The aluminum includes several properties with excellent relation between weight and mechanical resistance. With technological advances, increasingly demand the development of new alloys and other production processes in order to reduce the cost of production and insert these new alloys in broader applications. The process of continuous caster (TRC promoted the unite of the aluminum smelting process with the first stage of rolling, making it most economical through the merger these two phases besides transform the continuous casting process. The AA8xxx series is one of the most versatile aluminum alloys and the most often used in continuous caster process provided a great potential application in the market. In order to further, optimize the process it is necessary to increase awareness of the aluminum solidification phenomena associated with the addition of grain refiner, and control of some aluminum production parameters in the process (production rate, metal temperature, etc.). In this study, AA8011 alloy samples were taken in the raw state obtained by the continuous casting process. The samples were laminated to a thickness of 7mm during the process itself and analyzed at three points along its width by microstructural analysis throughout its thickness, the variation rate of addition of the grain refiner in order to assess the influence of this addition with crystallographic formation and some formation of intermetallic precipitates during the solidification. Through this work, it was possible to improve the knowledge related to the addition of refiner with the monitoring of these production processes

Mapeamento dos compartimentos de relevo do município de Estrela do Norte-SP e adjacências

The Geomorphology is to study the relevant object, which is the substrate where there are social relations, where society draws the natural resources for their survival and structure its immediate surroundings. In this context, the geomorphological map is currently considered as an important tool in landscape research. The landscapes of the city of Estrela do Norte-SP and surroundings consist mostly of geological substratum of sedimentary rock formations of Adamantina and Santo Anastácio (IPT, 1981a). Geomorphologically dominated by large reliefs of gently rolling hills tops and pedologicamente, the Oxisols and Ultisols Red-Yellow (Oliveira et al., 1999), which historically without proper management, formed a serious degradation of erosive framework in the study area. Thus, this study aimed to produce a map of the major compartments of the municipality Estrela do Norte-SP and surrounding areas, using techniques of digital stereoscopy. Direct descendant of the music of the Black Atlantic, hip hop became the spokesman of excluded minorities, for example setting up of the reunification that is geographically separated through communication. The hip hop appropriated new forms of mass communication, allowing the reworking of the story through a counter-hegemonic discourse that seeks self-knowledge and appreciation of the roots of black people. The street culture is the narrative of disenfranchised youth, generating narrative of inclusion, which gave a space of enunciation periphery enabling them to intersubjective recognition. This project aims to discuss the role of hip hop as an agent conscientizing youth peripherals in order to bring to the debate the form of identity construction around the peripheral street culture since, as an intervention that acts as a symbolic system guiding cultural practices and attitudes of these young people. Methodologically, we analyzed specific bibliographical about hip hop and literature originating from the periphery itself. Selected discography of some rap groups. They are Racionais Mc's, 509-E and DJ Hum and Thaíde that constitute the vanguard of hip hop in Brazil. We use music from rapper Emicida this while some contemporary exponents of rap, with national and international. Over the last decades of the 20th century, our society started an endless search for an ideal of beauty, advertised intensely by mass communication media. The concept of beauty pursued is being young, beautiful and thin. Thus, teenagers eventually die in the search for an ideal of body dominated by fat-fearing ideas. This article is a report about the field experience, during the collection of data for elaborating our Master’s Degree Dissertation on anorexia and adolescence. We went through an internship in an Eating Disease Program of a Mental Health Ambulatory from a Public University in the State of Sao Paulo, where we were able to experience the service organization, attention to users and the experience of anorexia, by the users in treatment. As the main result from this experience, it is possible to indicate the clientele profile, comprised predominantly by teenage girls, obsessed with the incessant pursuit of being thinner.

The quality and efficiency in straw cutting are determinants in the sowing process, according to the occurrence of "tamp" and stops, the magnitude of the straw removal or even the known effects of the seed "envelopment" where the cutting mechanism can not cut the remaining straw. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of different mechanisms for straw cutting of a seeder individualized in different amounts of crop coverage artificially added in a clay soil. The experiment was conducted at Unesp – Sao Paulo State University in the Experimental Farm Lageado, belonging to the College of Agricultural Sciences - Unesp, Botucatu. The experimental design was split plot with four replications, with main plots consisting of five quantities of black oat straw, in area with no-tillage system and subplots of three opening furrows mechanisms, which are: plane disk (PD), corrugated disk (CD) and wavy disk (WD). The wavy disk provided greater rolling resistance, reducing the speed of the set (tractor and equipment). The plane cutting disk showed the highest values of mobilized soil area, deeper penetration into the soil, requiring lower values of vertical force and higher values of lateral force. Regarding the type of waste and doses used, they offered no resistance to cutting and there was no change in the horizontal force on straw.

The object of this study is a glass heating machine for rolling process, designed in 2006 and which is manufactured regularly. By customer request it is intended to increase the production capacity of this machine.
