Gênero, educação e pobreza : Uma reflexão sobre a educação como contributo para a igualdade de gênero e para a redução da pobreza

O presente trabalho de investigação procura apresentar, à luz de uma história de vida inicialmente relatada, e embasado em diferentes perspetivas teóricas sobre gênero, educação e pobreza, novas possibilidades para uma educação mais comprometida e capaz de responder aos desafios da atualidade. Para tanto irá estabelecer relações entre a vertente individual de cada sujeito e as realidades da sociedade, através dos relatos de mulheres, cujas histórias têm como pano de fundo acontecimentos sociais, políticos e econômicos que desenham novas histórias. Neste sentido, este trabalho procura ser, acima de tudo, uma reflexão que faça convergir diferentes pontos de vista sobre o papel da educação na promoção da igualdade de gênero e como meio de mediação no combate à problemática da pobreza. RESUME: Ce travail cherche à présenter de nouvelles possibilités pour une éducation plus engagée et plus capable de répondre aux défis de l’actualité, à la lumiere d'une histoire de vie initialement racontée et ayant pour base différentes perspectives théoriques sur le genre, l’éducation et la pauvreté. Dans ce but, il établira des rapports entre le versant individuel de chaque sujet et les réalités de la société, moyennant des récits de femmes, dont les histoires présentent en tant que toile de fond des évenements sociaux, politiques et économiques qui dessinent de nouvelles histoires. Dans ce sens, ce travail cherche, surtout, une réflexion faisant la convergence de points de vue divers sur le rôle de l'éducation pour le développement de l’égalité de genre et en tant que moyen de médiation dans la lutte centre la pauvreté.

Violência e gênero

A unidade apresenta as correntes teóricas e as contestações acerca das questões que relacionam sexo e gênero – papéis masculino e feminino – à violência física ou simbólica, tanto nas relações heteroafetivas quanto nas relações homoafetivas. Mostra como a discriminação e a exclusão social se dão em relação às questões de gênero, como a os papéis de homens e de mulheres são pré-determinados de maneira cristalizada em uma visão sexista, como a questão da violência é vista das perspectivas de dominação masculina ou patriarcal e da perspectiva relacional, como o conceito de virilidade se constrói associado à violência, como a violência também é praticada por mulheres contra homens. Atenta para a necessidade de as práticas de saúde, em nível coletivo e individual, ampliarem sua abordagem e seus conhecimentos visando à oferta de atenção mais inclusiva e integral a pessoas de todos os gêneros.

Gênero e saúde no contexto da atenção ao homem e mulher

Mostra como os debates a respeito dos direitos humanos geraram políticas e diretrizes de proteção às pessoas em situação de violência, inclusive no Brasil, apontando, todavia, que a violência contra a mulher ainda é muito arraigada à cultura em uma estrutura social cujas relações de poder entre gêneros são assimétricas, atribuindo características sexistas a homens e mulheres. Apresenta os dados numéricos sobre a violência perpetrada, principalmente, por maridos, ex-maridos, namorados e ex-namorados, as diferentes formas de violência contra a mulher, a relação entre violência e baixo grau de escolaridade/dependência econômica da mulher, a crise do masculino com a possibilidade de uma relação mais igualitária, a permanência de valores e comportamentos ligados à masculinidade hegemônica que, paradoxalmente vitimiza também o homem. Aponta para a necessidade de desnaturalizar a violência em uma nova perspectiva de saúde coletiva, associada à cidadania e aos direitos humanos e de incluir, nessa atenção, o homem, tornando visíveis as suas demandas.

Caracterização morfológica das sementes e plântulas de seis espécies invasoras do gênero Solanum L

Morphological caracterization of the seeds and seedlings of six weed especies of the genus Solanum L. The seeds of the genus Solanum are very similar, however, the association of their external characteristics with the anatomical features, such as hilum shape, the texture and the type of the seed coat sculptures, as well as the curved (circulated or coiled) shape of the embryo, are parameters of great importance in the taxonomical identification at the species level. It is are presented the morphological descriptions of the genus Solanum and a more detailed description of each studied species in terms of seed and seedling structures, including illustrations and taxonomical keys for the identification of Solanum aculeatissimum Jacq., S. americanum Mill., S. ciliatum Lam., S. sisymbriifolium Lam., S. sordidum Sendt. e S. viarum Dunal. There are also indications of the common names, the type of reproduction and dispersion, the crops in which the species is considered as a weed and the agricultural seeds in which it is found as a weed seed.

Taxonomia do gênero Heliotropium L. (Heliotropiaceae) no Brasil

The taxonomy of the genus Heliotropium L. in Brazil was studied, revealing nine species and two varieties: H. amplexicaule Vahl, H. angiospermum Murray, H. curassavicum L., H. curassavicum var. argentinum I.M. Johnst., H. elongatum (Lehm.) I.M. Johnst., H. elongatum var. burchellii I.M. Johnst., H. indicum L., H. leiocarpum Morong, H. nicotianaefolium Poir., H. phylicoides Cham. and H. transalpinum Vell. Descriptions, illustrations, comments on relationships based on morphology and data on species distribution are presented.

O gênero Nectandra Rol. ex Rottb. (Lauraceae) no Estado do Paraná, Brasil

Nectandra Rol. ex Rottb. has 14 species in Paraná: Nectandra angustifolia (Schrader) Nees & Mart., N. cissiflora Nees, N. cuspidata Nees & Mart., N. grandiflora Nees & Mart., N. hihua (Ruiz & Pav.) Rohwer, N. lanceolata Nees & Mart., N. leucantha Nees & Mart., N. megapotamica (Sprengel) Mez, N. membranacea (Sw.) Griseb., N. nitidula Nees & Mart., N. oppositifolia Nees & Mart., N. paranaensis Coe-Teixeira, N. puberula (Schott) Nees and N. reticulata (Ruiz & Pav.) Mez. We present an identification key and species descriptions, as well as illustrations and data on phenology and geographic distribution. N. hihua is cited for the first time in Paraná State.

This work deals with a taxonomic study of the genus Euploca (Heliotropiaceae) in Brazil; seventeen species are recorded. A keyfor identification, descriptions, illustrations and comments, besides distribution, habitat, flowering and fruiting data for the species are presented.

Plasticidade neural: relações com o comportamento e abordagens experimentais

Behavioral adaptiveness to different situations as well as behavioral individuality result from the interrelations between environmental sitmuli and the responses of an organism.These kind of interrelationships also shape the neural circuits as well as characterize the plasticity and the neural individuality of the organism. Studies on neural plasticity may analyze changes in neural circuitry after environmental manipulations or changes in behavior after lesions in the nervous system. Issues on neural plasticity and recovery of function refer both to physiology and behavior as well as to the subjacent mechanisms related to morphology, biochemistry and genetics. They may be approached at the systemic, behavioral, cellular and molecular levels. This work intends to characterize these kinds of studies pointing to their relations with the analyis of behavior and learning.The analysis of how the environmental-organismic interrelationships affect the neural substrates of behavior is pointed as a very stimulating area for investigation.

As relações entre saber e poder em testes psicodiagnósticos a partir de M. Foucault

In this article my main objective is to approach some questions related to the tests used in psychodiagnostics processes of children who are considered as having learning difficulties. Having the book Discipline and Punish (1975/1986) by Foucault as theoretical basis, I intend to investigate the hypothesis that the child is considered ill or abnormal due to the factors related to imposed norms and not to organic aspects and/or neurological pathology. My interest is to analyse the signs that allow us to point out the written language conception of tests. This language is expected and privileged, however it may not be the language that the child uses and experiences every day.

Gênero e estresse em trabalhadores de uma universidade pública do estado de São Paulo

The aim of this paper was to identify, according to gender, the indexes of Mental Health and the Psychosocial Risk Factors in workers at a state University. A sample of 400 was randomly selected, 253 female and 147 male. They were assessed by means of The Questionnaire SWS Survey (Self, Work and Social) (Ostermann & Gutiérrez, 1992), validated in Brazil by Guimarães and Macfadden (1999). Univariate, bivariate, multivariate statistics were assessed. Significant associations emerged from Mental Health and Gender, and Psychosocial Risk Factors and Gender. Women showed greater Psychosocial Risk Factors, Work and Social Stress, worst mental health than men (p < 0.05), which place them at greater risk for developing physical and/or mental illness.
