Constant social, cultural and political changes influence directly people’s life and define their needs and tastes. Trends have the role of signaling through these facts people’s preferences regarding to objects and can, therefore be connected with great design, as it works with project that is a planning activity for future. In this context, this study aimed to characterize trend jobs in Brazilians home designing methodology. For both: theoretical aspects were studied that led to reasoning, a field research in five Furniture industries Pole of Arapongas/PR was done, and a research for possible developmental reference of furniture in Brazil. Results indicated: misused and mistaken concepts of trend and ignorance on how they operate lack of knowledge about industries sector consumer profile, the concern about sales and not with consumer as “furniture user” and finally, the existence of Brazilian referential sources, but the lack of skilled professionals that could decode these sources.

A modernização da agricultura no Brasil e a produção do biocombustível como energia alternativa: uma reflexão crítica

This article discusses the policy implications of agricultural modernization implemented by the military - after 1964. This policy, which became known as the Green Revolution, on the one hand contributed to the development of big business, but another caused serious social and environmental impacts. Currently, not only in Brazil but all over the world, have been in a great debate about the need to find alternatives to contain the problems caused to the environment resulting from the use of high technology in the field. One alternative proposed by several researchers is to replace fossil fuels by biofuels. As we believe that the error is in the current model of agricultural production based on mass production, which serves the major markets, the attention in this article, the need to develop an agricultural model designed for small property, with the use of family work and agroecology.

A iniciação da aprendizagem motora de crianças de escola de esportes da cidade de São Paulo Brasil

The objective of this study was to determine which method (randomor block practice) has been used by physical education teachers working inschool sports with children from six to seven years, making use of descriptiveresearch, we apply a semi-structured questionnaire applied to ten (n=10)Physical Education Teachers, graduates of both sexes (04 men and 06 women)age between 24 and 41 years. Based on data collected across the sourcesfound in our literature we find that there is a teaching methodology for motorlearning among teachers in common showing that factors such as the numberof students in each class and especially the response of this group tasksguide the methodology to be applied is thus based on the skill of the teacher’sperception of the whole.

Mulheres na politica e na mídia Brasileira: breve histórico e cenário atual

Brazil was one of the four countries of Latin America to be elected in this century, the first time a woman for president. But does the fact of having a woman in the highest office of the Republic reflects the reality of women's political participation in Brazil? And how will the female representation in the media of the country? To answer these questions, this article is a literature review of these topics, showing that, despite having a woman in the highest office of the Republic, women's political participation and their representation in the media is lagging behind.

Participação de mulheres na gestão esportiva: uma revisão sistemática

During the last decades of the XX century occurred several demographic, cultural and social changes that directly affected the inclusion of women in the labor market. However many of them have found and still find barriers to work in various fields of endeavor and in the case of this study, the sports management. The purpose of this study was to assess through a systematic review, the participation of women in sports management, listing the main characteristics, challenges and difficulties. The research consisted of a systematic review of studies that discuss the thematic related to the participation of women in sport management in Brazil, including the Google Scholar database. The key words used and that generated proceeds were woman, sports management and women in sports administration. In the discussion and results has been possible to list the insert forms in a management position, the main ones being: by invitation, conduction or family relationship. The arguments about the limited participation of women in sports management and their encountered barriers are justified because there is a male domain and prejudice, resulting often the career waiver for these women. The profile of the sporting managers has found a predominance of men aged between 30-49 years old. For unavailability of articles, the present study was restricted to use only one database. In short, there is a lacuna in studies on women's participation in the administration or sporting management, with a prevalence of literature review articles. To expand overview on this issue would be important to carry out quantitative studies. It was concluded that the difficulty of women entering in sports management still seems to be a current problem and can only be minimized from a greater attention from the scientific community. Ciência de serviços no Brasil: proposta de aplicação aos agronegócios

Ao se verificar nas últimas décadas a composição dos setores econômicos nos chamados países desenvolvidos e em desenvolvimento, nota-se um grande avanço e predominância do setor de serviços na composição de seu Produto Interno Bruto, chegando a ser na maioria dos casos o mais importante setor gerador de divisas, emprego e desenvolvimento. A Ciência de Serviços (CS) traz hoje a necessidade estratégica de políticas públicas, de ensino profissional e de pesquisas para o fomento e desenvolvimento desta Ciência no Brasil como fator estratégico para garantir uma maior competitividade da economia brasileira. A partir da hipótese de utilização da CS e de uma revisão bibliográfica do tema, buscou-se evidenciar suas potenciais aplicações no agronegócio, de maneira que este se torne mais eficiente, coordenado e sincronizado com o avanço dos serviços na composição da economia contemporânea nacional.

Atendimentos decorrentes de queimaduras em serviços públicos de emergência no Brasil, 2009

O objetivo foi analisar os atendimentos por queimaduras em serviços de emergência, e fatores associados. Estudo transversal de 761 atendimentos coletados pelo Sistema de Vigilância de Violências e Acidentes em 2009. A maioria foi do sexo masculino (58,6%); adultos de 30 a 49 anos (23,1%) e crianças de 0 a 9 anos (23%). A residência foi o local de ocorrência mais frequente (62,1%), especialmente para crianças e mulheres; em seguida comércio, serviços, indústria e construção (19,1%), especialmente entre homens de 20 a 49 anos. Queimaduras no trabalho foram 29,1% do total. Uso de álcool chegou a 5,1%. Agentes causadores em todas as idades: substância quente (43,6%) e fogo/chama (24,2%); na faixa produtiva: substâncias químicas. As queimaduras entre 0 e 14 anos foram associadas com residência, substância e objeto quente e internação hospitalar; entre os de 15 a 49 anos associaram-se com fogo/chama e choque elétrico, via pública e alta da emergência. Estratégias de prevenção para crianças e trabalhadores devem ser implantadas.
