According to current legislation, is part of the Target of Special Education, students with high abilities/giftedness (HA/G). However, it appears that there are few studies on efficiency and effectiveness of diverse pedagogical practice for students with these characteristics. With increasing globalization, are multiplied opportunities for transnational education programs and educational services, particularly through the Internet, increasing the need for information services and accreditation of institutions and educational programs. This study aims to: a) develop a website containing information on high abilities/giftedness; b) evaluate the design of teachers on applicability of the site; c) analyze the contributions posted on the site. Therefore, it was available to the participants of this research produced site. Consisted on the site, among other information, those relating to HA/G indicators. Was sent a questionnaire via the Internet, with nine closed questions and two open, to 2000 teachers, registered in the database Improvement Course in Educational Practices Inclusive conducted by UNESP, under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Vera Lucia Messias Fialho Capellini. Data were considering frequency responses. For the treatment we used the Google Docs. As result Program Observed how teachers are lacking this subject deserves further Top depth. Concerning the site he was Considered by the participants as a support tool to the teacher, Which helps to identify and recognition of Individuals with HA/G and contributes to information, training and practical pedagogical way. This, is expected to Contribute to the dissemination of this issue in society as well as the Possibility of Minimizing the myths about this population, since such myths exist due to the lack of information

This research has as its main reference, the need to detect the development initiatives by public higher education, concepts, methods and teaching and pedagogical tools and to investigate the ability to transfer knowledge and practices of teaching and learning produced for other levels education. The task of providing appropriate training of teachers of basic education to university education is a vital political and administrative demands for a large country, which needs to adequately educate its people, so he can face in the right conditions, the huge and complex demands of regional and national development. The research presented here, aims to gauge the extent and adequacy of current media and information as tools for teaching and pedagogical transfer the knowledge and practices of teaching and learning as a tool for updating and also for training or non-presence blended Primary School Teacher Education. From the established goals will be carried out research, conceptual and field, to analyze and evaluate some educational practices and resulting forms of communication and also to assess the effects brought about by replacing the linear communication model and the model of unilateral to multilateral communication networks on digital models, and practices of schooling. The results obtained from both theoretical and practical will be on the selection of concepts, content production, methodologies and resources run by different "means" integrated with the cultural, economic and social development, both locally, regionally or nationally. This text presents the research developed with students of the 5th year of elementary school at a public school in the city of Taubaté-SP, involved in solving problems involving the Mental Calculation. The read authors show that the Mental Calculation is relevant for the production of mathematical knowledge as it favors the autonomy of students, making it the most critical. Official documents that guide educational practices, such as the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais also emphasize that working with mental arithmetic should be encouraged as it has the potential to encourage the production of mathematical knowledge by the student. In this research work Completion of course the tasks proposed to students, who constituted the fieldwork to production data, were designed, developed and analyzed in a phenomenological approach. The intention, the research was to understand the perception of students in the face of situations that encourage them to implement appropriate technical and mental calculation procedures. The Environmental Theme in Representations and Practices of Family Health Professionals in the Municipality of Manaus - State of Amazonas/Brazil

There are abundant scientific evidences showing that the increased risk of exposure to diseases is a consequence of anthropogenic environmental changes. In the Family Health Strategy, tasks with a clear environmental focus are prescribed, indicating to the professional teams that they should consider these aspects in their health practices. The objective of this research was to study representations and practices of Family Health Professionals of Manaus - State of Amazonas, Northern Brazil - about environmental issues and their interface with public health. Data were collected by means of participant observation and semi-structured interviews, and the qualitative analysis was carried out through Content Analysis and Methodological Triangulation. The results showed that most professionals do not understand the environment in a systemic way, even though they recognize the great impact that environmental factors have on human health; as interventions, the educational practices follow traditional methodologies and focus on blaming the individual and on the simple transmission of knowledge; the professionals' relationship with the community is limited to personal and/or collective care. It is concluded that in order to the Family Health Strategy to contribute to restructure the system, it is essential to redirect this new health policy model so that it becomes effective as a social and environmental practice.

Educación física y su relación con la salud en la formación integral. Experiencia desde el contexto educativo en Venezuela

[ES] El presente artículo describe la problemática poblacional venezolana en relación con sus patrones de comportamiento (hábitos), que vienen causando un deterioro gradual de la salud. Refiere la reseña histórica de la Educación física partiendo de su incorporación en el currículo educativo, transitando por sus cambios y transformaciones hasta la actualidad. Aborda la educación física en Venezuela en correspondencia con las políticas educativas y de la actividad física para la salud. Presenta los programas que viene direccionando y desarrollando el Estado con la intencionalidad de crear conciencia hacia la importancia de la actividad física para contribuir, con disminución del sedentarismo, uno de los factores causantes de la obesidad a escala pandémica. Resalta las prácticas actuales asociadas con programas educacionales relacionados con la educación física y la salud. Por último describe programas innovadores, implementados en las instituciones educativas y en las comunidades para la adquisición de hábitos y patrones de conducta saludables.

Technical communication in the global context : a heuristic approach to disciplinary identity and pedagogical practices

There is nothing new or original in stating that the global economy directly impacts the profession of technical communicators. The globalization of the workplace requires that technical communicators be prepared to work in increasingly linguistically and culturally diverse contexts. These new exigencies have natural repercussions on the research and educational practices of the field In this work, I draw on rhetoric, linguistics, and literacy theory to explore the definition, role and meaning of the global context for the disciplinary construction of professional and technical communication. By adopting an interdisciplinary and diachronic perspective, I assert that the global context is a heuristic means for sophisticating the disciplinary identity of the field and for reinforcing its place within the humanities. Consequently, I contend that the globalization of the workplace is a kairotic moment for underscoring the rhetorical dimension of professional and technical communication.

Las Políticas TIC en la educación de América Latina : Una oportunidad para saldar deudas pendientes

En los últimos años los esfuerzos de las políticas educativas de los países de América Latina dan cuenta de importantes logros, en particular en lo relativo a la inclusión . Sin embargo, es posible identificar la persistencia de algunas brechas relevantes tales como la desigualdad en el acceso al conocimiento vinculada con los procesos y los resultados académicos obtenidos por los niños, niñas y jóvenes a lo largo de sus trayectorias educativas. Este artículo analiza el potencial y también los desafíos de las políticas de integración TIC para el abordaje de este problema. Lo hace de modo articulado en tanto el aprovechamiento de este potencial supone garantizar un piso de ciertas condiciones mínimas y la construcción de otras posibles y deseables. Entre estas, se focaliza el tema pendiente de la conectividad y la cuestión del cambio en las prácticas educativas.

Las NTIC como herramienta en la enseñanza de la historia : Propuestas para abordar la Edad Media

El presente trabajo pretende reflexionar sobre los desafíos que la sociedad atravesada por las tecnologías le presenta a las prácticas educativas. Para esto nos introduciremos en el contexto uruguayo y en el Plan CEIBAL específicamente, como ejemplo de una política educativa que busca acompasar la educación con la realidad actual.
