This article has as a purpose to make a theoretical reflection on the experience of helplessness in the recent days. It starts from the Freud’s concept of helplessness, and compares it with analyses and reflections from contemporary authors on models of subjectivation which have risen at the present time. In the first experiences of life helplessness comes out as a result of an incompleteness of the organism, its need to perform exchanges with the world, and the extreme dependency on help from others. On the one hand, the contemporary culture highlights the individualism, which indicates good possibilities for granting desires. On the other hand, it makes bonds and relationships ephemeral and fragile. At the absence of a solid, safe and stable continent for affective and emotional experiences a feeling of helplessness appears. It activates primary defense mechanisms, contributing to the intensification of regressive forms of subjectivation and the decline of the symbolic sphere.

The perception of modern society regarding the nature and indigenous peoples came to be shaped in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, with two major events, the invasion of Europeans in America and the scientific revolution. These events symbolize the cultural overlap and European thinking about the rest of the world. The current scenario is industrialism, consumism and cultural standardization driven by Cartesian thought. This work demonstrates, through literature research and data analysis, that this dominant model has caused the crisis of modernity, focusing especially on the environmental crisis that threatens human life. The solutions are present in the modern society the knowledge of indigenous peoples that is inherently ecological and sustainable by tradition. From the union of diverse cultures and knowledge dialog you can find solutions for today's problems and provide a renewal of relationships between modern society, indigenous peoples and nature. The World Conscious Pact presents this proposal which can be increased through public relations strategies in order to reconnect the man-nature bond, generating critical behavior with respect to the current dominant system and motivate society to adopt truly ecological postures. This study aims to discuss the role of the professional of public relations and the marketing tools in organizing events. Taking as parameter the concepts of events, marketing and public relations and highlighting the contributions on strategic planning, the communication process and the relationship with stakeholders as key elements on this management, it is intended to form arguments to demonstrate that the work of a skilled professional is essential for the empowerment of the events not only as a communication tool, but as well as a relationship tool. The methodology utilized is based on literary data and on the exemplification of this process, with the analysis of three mega events. As a result, we leave a reflection about the importance of professionally events management, in addition to excellent communication and expansion of economic resources, since it defends the idea that management needs to generate lasting relationships across all the stakeholders' chain

The effect in the gingival tissue of four distinctive types of relationships between the major conector and the gingival margin was investigated in eight subjects in association with the experimental gingivitis model. The subjects wore appliances constructed in acrylic resin (retained by means of embrasure hooks) throughout the day an night, except during meals. After the appliances had been placed, the subjects were abstained from any oral hygiene for twenty-one days. Records of the Plaque Index, Gingival Index and probing deplh were taken at baseline and at each week. Data showed that there was a small increase in the Plaque Index and Gingival Index for the four areas and that the degree of inflammation of the covered areas was higher in the area without relief

Opiniões e atitudes dos médicos frente às ações promocionais da indústria farmacêutica

The pharmaceutical industry invests heavily in promoting their products, and studies suggest that these actions influence doctor’s prescribing. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the opinions and attitudes of doctors when facing promotional activities of the laboratories. To this end, questionnaires were sent to doctors in Araraquara (SP) containing statements on the subject. Data analysis included study of the association by the chi-square. The results indicated that physicians relate to the propagandists (98%) by considering them useful (55%), but not as a main source update (86%). For 62% of them their prescriptions are not influenced by such relationships, while 24% disagree that doctors in general are influenced as well as new graduates (37%). The majority also disagrees that are influenced by amenities (86%) or free samples (70%) but only 38% believe their colleagues are not influenced by the samples. As for the ethics of these receipts, 57% considered to be appropriate when benefit patients, but only 32% while for personal use. The results show that doctors are vulnerable to the influences of marketing. Therefore, mechanisms and interventions are needed for prescribing drugs solely by criteria of effectiveness, safety, convenience and accessibility to the patient.

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investigação sobre práticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

Potencialidades e dificuldades interpessoais de universitários: estudo de caracterização

The interpersonal development can stimulate quality social relationship and promote people´s health. Interpersonal relationships are demanded by the university context, which requires the students to develop and to express socially skillful behaviors. However, diffi culties in interpersonal relationship in the university are common. Characterization studies can help the identifi cation of diffi culties and behavioral potentialities of students and promote effi cient trainings with college students This research aimed to: a) describe the prevalence of reports of university students who sought for psychological help, as the behavior called social skills, (b) identify the partners (family, boyfriend (a), friends, colleagues, teachers) with whom such responses are issued, (c) describe consequences reported by students that occur in the interaction with such parties. Data were obtained from semi structured interviews and IHS-Del Prette instrument. The interviews data were categorized by the analysis content and IHS-Del Prette data were computed according to concerning instructions. The outcomes describe potentialities and diffi culties that the students presented in relation to the social skills according to different aspects: university, work, love relationship, friends and family. The behaviors reported with higher frequency are related to speaking in public, talking to the partner about the relationship, speaking with friends and family members and fl irt. It was also observed that in all the categories the behaviors had as consequence more punishing than reinforcing events. The outcomes obtained of IHS-Del Prette found out that 50% of the sample showed [ok] poor social skills repertoire demanding training.

Aponta aspectos relacionados às estratégias utilizadas pelos sites para atrair pessoas. O design das páginas principais e anúncios são fonte de rico material de análise, reforçando mensagens atrativas que podem contribuir para o sucesso destes sites junto à sua clientela.

Relacionamento e coordenação da cadeia produtiva da mandioca no Noroeste do Paraná

The production of starch and cassava starch (Manihot esculenta) if has shown to an important business for the region the northwest of the Paraná, generating income and job for a significant agricultural producers. The production of the region is processed for industries at private capital and cooperatives of producers. The study involving agricultural producers and one of the most important cooperatives of the region (C-Vale) objectified to evaluate the relationships between cooperative and producers, and the mechanisms of coordination of the productive chain. The results had disclosed that the relationships are not harmonious, generating opportunism situations, high costs of transaction and diffidence in the operations between producers and cooperative. Also if it perceived a difficulty of coordination of the productive chain, due to lack of integration between the partners, what it affects the competitiveness and the efficiency of the sector.

Análise comparativa de redes interfirmas de instituições de ensino superior

Organizations have been facing several challenges to survive in a world in constant transformation. In light of that, new management models need to be incorporated to the organizational dynamics in order to achieve competitive advantages. The inter-firm networks establish a particular form means of cooperation as a fundamental element, as there can be ties of diverse nature to justify the relationships. These are interorganizations or inter-firms, formed by people who maintain the relationships to improve the overall performance of the network and of the participants. Thus, the Education Institutions, considered as organizations, which have the objective to disseminate knowledge and form professionals who contribute to the growth of a nation, also make use of this type of arrangement. Considering the raised questions, this article aims to demonstrate the applicability of a business network mapping technique at Higher Education Institutions. It also presents the possibility to perform the comparative analysis of the intensity of the relationship observed in a private and in a public institution, in the State of São Paulo. By applying the comparative analysis, this study also presents the relationship among the people involved at strategic and tactical levels of each institution, taking into account each one s peculiarities.
