It presents the dynamics at work in 36 first division leagues in UEFA member countries. This edition covers our biggest ever survey comprising more than 520 clubs and 13,000 footballers. Statistical indicators relative to nine thematics (morphology, age, experience training, origin, etc.) allow the comparison of player profiles and squad compositions at league and club level. Through easily-understable regression analyses, the Study brings to light the principle differences between clubs and leagues according to economic and sporting level of championships. La inserció laboral és un procés d' intervenció educati va, com un procés d'aprenentatge progressiu d 'habits personals, d 'habi litats socials, de competencies bas iques, professionals i transversals per al desenvolupament d' una ocupació que ha de portar la persona a la integració social i a una vida autonoma. La inserció laboral per competenc ies es proposa com a metodologia d' intervenc ió. Es fa una revisió de les competenc ies necessaries deis professionals de la inserció laboral encarregats d' aquesta intervenció i que acompanyen en els diferents moments de presa de decisions sobre I' itinerari professional de les persones amb dificultats d' inserc ió laboral.

InserQual és un protocol nascut al tercer sector que garanteix a les entitats la quali tat del procés d'acompanyament a la inserció laboral. Les enlitats ques' hi dediquen acostumen a treballara partir de l' ilinerari lineal class ic,queconsidera la inserciócom un procés lineal i ordenat que va de I' atur a I'ocupació. InserQual reformula aquest itinerari aportant la imatge de la rotonda. Aquesta aporta a I' itinerari un valor afegitde fl ex ibilitat i adequació a les necessitats de cada usuari/aria. Job accessibility, employment and job-education mismatch in the metropolitan area of Barcelona

This paper analyses the effect of job accessibility by public and private transport on labour market outcomes in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Beyond employment, we consider the effect of job accessibility on job-education mismatch, which represents a relevant aspect of job quality. We adopt a recursive system of equations that models car availability, employment and mismatch. Public transport accessibility appears as an exogenous variable in the three equations. Even though it may reflect endogenous residential sorting, falsification proofs suggest that the estimated effect of public transport accessibility is not entirely driven by the endogenous nature of residential decisions.

Työvoimapula ja osaaminen: analyysi mediateksteistä

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selventää miten Talouselämä-lehti tuo esille yritysten kokemaa työvoimapulaa ja sen hallintakeinoja erityisesti osaaja näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tulkitaTalouselämä-lehden artikkeleihin perustuvan empiirisen aineiston perusteella sekä aikaisemman kirjallisuuden perusteella, millä keinoilla yritykset voivat varautua työvoimapulaan ja menestyä kilpailussa niukoilla työmarkkinoilla. Tutkimus tuo esille myös Talouselämä lehden representoiman osaajan profiilin. Tutkimus onlaadullinen tutkimus. Aineisto koostuu Talouselämä-lehden vuoden 2002 ja toukokuun 2006 välisenä aikana ilmestyneistä artikkeleista. Tuloksina saatiin selville, että Talouselämä-lehti tuo esille työvoimapulaa laadullista ja määrällistä työvoimapulaa kuvaavien ja asiantuntijoiden varoittelevien ja neuvovien puheiden kautta. Tutkimuskontekstin sisällä osaavan työvoiman pula koetaan merkittävämpänä ongelmana kuin määrällinen työvoimapula. Yritysten tulee varautua henkilöstöstrategian kautta siihen, että yrityksen osaamistarpeet täyttyvät tulevaisuudessa. Osaajien houkutteluun tulee keksiä luovia ja yksilöllisiä keinoja sekä myydä avoimet työtehtävät osaajille markkinoinnillisin keinoin.

Why do we ignore risk in schooling decisions?

While uncertainty abounds in almost any decision on investment in schooling, it is mostly ignored in research and virtually absent in labour economics tekst books. This paper documents the scope for risk, discusses the tough disentanglement of heterogeneity and risk, surveys the analytical models, laments the absence of a good workhorse model and points out the challenges worth tackling: document ex ante risk that investors face, develop a tractable and malleable analytical model and integrate the option of consumption smoothing in analytical and empirical work. Hedging labour market risk in the stock market can be safely ignored.

Proyecto de inserción sociolaboral centro penitenciario de Pamplona

Este proyecto de intervención se basa en la elaboración y diseño de un Proyecto de Inserción Sociolaboral, aplicado a un caso real localizado en el Centro Penitenciario de Pamplona; la población diana es un grupo de internas entre 18 y 45 años. El objetivo general de este proyecto es: “capacitar a las internas en técnicas y habilidades encaminadas a lograr un alto grado de autonomía personal para la integración en el mercado laboral y a la sociedad”. El proyecto está dividido en diferentes partes: a) marco teórico como base conceptualizadora para la construcción del proyecto, b) el diagnóstico, a partir de la aplicación de diferentes técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas, c) formulación del proyecto, d) aplicación y e) evaluación del mismo. El proyecto pretende mostrar y concienciar sobre la situación actual del colectivo penitenciario en relación al ámbito laboral, mostrando cuáles son sus necesidades y las que les dificultan de cara a su integración laboral al salir de prisión, y por lo tanto, de cara a su mejor integración social. Se pretende trasladar a la sociedad a nivel general y en especial, al resto de centros penitenciarios, la importancia que tiene realizar este tipo de intervenciones y proyectos desde prisión.

Anàlisi al voltant del rol de l’educador/a social com a tècnic/a d’orientació i inserció laboral en el col·lectiu de joves, i reflexió sobre com aquest pot desenvolupar aquesta ocupació en el marc de l’educació formal, en concret, en la formació professional. Aquest anàlisi i reflexió es complementa amb una proposta d’acció socioeducativa que es centra en el disseny d’un servei d’orientació i inserció laboral per a joves estudiants, ubicat en un centre de formació professional.

More than Words? An Analysis on the Language and Structure of General Election Manifestos of the British Labour Party 1983-2005

The topic of this study is the language of the educational policies of the British Labour party in the General Election manifestos between the years 1983-2005. The twenty-year period studied has been a period of significant changes in world politics, and in British politics, especially for the Labour party. The emergence educational policy as a vote-winner of the manifestos of the nineties has been noteworthy. The aim of the thesis is two-fold: to look at the structure of the political manifesto as an example of genre writing and to analyze the content utilizing the approach of critical discourse analysis. Furthermore, the aim of this study is not to pinpoint policy positions but to look at what is the image that the Labour Party creates of itself through these manifestos. The analysis of the content is done by a method of close-reading. Based on the findings, the methodology for the analysis of the content was created. This study utilized methodological triangulation which means that the material is analyzed from several methodological aspects. The aspects used in this study are ones of lexical features (collocation, coordination, euphemisms, metaphors and naming), grammatical features (thematic roles, tense, aspect, voice and modal auxiliaries) and rhetoric (Burke, Toulmin and Perelman). From the analysis of the content a generic description is built. By looking at the lexical, grammatical and rhetorical features a clear change in language of the Labour Party can be detected. This change is foreshadowed already in the 1992 manifesto but culminates in the 1997 manifesto which would lead Labour to a landslide victory in the General Election. During this twenty-year period Labour has moved away from the old commitments and into the new sphere of “something for everybody”. The pervasiveness of promotional language and market inspired vocabulary into the sphere of manifesto writing is clear. The use of the metaphors seemed to be the tool for the creation of the image of the party represented through the manifestos. A limited generic description can be constructed from the findings based on the content and structure of the manifestos: especially more generic findings such as the use of the exclusive we, the lack of certain anatomical parts of argument structure, the use of the future tense and the present progressive aspect can shed light to the description of the genre of manifesto writing. While this study is only the beginning, it proves that the combination of looking at the lexical, grammatical and rhetorical features in the study of manifestos is a promising one.
