de inclusão e de solidariedade, na época da dominação do 2º templo, com suas normas sobre a impureza.(AU)
ERVING GOFFMAN, AS INTERAÇÕES NO COTIDIANO ESCOLAR, DESVENDANDO O ESTIGMA DENTRO DA INCLUSÃO ESCOLAR

As pessoas com deficiências são excluídas da sociedade devido à marca negativa de descrédito recebida pelo meio social - por sua aparência ou seu modo de ser diferentes - que os coloca fora da norma classificando-os como seres desviantes. No cotidiano escolar essas marcas se afirmam e se reproduzem, não promovendo às pessoas com deficiências uma superação desse estigma. A pesquisa visa analisar como o estigma incorporado pelos alunos com deficiências influencia no processo de interação e inclusão escolar, de forma a estudar indícios de como se desenvolve o processo de estigmatização no cotidiano escolar sob a luz dos pensamentos de Erving Goffman. O presente estudo utiliza-se uma revisão de literatura especifica do tema, fundamentada nos estudos de Erving Goffman, conjuntamente à pesquisa empírica baseada na etnografia vivenciada pelo autor em seus estudos de comunidade, foram utilizadas como estratégias de pesquisa, entrevistas com três professores e observações registradas por meio de de observação de cenas do cotidiano escolar de ´duas escolas públicas do estado de SPSão Paulo . No capítulo 1 buscamos entender os constructos de Goffman principalmente por meio de sua trajetória acadêmica, no capítulo 2 o trabalho centrou-se na compreensão da interação social e principalmente na questão definida pelo autor como ordem da interação, em queentende-se que as pessoas são autores dentro de um palco social, no capítulo 3. a pesquisa aborda o termo estigma e explica sua influência na interação e no avanço das pessoas com deficiência. Por fim, o trabalho se encerra no capítulo .4 apresentando a análise das entrevistas e dos registros das cenas do cotidiano escolar. As cenas selecionadas apresentam os atores envolvidos, o cenário, e o enredo das interações, identificando as estratégias do estigma incorporado pelos alunos com deficiência e buscando ligações com as políticas inclusivas e as escolas brasileira. A pesquisa identificou que a escola, como meio de socialização e criação de saberes, possui um papel importante neste processo de mudança, apesar de muitas vezes reproduzir o estigma social. Observamos então que a escola pode auxiliar na mudança do olhar que exclui, à maneira que mostra algumas máscaras do social e da própria inclusão; no entanto é importante salientar que sua renovação e de seus agentes sociais deve valorizar as diferenças para construção de novos conhecimentos.(AU)
A inserção do técnico em saúde bucal na estratégia saúde da família no estado do Rio Grande do Norte

An oral health technician is a profession in odontology whose own functions are defined in FEDERAL LAW NUMBER 11889, which can act for prevention, recovery and promotion of oral health. According to the web site, Of Primary Health Attention Department. Health Ministry Of Brazilian Federal Republic, you can see through historical cover, as regards Health Family Strategy that, in Rio Grande Do Norte, There are nowadays eight TSB equipments in use. Objective: The aim of this study is to find out the reasons of the inclusion of those technicians in public service, no matter the importance of this work. Method: It is about a quantitive study and a kind of exploring type, taking into account that there are not any similar previous ones. We divide it into two parts: as regards the first one, these technicians were registered in a map using the information of the Formation Schools and Class Counsel to know how and where they are. During the moment of this study, an application (or no application) of the mouth health equipments was done. They tried to discover in this process which elements contribute to the efficiency (or not) of this technical work done all together in equipment work. As regards the second part, the coordinators of Municipal Mouth Health answered to a survay that contained open and closed questions through telephone calls. The sample was defined by a raffle taking into account the work contained in municipalities. Results: There are 1053 technicians.94,3% of them are women, devided in all the health regions. As regards interview, 96,9% of oral health coordinators considered that it is very important to have an oral health technician in odontology. 92,2% would reccomend its inclusion in equipments related to mouth health, dealing to familly health . 76% have never talked before to the Health Secretary in this municipality. this spreading out could be related to financial resources and 51,6% mentioned the importance of improving the physical structure to make this spreading out possible. Conclusions: Oral Health technicians in Rio Grande Do Norte are not being adequatly used by public service, because they do not introduce themselves or act as Oral Health auxiliaries. It is important to increase concience about the importance of this category in odontology. we also say it is necesasary to invert money in a reform of the Basic Health Unities and the inclusion of these workers. On the other hand the role of the state and the public health militancy is questioned in the fulfilment of this process
Estudo teórico de intermediários tetraédricos acidez / basicidade e estereosseletividade enzimáticos

The present work aimed first, the theoretical study of tetrahedral intermediate stability formed from carbonyl addition reactions using the second (MP2) and third (MP3) order Møller–Plesset perturbation theory. Linear correlations between electronic energy difference of reactions with Wiberg Indexes and C-O bond lengths were obtained, and was observed that the stability of adducts formed depends directly of electronic density involved between these atoms. The knowing of electronic parameters of these structures has an important hole due to the large use on reactions that in his course forms this tetrahedral intermediate. Employing the ONIOM (B3LYP:AMBER) methodology, was evaluated the stereoselectivity of a enzymatic reaction between CAL B enzyme and a long chain ester. In this study, were obtained the electronic energies of ground state and intermediate state of transesterification rate-determing step from two possible proquirals faces Re and Si. The objective was study the enantioselectivity of CAL B and rationalizes it using quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM). A theoretical study employing inorganic compounds was performed using ab initio CBS-QB3 method aiming to find a link between thermodynamic and equilibrium involving acids and bases. The results observed showed an excellent relationship between difference in Gibbs free energy, ΔG of acid dissociation reaction and ΔG of hydrolysis reaction of the corresponding conjugate base. It was also observed, a relationship between ΔG of hydrolysis reaction of conjugate acids and their corresponding atomic radius showing that stability plays an important role in hydrolysis reactions. The importance of solvation in acid/base behavior when compared to theoretical and experimental ΔG´s also was evaluated.

In this work it were developed synthetic and theoretical studies for clerodane-type diterpenes obtained from Croton cajucara Benth which represents one of the most important medicinal plant of the Brazil amazon region. Specifically, the majoritary biocompound 19-nor-clerodane trans-dehydrocrotonin (t-DCTN) isolated from the bark of this Croton, was used as target molecule. Semi-synthetic derivatives were obtained from t-DCTN by using the followed synthetic procedures: 1) catalytic reduction with H2, 2) reduction using NaBH4 and 3) reduction using NaBH4/CeCl3. The semi-synthetic 19-nor-furan-clerodane alcohol-type derivatives were denominated such as t-CTN, tCTN-OL, t-CTN-OL, t-DCTN-OL, t-DCTN-OL, being all of them characterized by NMR. The furan-clerodane alcohol derivatives t-CTN-OL and tCTN-OL were obtained form the semi-synthetic t-CTN, which can be isolated from the bark of C. cajucara. A theoretical protocol (DFT/B3LYP) involving the prevision of geometric and magnetic properties such as bond length and angles, as well as chemical shifts and coupling constants, were developed for the target t-DCTN in which was correlated NMR theoretical data with structural data, with satisfactory correlation with NMR experimental data (coefficients ranging from 0.97 and 0.99) and X-ray diffraction data. This theoretical methodology was also validated for all semi-synthetic derivatives described in this work. In addition, topological data from the Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules (QTAIM) showed the presence of H-H and (C)O--H(C) intramolecular stabilized interactions types for t-DCTN e t-CTN, contributing to the understanding of the different reactivity of this clerodanes in the presence of NaBH4.

The advance of drilling in deeper wells has required more thermostable materials. The use of synthetic fluids, which usually have a good chemical stability, faces the environmental constraints, besides it usually generate more discharge and require a costly disposal treatment of drilled cuttings, which are often not efficient and require mechanical components that hinder the operation. The adoption of aqueous fluids generally involves the use of chrome lignosulfonate, used as dispersant, which provides stability on rheological properties and fluid loss under high temperatures and pressures (HTHP). However, due to the environmental impact associated with the use of chrome compounds, the drilling industry needs alternatives that maintain the integrity of the property and ensure success of the operation in view of the strong influence of temperature on the viscosity of aqueous fluids and polymers used in these type fluids, often polysaccharides, passives of hydrolysis and biological degradation. Therefore, vinyl polymers were selected for this study because they have predominantly carbon chain and, in particular, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) for resisting higher temperatures and partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA) and clay by increasing the system's viscosity. Moreover, the absence of acetal bonds reduces the sensitivity to attacks by bacteria. In order to develop an aqueous drilling fluid system for HTHP applications using PVP, HPAM and clay, as main constituents, fluid formulations were prepared and determined its rheological properties using rotary viscometer of the Fann, and volume filtrate obtained by filtration HTHP following the standard API 13B-2. The new fluid system using polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with high molar weight had higher viscosities, gels and yield strength, due to the effect of flocculating clay. On the other hand, the low molecular weight PVP contributed to the formation of disperse systems with lower values in the rheological properties and fluid loss. Both systems are characterized by thermal stability gain up to around 120 ° C, keeping stable rheological parameters. The results were further corroborated through linear clay swelling tests.

The discussion about rift evolution in the Brazilian Equatorial margin during the South America-Africa breakup in the Jurassic/Cretaceous has been focused in many researches. But rift evolution based on development and growth of faults has not been well explored. In this sense, we investigated the Cretaceous Potiguar Basin in the Equatorial margin of Brazil to understand the geometry of major faults and the influence of crustal heterogeneity and preexisting structural fabric in the evolution of the basin internal architecture. Previous studies pointed out that the rift is an asymmetrical half-graben elongated along the NE-SW direction. We used 2D seismic, well logs and 3D gravity modeling to analyze four major border fault segments and determine their maximum displacement (Dmax) and length (L) ratio in the Potiguar Rift. We constrained the 3D gravity modeling with well data and the interpretation of seismic sections. The difference of the fault displacement measured in the gravity model is in the order of 10% compared to seismic and well data. The fault-growth curves allowed us to divide the faulted rift border into four main fault segments, which provide roughly similar Dmax/L ratios. Fault-growth curves suggest that a regional uniform tectonic mechanism influenced growth of the rift fault segments. The variation of the displacements along the fault segments indicates that the fault segments were formed independently during rift initiation and were linked by hard and soft linkages. The latter formed relay ramps. In the interconnection zones the Dmax/L ratios are highest due to interference of fault segment motions. We divided the evolution of the Potiguar Rift into five stages based on these ratios and correlated them with the major tectonic stages of the breakup between South America and Africa in Early Cretaceous.

In this work a chitosan (CS) ionically crosslinked were manufactured by treatment with sulfuric acid solution for application in the treatment of wastewater from oil industry. Two crosslinking process were developed: homogeneous and heterogeneous. In the homogeneous process the ratio molar of SO42-/ NH3+ (1:6 and 1:4) were the variable analyzed, denominated CS16 and CS14 respectively. In the heterogeneous process the soaking time of the membranes in sulfuric acid solution were the variable studied, being used times of 5 (CS5) and 30 (CS30) minutes. FTIR-ATR results indicated no changes in the characteristics of chitosan after homogeneous crosslinking process, while heterogeneous crosslinking showed formation of ionic bonds between protonated groups from chitosan and the crosslinking agent sulfate ions. TG/DTG and XRD analysis confirmed the formation of these interactions, as also shown the new structure on the surface region of CS5 and CS30 membranes compared to CS, CS16 e CS14. Swelling test in aqueous medium have shown that crosslinking process reduced the membrane sorption capacity. Swelling test in acid medium demonstrated that CS16 and CS14 membranes increasing the adsorption capacity up to a maximum percentage of 140% approximately, whereas the CS5 e CS30 reached a maximum of 60%. The mechanical properties indicated the stiff and ductile behavior of crosslinked membrane. Adsorption experiments of CuCl2 results that CS16 membranes reached the efficiency maximum with 73% of copper removal at pH 5.0 and 87% at pH 4.0. The experiments with CuSO4 also obtained efficiency maximum to the CS16 membrane and 80% to the removal of Cu2+ ions. Also was verified that the increase of concentration and temperature cause a decrease in the adsorption capacity for all membranes. Kinetics study indicated that pseudo-second-order obtained characterized better the membranes. Equilibrium studies demonstrated that the CS, CS16 and CS14 follow the Langmuir model, whereas CS5 and CS30 follows Freundlich model. Filtration experiments results with rejection maximum to the CS16 and CS5 membranes, reaching 92 and 98% respectively.

Adsorption experiments of CuCl2 results that CS16 membranes reached the efficiency maximum with 73% of copper removal at pH 5.0 and 87% at pH 4.0. The experiments with CuSO4 also obtained efficiency maximum to the CS16 membrane and 80% to the removal of Cu2+ ions. Also was verified that the increase of concentration and temperature cause a decrease in the adsorption capacity for all membranes. Kinetics study indicated that pseudo-second-order obtained characterized better the membranes. Equilibrium studies demonstrated that the CS, CS16 and CS14 follow the Langmuir model, whereas CS5 and CS30 follows Freundlich model. Filtration experiments results with rejection maximum to the CS16 and CS5 membranes, reaching 92 and 98% respectively.

This thesis aims to present a study of the Fibonacci sequence, initiated from a simple problem of rabbits breeding and the Golden Ratio, which originated from a geometrical construction, for applications in basic education. The main idea of the thesis is to present historical records of the occurrence of these concepts in nature and science and their influence on social, cultural and scientific environments. Also, it will be presented the identification and the characterization of the basic properties of these concepts and howthe connection between them occurs,and mainly, their intriguing consequences. It is also shown some activities emphasizing geometric constructions, links to other mathematics areas, curiosities related to these concepts and the analysis of questions present in vestibular (SAT-Scholastic Aptitude Test) and Enem(national high school Exam) in order to show the importance of these themes in basic education, constituting an excellent opportunity to awaken the students to new points of view in the field of science and life, from the presented subject and to promote new ways of thinking mathematics as a transformative science of society.
