Treason and trial : consuetudines and law in the romances of Chrétien de Troyes and the lais of Marie de France

Treason, in the romances of Chrdtien de Troyes and the lais of Marie de France, is explored more often as afin' amor problem than as a legal issue with its concomitant sociopolitical ramifications. It is precisely the historical function of literature within the ambit of court culture that appears to have shaped the legal context of the poems of Chrdtien de Troyes and the lais of Marie de France. Counterpoising the literary treatment of treason in Le Chevalier au Lion and Lanval with actions and definitions of treachery by contemporary, twelfth-century chronicle and customary law sources reveals that the conceptualized, fictional world of Chrdtien's Yvain closely reflects the workings of the Capetian society Chretien experienced. Marie's Lanval reflects as well the historical impressions of the Angevin court with which she had familiarity, a court whose concept of treason leaned more toward the maiestas concept found in Roman jurisprudence tradition.

Privatizaciones en Europa y la privatización de Petróleos Mexicanos: el caso de la petroquímica

El artículo está dividido en cuatro partes. En la primera, se hace una reflexión general sobre los procesos de privatización en el mundo, con énfasis particular en la experiencia europea y la industria de la energía deteniéndose en el caso británico y sus resultados concretos. En la segunda, se valoran los procesos de privatización en México, analizando el resultado de la privatización bancaria, discutiendo cuál es el resultado global de las privatizaciones mexicanas. En la tercera parte se hace un análisis sobre la reorganización llevada a cabo desde 1992 en Petróleos Mexicanos, con un enfoque crítico, donde se destaca la importancia mundial de esta empresa y su impacto social y económico en México. En la cuarta parte, se analiza el caso específico de la privatización de Pemex- Petroquímica, describiendo el frustrado proceso de privatización, discutiendo los argumentos del gobierno y de los opositores al proceso. En el fondo el autor plantea que pese a que Pemex no es ineficiente en el extremo que le acusan los interesados en su privatización total, sí tiene influencias políticas que impiden el uso de criterios estrictamente empresariales, que limitan su óptima operación. Así mismo destaca que la eficiencia global de Pemex oculta los pobres resultados de algunas de sus empresas, por lo cual desmitifica la idea de que la privatización de esta empresa, si existieran las características y el Estado de Derecho que garantizan la vigilancia social sobre los procesos de privatización, contribuiría a mejorar sus resultados. La pregunta que subyace en este trabajo y que se busca responder es: ¿Puede una empresa pública operar sin presiones externas con estrictos criterios de eficiencia?

La poesía de improvisación. Romances, coplas y juegos infantiles de la tradición oral andaluza

Trato de demostrar cómo toda la poesía de tradición oral en la provincia de Málaga - esto valdría también para el resto de Andalucía- en un principio surgió de manera improvisada en distintas situaciones: Fiestas, celebraciones, bailes, reuniones de jóvenes, matanzas, recogida de aceitunas o uvas, Navidad, Carnaval, etc. Para ello hago dos recorridos, poniendo ejemplos: Uno, a través de la cronología del ser humano: Nanas, entretenimientos infantiles, juegos infantiles y de juventud, corros o bailes de rueda, etc.; y otro, a través de los ciclos festivos: Navidad, carnaval, matanzas, costumbres y fiestas locales, ferias, etc. Llego a la conclusión de que toda la tradición oral surge, de manera improvisada, mientras cantaba y se mantiene gracias a la repetición de las coplas. Primero debió improvisarla una persona y luego pasó a la tradición, si que se supiese nunca quién fue su autor.

La jerarquía normativa en la interpretación del artículo 133 de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos

La perspectiva constitucional sobre la jerarquía normativa de las fuentes de derecho en el sistema jurídico mexicano, ha suscitado muy interesantes y variadas controversias que han llegado hasta la emisión de criterios, tanto jurisprudenciales como no jurisprudenciales, por la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación. En correspondencia con ello y la necesidad que en la academia existe para aclarar a los estudiantes de derecho, de qué manera puede interpretarse la disposición constitucional que por excelencia refiere dicha temática, se presenta una propuesta de exégesis del Artículo 133 de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, a la luz de una investigación cualitativa sustentada explícitamente en una epistemología orientada a producir conocimiento basada en la coherencia paradigmática de las posturas existentes en el ámbito del principio de supremacía constitucional y la jerarquización normativa y en la inteligencia de que no se pretende establecer reglas fijas e inmutables, sino por el contrario, se trata de una construcción donde las ideas, conjeturas, puntos de vista y reflexiones estén en constante y estrecha relación con el contexto y con los contenidos de la producción teórica sobre el tema.

Programa educativo afecta positivamente el consumo de grasa, frutas, verduras y actividad física en escolares Mexicanos

Introducción: Una dieta inadecuada y la falta de actividad física, son de los factores de riesgo más importantes de mortalidad y carga de enfermedad en México y muchos otros países alrededor del mundo. Objetivo: El propósito de esta investigación fue analizar el efecto de una intervención educativa sobre el consumo de frutas, verduras, grasa y actividad física en escolares de Sonora México. Métodos: Se contó con dos grupos homogéneos de escuelas; 3 con programa de intervención y 3 sin programa de intervención. La intervención consistió de un taller educativo en nutrición y otro en actividad física para escolares y pláticas educativas en nutrición y actividad física para padres de familia. Se aplicaron pre y post-intervención recordatorio de 24-h, cuestionario de actividad física, conocimientos en nutrición y mediciones antropométricas. Resultados: Ciento veintiséis de los 129 escolares que iniciaron la intervención fueron medidos al final de la intervención (97.7%). Después del programa de intervención el consumo de frutas y verduras de los escolares intervenidos fue significativamente mayor (p=0.032) y el consumo de grasa total disminuyó (p=0.02). Los escolares intervenidos aumentaron el número de horas de actividad física y disminuyeron las actividades sedentarias (p=0.04 y p=0.006 respectivamente). Además, mostraron mayor conocimiento en nutrición que los no intervenidos (p=0.05). Conclusión: El programa fue efectivo en mejorar el consumo de frutas, verduras y grasas en la dieta de los escolares, además mostró efecto positivo en la actividad física y los conocimientos en nutrición.
