Le code-switching comme ressource stratégique pour la gestion de l'interaction multilingue : coordination et leadership dans un groupe de travail

In this article, we analyze a multilingual interaction in a students' working group and hypothesize a correlation between management of languages in interaction and leadership. We consider Codeswitching as one of the most relevant observables in multilingual interaction and attempt to analyze how it is used by speakers. After a brief presentation of three theoretical and analytical conceptions of Code-switching in interaction (Auer, Mondada & Myers Scotton), we define Code-switching as an interactional, strategical, multilingual resource exploited by speakers to achieve various interactional and non interactional goals. We then show in two CA-like analysis how multilingual strategical resources occur in the interactional practices of the analyzed working group, and how they are exploited by speakers in order to organize interaction, work, tasks, and to construct one's leadership. We also consider the metadiscourses of the students about their own practices and multilingualism in general, in order to confront them to their actual multilingual practices. We draw the hypothesis that discrepancies observed between metadiscourses and practices can be explained through the development of (meta)discourses showing a unilingual conception in describing multilingual practices.

Le Groupe Prévention et Traitement des Plaies des Hospices-CHUV [The Hospices-CHUV's Wound Prevention and Treatment Group]

The treatment of wounds is a challenge that caregivers of all specialities encounter daily in the care of an ageing population and chronically ill patients. An interdisciplinary group has been created in recent years within the Hospices-CHUV to assist caregivers in their care of patients with wounds. This group has developed a variety of tools to assist decision-making and offers a range of continuing education for those employees involved in wound care. The authors describe the approach of the group and the documents produced during the first two years of experience.

Distribution des fourmis des bois et espèces apprentées (Hymenoptera, Formicidae, genre Formica) dans le canton de Vaud

This article shows the current distribution of seven ant species of the genus Formica (Hymenoptera, Formicidae, Formicinae) in the canton Waadt. Five species of wood ants (Formica subgenus Formica s.str.: F. rufa, F. polyctena, F. pratensis, F. lugubris et F. paralugubris) and two close species F (Formica) truncorum) et F. (Raptiformica) snaguinea) were investigated. The records originate from different surveys between 1996 and 2009 and offer the opportunity of an up to date overview of the species distribution.

La reconnaissance et le sens du travail : deux dimensions au coeur des processus de préservation de la santé mentale chez les professionnels des interventions d'urgences médicales préhospitalières

Le travail en situations d'urgence, notamment médicale, comporte de nombreux facteurs de risque pour la santé mentale. Cependant, des études récentes suggèrent que la reconnaissance de même que certains aspects relatifs au sens du travail pourraient permettre aux individus de préserver leur équilibre psychique malgré la présence de stresseurs importants.Nous avons effectué une étude portant sur la santé au travail pour des ambulanciers travaillant en Suisse romande. Dans un premier temps, une phase qualitative centrée sur l'observation du travail réel a été effectuée. Les observations ont été effectuées dans 11 services pour un total de 416 heures d'observation. Dans un second temps, un questionnaire a été développé et administré à l'ensemble des ambulanciers de Suisse romande.Notre étude a notamment permis de confirmer l'importance de la reconnaissance et du sens du travail pour les ambulanciers. Les multiples réformes qui ont touché les administrations publiques ont profondément transformé l'environnement de travail des employés, les projetant dans une ère nouvelle appelée ici "l'après-fonctionnariat". Ils font actuellement face à de nouvelles conditions d'emploi et manières de travailler ayant pour objectif de rendre le service public davantage performant. Avec quels impacts sur leurs identités et leurs motivations au travail ? Voici les résultats d'une recherche réalisée en Suisse.
