Based on trial interchanges, this paper develops three algorithms for the solution of the placement problem of logic modules in a circuit. A significant decrease in the computation time of such placement algorithms can be achieved by restricting the trial interchanges to only a subset of all the modules in a circuit. The three algorithms are simulated on a DEC 1090 system in Pascal and the performance of these algorithms in terms of total wirelength and computation time is compared with the results obtained by Steinberg, for the 34-module backboard wiring problem. Performance analysis of the first two algorithms reveals that algorithms based on pairwise trial interchanges (2 interchanges) achieve a desired placement faster than the algorithms based on trial N interchanges. The first two algorithms do not perform better than Steinberg's algorithm1, whereas the third algorithm based on trial pairwise interchange among unconnected pairs of modules (UPM) and connected pairs of modules (CPM) performs better than Steinberg's algorithm, both in terms of total wirelength (TWL) and computation time.

Half sandwich complexes of the type [CpM(CO)(n)X] {X=Cl, Br, I; If, M=Fe, Ru; n=2 and if M=Mo; n=3} and [CpNiPPh3X] {X=Cl, Br, I} have been synthesized and their second order molecular nonlinearity (beta) measured at 1064 nm in CHCl3 by the hyper-Rayleigh scattering technique. Iron complexes consistently display larger beta values than ruthenium complexes while nickel complexes have marginally larger beta values than iron complexes. In the presence of an acceptor ligand such as CO or PPh3, the role of the halogen atom is that of a pi donor. The better overlap of Cl orbitals with Fe and Ni metal centres make Cl a better pi donor than Br or I in the respective complexes. Consequently, M-pi interaction is stronger in Fe/Ni-Cl complexes. The value of beta decreases as one goes down the halogen group. For the complexes of 4d metal ions where the metal-ligand distance is larger, the influence of pi orbital overlap appears to be less important, resulting in moderate changes in beta as a function of halogen substitution. When augmented with the longest common prefix (LCP) array and some other structures, the suffix array can solve many string processing problems in optimal time and space. A compressed representation of the LCP array is also one of the main building blocks in many compressed suffix tree proposals. In this paper, we describe a new compressed LCP representation: the sampled LCP array. We show that when used with a compressed suffix array (CSA), the sampled LCP array often offers better time/space trade-offs than the existing alternatives. We also show how to construct the compressed representations of the LCP array directly from a CSA

Measurements of impurity diffusion of 86Rb, 90Sr, 133Ba, and 137Cs in single crystal Bi were carried out. Diffusion samples were prepared from single crystal Bi by ion implantation. About 1012-1013 ions were implanted, resulting in surface activities approx =104 cpm. After implantation, specimens were annealed for specified times at 220-265 deg C, and tracer penetration profiles were determined by an electrolytic method. A typical penetration profile for 137Cs in Bi showed a linear relationship for log C vs x in with Fick's law for volume diffusion. Laws of grain boundary diffusion were not obeyed and the order of magnitude of the penetration distances was much less than on a grain boundary mechanism. Results were interpreted in terms of a modified Fischer analysis using a kinetic trapping term. Effective half lengths for trapping at a twin boundary were determined for each impurity.

Spontaneous halide ejection from a three-coordinate Lewis acid has been shown to offer a remarkable new route to cationic metal complexes featuring a linear, multiply bonded boron-donor Ligand. The exploitation of electron-rich [CpM(PR3)(2)] fragments within boryl systems of the type LnMB(hal)NR2 leads to the spontaneous formation in polar solvents of chemically robust borylene complexes, [LnM(BNR2)](+), with exceptionally low electrophilicity and short M-B bonds. This is reflected by M-B distances (ca. 1.80 angstrom for FeB systems) which are more akin to alkyl-/aryl-substituted borylene complexes and, perhaps most strikingly, by the very low exothermicity associated with the binding of pyridine to the two-coordinate boron center (Delta H = -7.4 kcal mol(-1), cf. -40.7 kcal mol(-1) for BCl3). Despite the strong pi electron release from the metal fragment implied by this suppressed reactivity and by such short M-B bonds, the barrier to rotation about the Fe=B bond in the unsymmetrical variant [CpFe(dmpe)(BN{C6H4OMe-4}Me)](+) is found to be very small (ca. 2.9 kcal mol(-1)). This apparent contradiction is rationalized by the orthogonal orientations of the HOMO and HOMO-2 orbitals of the [CpML2](+) fragment, which mean that the M-B pi interaction does not fall to zero even in the highest energy conformation.

Cp*_2Sc-H reacts with H_2 and CO at -78°C to yield Cp*_2ScOCH_3. A stepwise reduction of CO to an alkoxide is observed when CO reacts with Cp*_2ScC_6H_4CH_3-p to give the η^2-acyl Cp*_2Sc(CO)C_6H_4CH_3-p, which then reacts with H_2 to produce Cp*_2ScOCH_2C_6H_4CH_3-p. Cp*_2ScCH_3 and Cp*_2ScH(THF) react with CO to give unchar- uncharacterizable products. Cp*_2ScH and Cp*_2ScCH_3 react with Cp_2MCO (M = Mo, W) to give scandoxycarbenes, Cp_2M=C(CH_3)OScCp*_2, while a wide variety of Cp*_2ScX (X = H, CH_3, N(CH_3)_2, CH_2CH_2C_6H_5) reacts with CpM(CO)_2 (M = Co, Rh) to yield similar carbene complexes. An x-ray crystal structure determination of Cp(CO)Co=C(CH_3)- OScCp*_2 revealed a µ^2: η^1, η^1 carbonyl interaction between the Co-CO and Sc.

CO_2 inserts cleanly into Sc-phenyl bonds at -78°C to produce a carboxylate complex, Cp*_2Sc(O_2C)C_6H_4CH_3-p. The structure of this compound was determined by x-ray crystallographic techniques.

Excess C_2H_2 reacts with Cp*_2ScR (R = H, alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, alkynyl, amide) at temperatures below -78°C to form the alkynyl species Cp*_2Sc-C≡C-H, which then reacts with the remaining acetylene to form polyacetylene. Cp*_2Sc-C≡C-H further reacts to yield Cp*_2sc-C≡C-ScCp*_2. This unusual C_2 bridged dimer was characterized by x-ray crystallography.

Attempts were made to model the C-N bond breaking step of hydrodenitrogenation by synthesizing Cp*_2TaH(η^2-H_2C=N(C_6H_4X)) and studying its rearrangement to Cp*_2Ta(=N(C_6H_4X))(CH_3). The 1,2 addition/elimination reactions of Cp*_2Ta(η^2- H_2C=N(CH_3)H and Cp*_2Ta(=X)H (X=O, S, NH, N(C_6H_5)) were investigated. Cp*_2Ta(=NH)H was found to react with D_2 to give Cp*_2Ta(=ND)H, implying a nonsymmetric amide-dihydride intermediate for the addition/elimination process. Cp*_2Ta(=S)H and H_2O equilibrate with Cp*_2Ta(=O)H and H_2S, which allowed determination of the difference in bond strengths for Ta=O and Ta=S. Ta=O was found to be approximately 41 kcals/mole stronger than Ta=S.

O gerenciamento do tempo nos projetos de construção civil usualmente utiliza algoritmos determinísticos para o cálculo dos prazos de finalização e algoritmos PERT para avaliação da probabilidade de o mesmo terminar até uma determinada data. Os resultados calculados pelos algoritmos tradicionais possuem defasagens nos prazos se comparados aos encontrados na realidade o que vem fazendo com que a simulação venha se tornando uma ferramenta cada vez mais utilizada no gerenciamento de projetos. O objetivo da dissertação é estudar o problema dos prazos de finalização dos projetos desenvolvendo novas técnicas de cálculo que reflitam melhor os prazos encontrados na vida real. A partir disso é criada uma ferramenta prática de gerenciamento do tempo de atividades de projetos de construção enxuta baseada em planilha eletrônica onde serão utilizadas técnicas de simulação a eventos discretos, com base em distribuições de probabilidade como, por exemplo, a distribuição beta.

Engineering changes (ECs) are essential in complex product development, and their management is a crucial discipline for engineering industries. Numerous methods have been developed to support EC management (ECM), of which the change prediction method (CPM) is one of the most established. This article contributes a requirements-based benchmarking approach to assess and improve existing methods. The CPM is selected to be improved. First, based on a comprehensive literature survey and insights from industrial case studies, a set of 25 requirements for change management methods are developed. Second, these requirements are used as benchmarking criteria to assess the CPM in comparison to seven other promising methods. Third, the best-in-class solutions for each requirement are investigated to draw improvement suggestions for the CPM. Dew is an important water source for desert organisms in semiarid and arid regions. Both field and laboratory experiments were conducted to investigate the possible roles of dew in growth of biomass and photosynthetic activity within cyanobacterial crust. The cyanobacteria, Microcoleus vaginatus Gom. and Scytonema javanicum (Kutz.) Born et Flah., were begun with stock cultures and sequential mass cultivations, and then the field experiment was performed by inoculating the inocula onto shifting sand for forming cyanobacterial crust during late summer and autumn of 2007 in Hopq Desert, northwest China. Measurements of dew amount and Chlorophyll a content were carried out in order to evaluate the changes in crust biomass following dew. Also, we determined the activity of photosystem II(PSII) within the crust in the laboratory by simulating the desiccation/rehydration process due to dew. Results showed that the average daily dew amount as measured by the cloth-plate method (CPM) was 0.154 mm during fifty-three days and that the crust biomass fluctuated from initial inoculation of 4.3 mu g Chlorophyll a cm(-2) sand to 5.8-7.3 mu g Chlorophyll a cm(-2) crust when dew acted as the sole water source, and reached a peak value of approximately 8.2 mu g Chlorophyll a cm(-2) crust owing to rainfalls. It indicated that there was a highly significant correlation between dew amounts and crust moistures (r = 0.897 or r = 0.882, all P < 0.0001), but not a significant correlation between dew and the biomass (r = 0.246 or r = 0.257, all P > 0.05), and thus concluded that dew might only play a relatively limited role in regulating the crust biomass. Correspondingly, we found that rains significantly facilitated biomass increase of the cyanobacterial crust. Results from the simulative experiment upon rehydration showed that approximately 80% of PSII activity could be achieved within about 50 min after rehydration in the dark and at 5 degrees C, and only about 20% of the activity was light-temperature dependent. This might mean that dew was crucial for cyanobacterial crust to rapidly activate photosynthetic activity during desiccation and rehydration despite low temperatures and weak light before dawn. It also showed in this study that the cyanobacterial crusts could receive and retain more dew than sand, which depended on microclimatic characteristics and soil properties of the crusts. It may be necessary for us to fully understanding the influence of dew on regulating the growth and activity of cyanobacterial crust, and to soundly evaluate the crust's potential application in fighting desertification because of the available water due to dew. A kind of hydrogenated diphasic, silicon films has been prepared by a new regime of plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) in the region adjacent to the phase transition from amorphous to crystalline state. The photoelectronic and microstructural properties of the films have been investigated by the constant photocurrent method (CPM), Raman scattering and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Our experimental results and corresponding analyses showed that the diphasic films, incorporated with a subtle boron compensation, could gain both the fine photosensitivity and high stability, provided the crystalline fraction (f) was controlled in the range of 0 < f < 0.3. When compared with the conventional hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H), the diphasic films are more ordered and robust in the microstructure, and have a less clustered phase in the Si-H bond configurations. 提出了一种基于模型融合的CMM实施过程建模方法.该方法使用软件过程工程元模型SPEM建立CMM过程模型CPM和企业过程模型EPM,通过融合CPM和EPM来获得CMM实施过程模型C IPM.文中利用带标记的有向图描述过程模型,给出了模型融合方法,并进行了一致性证明.最后通过一个过程模型融合原型工具和实例说明了方法的应用情况.

Hydrogenated silicon films with diphasic structure have been prepared by using a new regime of plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) in the region adjacent to the phase transition from amorphous to crystal. line state. The photoelectronic and microstructural properties of the films have been characterized by the constant photocurrent method (CPM), Raman scattering and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). In comparison with typical hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H), these diphasic films with a crystalline fraction less than 0.3 show a similar optical absorption coefficient, lower deep-defect densities and higher stability upon light soaking. By using the diphasic nc-Si/a-Si films a p-i-n junction solar cell has been prepared With an initial efficiency of 8.51 % and a stabilized efficiency of 8.02 % on an area of 0.126 cm(2) (AM1.5, 100 mW/cm(2)).

HIRFL-CSR(童话垂离子冷却储存环)是国家重点实验室之一。CSR控制系统是保证CSR正常运行的重要环节。作为这样一个大型的控制系统,是由多个子系统分别组成的。在CSR新的控制方案中,我们允许用户通过访问网页来控制设备和获知设备的当前运行情况。本文主要描述了三个子系统中设备控制的实现和设备监控程序的实现,分别采用了COM组件技术和Win32应用程序。本文首先介绍了Windows编程,win32应用程序,开发COM组件工具ATL,和COM组件的基本概念。随后详细介绍了在实现设备控制和设备监控程序中所应用的各种技术,包括:多线程的实现、川州访问远立湍数据库、串日通信的实现,对硬件板卡的访问。其次,还介绍了各个子系统控制软件的结构和总体设计,包括了被控设务的COM组件的设计,监控程序的设计和功能实现方案。主要以电子冷却控制系统为例,详细介绍了分别用于控制常压端和高压端设备的COM组件功能实现和常压端监控程序、高压端监控程序功能的实现。整个论文的工作完成了CSR控制系统中子系统的CPM组件和设备监控程序的软件编制,调试。为以后开发和实现控制系统的COM组件和设备监控程序提供了一个原型。

CpCr(NO)(CO)_2与Fe(C_5H_4S)_2S反应,形成氧化-还原产物CpCr(NO)(SC_5H_4)_2Fe(1)。双杂核二茂铁化合物CpM(NO)(EC_5H_4)_2Fe[M=Mo,E=S(2a),Se(2b);M=W,E=S(4a),Se(4b)]、CpMo(NO)(SC_5H_4)_2Fe(3)、Cp_2Mo(SeC_5H_4)_2Fe(6)和Cp_2W(SC_5H_4)_2Fe(7)可通过Fe(C_5H_4ELi)_2·2THF(E=S,Se)与CpM(NO)I_2(M=Mo,W)、[CpMo(NO)I_2]_2或Cp_2MCl_2(M=Mo,W)反应制得。三核杂原子二茂铁化合物[CpCr(NO)_2]_2(EC_5H_4)_2Fe[E=S(8a),Se(8b)],由Fe(C_5H_4ELi)_2·2THF(E=S,Se)与二倍摩尔量的CpCr(NO)_2I反应制备。通过AgBF_4氧化2a得到二茂铁离子型化合物[CpMo(NO)(SC_5H_4)_2Fe]~+BF_4~-(5)。采用元素分析、红外光谱、~1H和~(13)C NMR谱以及EI-MS表征了所合成的新型化合物。

The reactions of half-sandwich diselenolate Mo and W complexes (CpM)-M-#(NO)(SePh)(2) (M = Mo; Cp-# = Cp' (1a), MeCp (1b); M = W; Cp-# = Cp' (1c)) with (Norb)Mo(CO)(4), Ni(COD)(2) and Fe(CO)(5) have been investigated. Treatment of (1a), (1b) and (1c) with (Norb)Mo(CO)(4) in PhMe gave the bimetallic complexes: Cp'Mo(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)Mo(CO)(4) (2a), MeCpMo(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)Mo(CO)(4) (2b) and Cp'W(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)Mo(CO)(4) (2c) in moderate yields. Irradiation of (1a) and (1c) in the presence of Fe(CO)(5) gave heterobimetallic complexes Cp'Mo(CO)(mu -SePh)(2)Fe(CO)(3) (3a) and Cp'W(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)Fe(CO)(3) (3c). Ni(COD)(2) reacts with two equivalents of (1a), (1b) and (1c) to give [Cp'Mo(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)](2)Ni (4a), [MeCpMo(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)](2)Ni (4b) and [Cp'W(NO)(mu -SePh)(2)](2)Ni (4c) in good yields. The new heterobimetallic complexes were characterized by i.r., H-1-n.m.r., C-13-n.m.r. and EI-MS spectroscopy.
