将边坡稳定分析中的二维Spencer法拓展到了三维。该方法对所有条块满足力的平衡以及整体力矩平衡,克服了其他方法中只适用对称问题的缺点,不需已知滑动方向,还可根据滑面的几何特征,进一步得到各条块局部的稳定性系数及其潜在的滑动方向。此外,给出了该方法的实现步骤,其算法的收敛性也较好。最后以不对称问题为算例,并与其他文献中的结果进行比较,验证了该方法的可行性和有效性。

在分析地震对尾矿坝造成破坏特点的基础上,介绍了尾矿坝地震稳定性分析方法。以龙都尾矿库细粒尾矿堆积坝为例,分析了在当地发生七级地震情况下,尾矿坝在不同状态下的结果,为矿山进行尾矿库的安全管理提供了科学依据。

The dynamic behaviour for nanoscale electrostatic actuators is studied. A two Parameter mass-spring model is shown to exhibit a bifurcation from the case excluding an equilibrium point to the case including two equilibrium points as the geometrical dimensions of the device are altered. Stability analysis shows that one is a stable Hopf bifurcation point and the other is an unstable saddle point. In addition, we plot the diagram phases, which have periodic orbits around the Hopf point and a homoclinic orbit passing though the unstable saddle point.

The coupling mechanism of Rayleigh effect and Marangoni effect in a liquid-porous system is investigated using a linear stability analysis. The eigenvalue problem is solved by means of a Chebyshev tau method. Results indicate that there are three coupling modes between the Rayleigh effect and the Marangoni effect for different depth ratios. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Linear stability analysis was performed to study the mechanism of transition of thermocapillary convection in liquid bridges with liquid volume ratios ranging from 0.4 to 1.2, aspect ratio of 0.75 and Prandtl number of 100. 2-D governing equations were solved to obtain the steady axi-symmetric basic flow and temperature distributions. 3-D perturbation equations were discretized at the collocation grid points using the Chebyshev-collocation method. Eigenvalues and eigenfunctions were obtained by using the Q-R. method. The predicted critical Marangoni numbers and critical frequencies were compared with data from space experiments. The disturbance of the temperature distribution on the free surface causes the onset of oscillatory convection. It is shown that the origin of instability is related to the hydrothermal origin for convections in large-Prandtl-number liquid bridges. (C) 2007 COSPAR. Published by Elsevier Ltd. Based on the principle given in nonlinear diffusion-reaction dynamics, a new dynamic model for dislocation patterning is proposed by introducing a relaxation time to the relation between dislocation density and dislocation flux. The so-called chemical potential like quantities, which appear in the model can be derived from variation principle for free energy functional of dislocated media, where the free energy density function is expressed in terms of not only the dislocation density itself but also their spatial gradients. The Linear stability analysis on the governing equations of a simple dislocation density shows that there exists an intrinsic wave number leading to bifurcation of space structure of dislocation density. At the same time, the numerical results also demonstrate the coexistence and transition between different dislocation patterns.

研究了超音速钝锥绕流的稳定性和转捩点预报的数值计算方法,首先采用Euler方程求解钝锥绕流基本流场,用所得到的物面压力分布作为粘性边界层的外缘压力分布,给出了基本流场的初值;然后应用反迭代法与边界层渐近匹配的方法求解了钝锥边界层的稳定性方程,得到了钝锥边界层转捩数据,该方法可提高计算精度,节约计算时间。

为解决网络延时对网络化控制系统性能的影响,从控制的角度提出基于系统模型的补偿器设计方案以解决网络延时问题.通过对广义预测控制算法GPC状态空间形式的推导,设计具有多步预测功能的网络控制器,实现前向通道的延时补偿;构造具有延时补偿功能的状态观测器以补偿反馈通道延时.分析了使用上述延时补偿策略所构成的闭环网络控制系统的稳定性.通过对不同网络延时补偿的仿真实验,证实了该补偿算法能有效改善控制系统性能并保持系统的稳定.

采用ANSYS有限元分析软件对永乐大钟及其悬挂支撑系统建立了有限元模型,进行了撞钟过程有限元瞬态分析及动力强度校核。通过有限元计算,获得了大钟各局部考察对象及整体的应力、位移分布情况和各部分的动力响应和对强度的影响,为合理撞钟和加固提供了科学依据与技术指导。

The Rayleigh-Marangoni-Benard convective instability (R-M-B instability) in the two-layer systems such as Silicone oil (10cSt)/Fluorinert (FC70) and Silicone oil (2cSt)/water liquids are studied. Both linear instability analysis and nonlinear instability analysis (2D numerical simulation) were performed to study the influence of thermocapillary force on the convective instability of the two-layer system. The results show the strong effects of thermocapillary force at the interface on the time-dependent oscillations at the onset of instability convection. The secondary instability phenomenon found in the real two-layer system of Silicone oil over water could explain the difference in the comparison of the Degen's experimental observation with the previous linear stability analysis results of Renardy et al.

A large diameter cylinder inserted in soils is a new type of engineering structures used in offshore and port engineering. The mechanism of its bearing capacity and the analysis of its stability are important to its design and applications. In this paper, the finite element method is used to analyze the reacting forces of the soft soil foundation on the structure under the wave action. A simplified method is proposed, based on the plastic limit method, for the safety and stability analysis. Our analysis shows that the assumptions made in this paper and the mechanism used are reasonable, and the results obtained are appropriate. The calculation method is very efficient and can be used to evaluate main parameters of the structure in its preliminary designs.

The microgravity research, as a branch of the advanced sciences and a spe- cialized field of high technology, has been made in China since the late 1980's. The research group investigating microgravity fluid physics consisted of our col- leagues and the authors in the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and we pay special attention to the floating zone convection as our first research priority. Now, the research group has expanded and is a part of the National Microgravity Laboratory of the CAS, and the research fields have been extended to include more subjects related to microgravity science. Howev- er, the floating zone convection is still an important topic that greatly holds our research interests.
