A problemática atual da urbanização coloca questões delicadas referentes ao seu ritmo de crescimento, sua relação com o desenvolvimento econômico, o aparecimento de novas formas urbanas e sua relação com as novas maneiras de articulação capitalista. A compreensão espacial do lazer nas cidades apresenta-se, assim, como tema de grande importância para as sociedades contemporâneas. O interesse e a importância de tratar esse tema na cidade do Natal - enfocando-se a distribuição dos espaços públicos de lazer nos diversos bairros e sua utilização pelos seus habitantes - justifica-se pelo fato dessa capital apresentar um crescimento populacional surpreendente nos últimos anos, tendo uma expansão urbana desordenada que se reflete na carência de infra-estrutura urbana e numa forte segregação espacial. Foram feitas a verificação da disponibilidade de espaços públicos de lazer nos bairros e a identificação dos diversos fatores que interferem na utilização desses espaços, visando contribuir para a compreensão do fenômeno do lazer urbano, bem como, para o aprofundamento da discussão acerca da função social desses, que possibilite montar estratégias para a utilização de forma democrática desses espaços nas cidades. Para tanto foi necessária uma articulação teórica das questões peltinentes ao espaço urbano e ao lazer, que formam uma área epistemológica de interseção quando trata das questões referentes ao direito à cidadania, onde está contemplado o direito à cidade (á moradia e ao seu entomo). Os dados para que caracterizaram as vivências do lazer nos espaços públicos da cidade foram levantados em três fontes: nos documentos (plano diretor da cidade, planos de políticas públicas entre outros), nas entrevistas com a comunidade e nas observações diretas dos espaços de manifestações do lazer. A análise aponta que existe uma distribuição irregular dos espaços públicos de lazer, por bairro e Região Administrativa da cidade do Natal que apresenta relação com a segregação espacial por classe, existente na cidade, fruto da dinâmica econômica e práticas sociais aqui existentes. Constata-se ainda que a camada desprovida desses equipamentos de lazer não age espontaneamente, nem através de seus representantes e mandatários institucionais, em prol da distribuição de oportunidades nesses campos, possibilitando que a segregação continue em círculos viciosos, pois a própria segregação dificulta o encontro, a percepção das diferenças e o conflito, que podem ser resgatados numa nova forma de organização do cotidiano

No gênero Staphylococcus, o S. aureus com resistência à oxacilina é sem duvida alguma o patógeno de maior importância, quando associado às infecções hospitalares, sendo responsável por elevadas taxas morbidade e mortalidade. Este estudo descreve a epidemiologia e perfil de sensibilidade de linhagens de S. aureus procedentes de hospitais públicos de Macapá-Amapá. Todos os isolados usados neste trabalho foram novamente reisolados através de métodos convencionais da microbiologia e sistemas automatizados. As amostras com resistência à oxacilina foram todas submetidas ao teste screening com a cefoxitina 30 mcg. O tratamento estatístico dos dados revelou que houve predominância de S. aureus no sexo masculino (62,8%), sendo a média de idade dos pacientes de 20 anos, entretanto, a maior ocorrência foi na faixa etária de 0 a 10 anos, o hospital de maior prevalência foi o Hospital da Criança e do Adolescente (54,7%). A prevalência das amostras isoladas nos hospitais foi de 3,8%. Do total de amostras isolada (n=105), 25 (23,8%) foram resistentes à oxacilina. Essas amostras apresentaram resistência cruzada à Gentamicina (80%); Sulfazotrim (72%), Tetraciclina (64%), Eritromicina (60%), Clindamicina (44%), Norfloxacino (44%) e Quinupristina/Dalfopristina (32%). A vancomicina apresentou 100% de sensibilidade. Apesar dos diversos estudos realizados no Brasil e no mundo mostrarem altos índices de resistência do S. aureus à oxacilina, nesta pesquisa os níveis de resistência da bactéria nos hospitais públicos de Macapá ainda podem ser considerados baixos. Contudo, os resultados revelam a necessidade de vigilância sistemática, visando o controle e prevenção da disseminação de linhagens resistentes deste patógeno associado com infecção hospitalar.

This paper aims to provide guidelines for the development of communication strategies and relationship to a Private Institution of Higher Education (PIHE), having as initial activity of this process the definition and distinction of its various stakeholders. Currently, it has become necessary due to changes the scene of higher education has been through. In general, competition is greater, the demands of customers increased, causing the university management to take new directions in order to plan the activities in the most possible professional way. The study enables the public to identify needs and preferences of each group, allowing the creation of communication strategies and more targeted and relationships more prosperous and sustainable, making them competitive advantages in the midst of this tumultuous contemporary educational context. Therefore, it was developed a study of public interest of Faculdades Integradas de Bauru - FIB - coupled with the development of a field research, exploratory and descriptive to get subsidies for a project relationship for the various stakeholders of the institution

The ease and convenience provided by the Internet allow for the communication between the organization and its stakeholders to become rapid and effective. This fact can be good both for the organization and for the public. Keeping this in sight, the Internet as a public relations tool for communication between the organization and its stakeholders is the theme discussed throughout this study. Through bibliographic and exploratory research, this paper aims at pointing at effective tools afforded by the Internet that can be used by Public Relations. These tools can promote the relationship between organizations and its publics inserted on the Internet. In this way, the organization can influence publics in its favor. The present work investigates what strategies the Internet can contribute significantly to the field of Communication despite the fact that it is not able to completely replace traditional media

The growing population, purchasing power and changing the profile of Brazilian consumers are the facts to justify the increase in waste production in the country. According to the National Research Sanitation made by IBGE in 2000, Brazil produced 241,614 tons of waste per day, equivalent to approximately 90 million tons per year. This growth leads researchers to consider a better way to dump this material in order to mitigate the damage to population health and the environment. For this, one of the possible actions is the search for alternative disposal technological development, a possible solution being the construction of landfills. But many cities, especially those from regions of poor or agricultural base, do not always have sufficient resources and open spaces for the construction of a landfill as required by law. Fits like a context in which it operates as an alternative technology for inter-municipal consortia landfill and public-private partnerships in order to contribute to the sustainable development of cities. The law that regulates public consortia is the Federal Law 11.107 of April 2005, as the law that regulates and makes possible the Public-Private Partnership is the Federal Law 11.079 of 2004. Consortia are entities that bring together several municipalities, with or without the State and the Union to carry out joint actions that if were borne singly, not would achieve the same results or would lose a greater volume of resources, and would demand more time. The public-private partnership consist of one or more municipalities and a private company, selected by public tender, which becomes responsible for implementation, maintenance and operation of the landfill. This article presents an historical overview of the processes of genesis, development, crisis and reforms in public agricultural extension throughout the 1990s, offering an overview of its main determinants, based on the literature on the subject. In this way, we analyzed the process of constitution of institutional apparatuses for the offering of extension services and linking policies technical modernization of agriculture worldwide during the postwar period, weaving considerations on the Brazilian case. The article also examines the aspects that determined the emergence of a crisis of public extension occurred during the 1980s, amid intensifying criticism of the Green Revolution model of agriculture. Finally, the article seeks to highlight the connections between the crisis and the reforms of privatization of public extension occurred in several countries during the 1990s guided the redesign of its institutional forms, forms of financing, its goals, its target audience, the working methodologies and technological matrix advocated

Con la llegada de la era de la información, viendo esta era como la necesidad de informatizar, registrar y tratar una gran cantidad de datos mediante la tecnología, se está dando el paso de diversos procesos burocráticos a medios tecnológicos cambiando el papel por los datos almacenados en las computadoras. El DNI electrónico permite a un individuo identificarse mediante un dispositivo donde se almacenan los datos de éste para poder identificarse unívocamente ante aquellos trámites que antaño costaban largos procesos burocráticos en papel. Sabemos que las aplicaciones software son aquellos módulos formado por un conjunto de programas y rutinas que permiten a los diferentes tipos de computadores realizar tareas de manera parcial o totalmente automáticas. Por ello este proyecto demuestra todo el proceso de creación de un módulo software, que cómo comentamos en el primer párrafo, permitiría sobrellevar otros tantos procesos burocráticos como sería la petición del DNI y posterior escritura a mano en distintas situaciones. Todo ello orientado desde un estricto análisis desde el punto de vista de la ingeniería del software. ABSTRACT Due to the fact that we’re in the era of information technology, and from the perspective that this era means to computerize register and treat a big quantity of data through technologic means, we are stepping into a process where all the bureaucracy is being transferred from paper to digital storage models. Hence, the electronic DNI allows the citizen to identify himself univocally against processes that back in time where made through tedious and heavy-paper-work processes. We know that software apps are modules conformed by a set of instructions and programs that make possible the execution of partially or totally automated tasks. That’s why this project shows the process of the creation of a software module (app) that, as we stated before, would allow overcoming many other bureaucratic processes like the request to write down the national identification number. All of it focused to a strict analysis from software engineering’s point of view.
