La presencia del "flâneur" en "Tetralogie der Erinnerung" de Dieter Forte

Reflejando la ciudad moderna, el flâneur se encuentra atrapado entre dos tiempos: el presente, que se transforma continuamente, y el pasado, que permanece en forma de vestigios materiales. Desde su aparición en la literatura, la trayectoria del flâneur va ligada a los principales cambios históricos, sociales y culturales, que se plasman en distintas texturas urbanas. En todas ellas ejerce una función de nexo entre la ciudad antigua y la nueva que se superpone. El objeto del presente artículo es analizar la evolución de esta figura histórico y literaria como punto de partida para interpretar la obra en prosa Tetralogie der Erinnerung (1992-2004) de Dieter Forte.

O Barão de Rothschild e a questão do Acre

O autor reconstitui a criação do estado brasileiro do Acre, ressaltando os interesses estrangeiros subjacentes à disputa com a Bolívia. O protocolo pelo qual a Bolívia arrendava o território ao Bolivian Syndicate e a disposição de Rio Branco em reivindicar aquela região para o Brasil colocavam os dois países em rota de colisão. Nesse contexto surge a figura dúbia do Barão de Rothschild que propõe uma solução pacífica para o dissídio através do arbitramento da Grã Bretanha.

Der Auszug aus der Familie und die Folgen für die Geschwisterbeziehung : Eine systemische Betrachtung

AbstractFamilie ist als Sozialisationsinstanz Wegbegleiter und Unterstützer der Kinder auf ihrem Weg ins Erwachsenendasein. Nachdem sie die Schule abgeschlossen haben, ist für viele Kinder der Zeitpunkt gekommen, um „flügge“ zu werden. Sie bewerben sich um einen Ausbildungs- oder Studienplatz und ziehen für ihre berufliche Entwicklung in eine andere Stadt. Sie verlassen also das elterliche Nest und damit auch die gewohnte Umgebung. Neue Aufgaben warten auf sie und auch auf die Familienmitglieder, die „zurück“ bleiben. Eltern müssen lernen damit umzugehen, dass ihr Kind selbstständig ist/wird und nicht mehr so viel Hilfe/Unterstützung benötigt wie noch vor ein paar Jahren. Die Beziehung verändert sich, denn es beginnt ein Abnabelungsprozess. Dabei muss das Kind lernen Ent-scheidungen ohne seine Eltern zu treffen und die Eltern müssen lernen ihr Kind loszulas-sen. Diese eine Situation beinhaltet verschiedenste Entwicklungsaufgaben für unter-schiedliche Personen, welche mit Schwierigkeiten, Ängsten und Zielen verbunden sind. Wie sich die Situation für die ‚zurückgelassenen‘ Geschwister verändert und was der Aus-zug des älteren Geschwisterkindes für eine Auswirkung auf die Geschwisterbeziehung hat, wird auf Grundlage der Systemtheorie von Niklas Luhmann sowie Ergebnissen der Fami-lien- und Jugendsoziologie und der Geschwisterforschung in Hypothesen abgeleitet.

Al-Awadi-Raas-Rothschild (limb/pelvis/uterus-hypoplasia/aplasia) syndrome and WNT7A mutations: genetic homogeneity and nosological delineation.

The Al-Awadi-Raas-Rothschild syndrome (AARRS; OMIM 276820) and the Fuhrmann syndrome (FS; OMIM 228930) are distinct limb malformation disorders comprising different degrees of limb aplasia or hypoplasia. In 2006, Woods et al. found different recessive WNT7A mutations in one family segregating the AARRS phenotype and in a second family with FS. To explain the common genetic basis for the two clinically distinct disorders, functional studies were done showing that partial loss of WNT7A function resulted in FS, while complete loss of WNT7A function resulted in the more severe phenotype of AARRS. In spite of the elucidation of the molecular basis of AARRS, there remains to this day considerable diagnostic confusion that has culminated in the lumping of Schinzel phocomelia syndrome with AARRS; however, this phocomelic limb defect is quite different in its clinical aspect and pathogenesis from the limb findings of AARRS. Here, we report on a child with the AARRS phenotype and homozygosity for a non-conservative E72K mutation in WNT7A, underline the homogeneity of the WNT7A-associated AARRS phenotype, and propose differential diagnostic criteria for the AARRS reflecting the roles of WNT7A in limb development.

Records of Myodopsylla wolffsohni wolffsohni (Rothschild, 1903) (Siphonaptera, Ischnopsyllidae) on Myotis nigricans Schinz, 1821 (Chiroptera, Vespertilionidae), from the State of Paraná, Southern Brazil

The flea, Myodopsylla wolffsohni wolffsohni (Rothschild, 1903), had been recorded for the first time in the State of Paraná in 1940, on the bat, Myotis levis (I. Geoffroy, 1824). Previously, this species of flea had only been recorded on Myotis nigricans, in the Amazonian region. This is the second record of M. w. wolffsohni on M. nigricans in Brazil, and the first in the State of Paraná. Although this flea has been found on undetermined Chiroptera in the State of Santa Catarina, the present record represents the meridional limit of geographic distribution for the infestation on M. nigricans.

On Rothschild-Stiglitz as competitive pooling

Dubey and Geanakoplos [2002] have developed a theory of competitive pooling, which incorporates adverse selection and signaling into general equilibrium. By recasting the Rothschild-Stiglitz model of insurance in this framework, they find that a separating equilibrium always exists and is unique.We prove that their uniqueness result is not a consequence of the framework, but rather of their definition of refined equilibria. When other types of perturbations are used, the model allows for many pooling allocations to be supported as such: in particular, this is the case for pooling allocations that Pareto dominate the separating equilibrium.
