ABSTRACT. The application of surveillance technology has proven to be one of the most important to increase competitiveness and improve the innovation activities of enterprises tools. Surveillance is based on capturing the information, usually patents and scientific publications most relevant to a given technological field and assess them to influence decision making. The classical phases are: search, analysis and communication of information. The work will support both commercial and other tools to be developed by the student, and will have as main objective to develop a methodology, based on monitoring to make decisions about technologies and in this case applied to multimedia technologies. The main objective in the proposed generic methodology for technological awareness (VT / IC) for decision making with an example application in multimedia technologies and later made explicit 3D TV. The need for the process of VT / CI support methodology is essential if we give it the importance it should have in the production cycle of any organization and especially in an organization involved in research and development (R + D + i). This methodology will allow, among other things, that these processes that make up the VT / IC can be integrated into an organization sharing production processes, management and direction of the organization. It will allow a measurement of its performance and possible changes for better performance. It will provide the possible elements involved in the VT / IC documentation, processes, tools, measuring elements of a defined system, published, measured and analyzed work. Finally an example of a consultation process VT / IC use generic search criteria proposed 3D TV. Structure of the PFC: To achieve these objectives the work has been divided into 6 stages: 1. PFC Description: A presentation of the PFC and its development. 2. Technology Watch: Concept Development of VT / IC, expected effects, benefits and risks of VT / IC concept of competitive intelligence (CI) concept applied technology watch and competitive intelligence (VT / IC). 3. Business analysis techniques where VT / IC is useful: to begin to understand how it should be the VT / IC analyze how an organization uses different analysis techniques and information provide each finally analyze how the VT / IC helps these analysis techniques. 4. Management information sources: analysis of the types of information sources and their associated search tools. 5. proposed methodology VT / IC: methodology development and operational deployment of a unit of VT / IC. 6. Observatory: by way of example, "3D TV".

ABSTRACT. When taking over a research project, a traditional surveillance of the environment is not enough. Mainly due to the changing the world, to the globalization, to how fast new technologies and products are developed, is necessary to make a systematic process that enables organizations or companies anticipate to technological changes. In this context, the design of methodologies based on the Technology Watch (TW) allows managing the innovative activity of organizations or companies facilitating the process of generating ideas for products or services development. For this reason, in this Thesis a strategy for applying Technological Watch methodologies applied to a R&D project studying Natural User Interfaces (NUI) has been designed. To achieve this goal, the starting point was the CETISME project methodologies, which are based on the Technology Watch and the Competitive Intelligence process, clearly identifying each of the phases that compose it: identification of objectives, selection of the information sources, storage, search and analysis of the information, and finally validating the information that concludes with the creation of Technological Watch reports. Therefore, for each of the phases composing what is commonly known as the monitoring cycle, it has been explained in first place what they consist of, what strategies are more adequate as well as how they should be implemented, and finally, if necessary, what tools (from databases to software) are needed or are useful for managing the process and optimize it. Thus, as discussed throughout this document, the application of said methodology will allow organizations or companies to obtain advantageous situations when it comes to innovate, catch opportunities or detect threats, to identify competitors or potential alliances, among others.

The growing interest in quantifying the cultural and creative industries, visualize the economic contribution of activities related to culture demands first of all the construction of internationally comparable analysis frameworks. Currently there are three major bodies which address this issue and whose comparative study is the focus of this article: the UNESCO Framework for Cultural Statistics (FCS-2009), the European Framework for Cultural Statistics (ESSnet-Culture 2012) and the methodological resource of the “Convenio Andrés Bello” group for working with the Satellite Accounts on Culture in Ibero-America (CAB-2015). Cultural sector measurements provide the information necessary for correct planning of cultural policies which in turn leads to sustaining industries and promoting cultural diversity. The text identifies the existing differences in the three models and three levels of analysis, the sectors, the cultural activities and the criteria that each one uses in order to determine the distribution of the activities by sector. The end result leaves the impossibility of comparing cultural statistics of countries that implement different frameworks.

The business environment context points at the necessity of new forms of management for the sustainable competitiveness of organizations through time. Coopetition is characterized as an alternative in the interaction of different actors, which compete and cooperate simultaneously, in the pursuit of common goals. This dual relation, within a gain-increasing perspective, converts competitors into partners and fosters competitiveness, especially that of organizations within a specific sector. The field of competitive intelligence has, in its turn, assisted organizations, individually, in the systematization of information valuable to decision-making processes, which benefits competitiveness. It follows that it is possible to combine coopetition and competitive intelligence in a systematized process of sectorial intelligence for coopetitive relations. The general aim of this study is, therefore, to put forth a model of sectorial coopetitive intelligence. The methodological outlining of the study is characterized as a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative methods), of an applied nature, of exploratory and descriptive aims. The Coordination of the Strategic Roadmapping Project for the Future of Paraná's Industry is the selected object of investigation. Protocols have been designed to collect primary and secondary data. In the collection of the primary ata, online questionary were sent to the sectors selected for examination. A total of 149 answers to the online questionary were obtained, and interviews were performed with all embers of the technical team of the Coordination, in a total of five interviewees. After the collection, all the data were tabulated, analyzed and validated by means of focal groups with the same five members of the Coordination technical team, and interviews were performed with a representative of each of the four sectors selected, in a total of nine participants in the validation. The results allowed the systematization of a sectorial coopetitive intelligence model called ICoops. This model is characterized by five stages, namely, planning, collection, nalysis, project development, dissemination and evaluation. Each stage is detailed in inputs, activities and outputs. The results suggest that sectorial coopetition is motivated mainly by knowledge sharing, technological development, investment in R&D, innovation, chain integration and resource complementation. The importance of a neutral institution has been recognized as a facilitator and incentive to the approximation of organizations. Among the main difficulties are the financing of the projects, the adhesion of new members, the lack of tools for the analysis of information and the dissemination of the actions.
