As the ludic taking the second place at school environment, on account of logical and rational activities and the excessive charge of a professional achievement of children by society and, also, the own family, the school doesn't become a pleasant ambient of frequenting. This study wants to understand, in a better way, the utilization of ludic activities as a pedagogic support into the learning and the development of the cognitive, emotional and creative potentiality of children in different education system (public and private) of Ibitinga-SP. It also investigates the docent attitude and practice during the ludic activities and its repercussion in the students' performances when introduced. The bibliographic researches present that the utilization of games, as a pedagogic resource, contributes to the learning process and to the human development of the students from the first cycle of the Elementary School. The School has to rescue the desire of learning, which is playing, the most natural way. The research's target audience are teachers from the Ciclo I of the elementary school and the focus is the utilization of the ludic into the different areas of teaching, considering the context that the schools are embedded. The reality observation, which enables a straight contact with the researcher and the study object, helped out with the issue comprehension. It was possible to identify that the utilization of ludic activities as a pedagogic strategy does not happen just because of knowledge absent, but also because of the submission to many goals imposed by the education system and/or by the didactic materials used, which don't have any worry to valorize the period of develop that the students are living, filtering out some characteristics from the phase that contributed to the learning. The evolution of techniques and materials applied to adhesive ceramic restorations resulted in the intensification of its use, proving to be an excellent method of aesthetic restoration. Some important features of this technique are its conservative preparation, which avoids an excessive loss of tooth structure and its high aesthetic value provided by the ceramic even when utilized under different color of dental substrates. The aim of this paper was to report a clinical case with full crowns, porcelain veneers and non-prep veneers, enhancing peculiarities related to the material used, tooth preparation techniques, cementing, indications and contraindications.

In many oral rehabilitation professionals seeking venture renew people smile. However, these procedures have functional implications and aesthetic criteria which must be satisfied so that the final result is predictable. The restoration of relations intermaxillary, phonetics, masticatory function, esthetics and patient comfort are the goals to be achieved. An effective way to achieve these goals when immediate reconstruction with permanent dentures is not possible, make use of a type of partial denture called overlay. Bruxism is a manifestation of biopsychological imbalance that affects the stomatognathic system, characterized by clenching and / or attrition of teeth together so centric or eccentric, can be manifestation of nocturnal or diurnal. Its effects can manifest themselves in different parts of the stomatognathic system, varying the severity of the damage as the resistance of the structures affected, the time of existence, its regularity and the general state of the wearer. The description of the steps followed in solving this case, in which the patient edentulous mandibular arch while the maxillary arch showed absence of teeth 16 and 26 and, except for the teeth 17 and 27, all other teeth showed wear very sharp in the sense denoting incisal cervical, severe impairment of the vertical dimension, the quality of masticatory function and a marked impairment phonetic, this case report aims to guide the beginning of a rehabilitation, as well as the transitional phase of treatment for recovery of functional and aesthetic relationships intermaxillary .

Stress relates to the broad and generalized body's responses to various environmental, physical and social situations. It is the force that drives the emotions and motives (desires), but is also the cause of the wear and tear of human existence. This study aims to investigate the stressors in administrative technical servers Univ. Estadual Paulista - UNESP, Bauru, as well as on companies providing service within the perimeter of the campus. Was used as a methodology, literature and field research, a questionnaire was applied in order to reach those goals. The profiles of employees who participated in the survey were: both sexes, adults, young people with different educational levels, varying levels of marital and socioeconomic status. The main stressors mentioned by the employees were: workload, dissatisfaction in the workplace, pressure boss or colleagues, as they bring consequences, fatigue or drowsiness, affecting the work environment and mostly family. Physical symptoms of stress are fatigue, difficulty relaxing and headache, and backache. And the psychological symptoms are verbalized concern, agitation, aggression, dissatisfaction, and forgetfulness and feeling of lack of time. It was concluded that these factors negatively affect the quality of life in the work of these employees, interfering with your work, family and socio-emotional life.

The lack of motivation and the excessive quantity of subject memorization are some of the main causes for the disinterest of students when learning chemistry. To change this scene, it's necessary that the teachers reinvent themselves and innovate during their classes, making use of alternative methodologies for the chemistry teaching process. The objectives of this work are to evaluate, from a constructive methodology approach, the characteristics, possibilities and limitations of some techniques and methods of teaching. This analysis allowed to present the results in the form of a table summarizing these characteristics and can be useful for teachers to choose the right strategy to be used

Hyperadrenocorticism is a relatively common endocrinopathy in dogs, which is associated to an excessive production or administration of cortisol. The most affected breeds are Poodles, Teckels, Boxers, Boston Terriers and Beagles. The clinical signs most commonly observed are polyuria, polydipsia, polyfagia, panting, distended abdomen, endocrine alopecia, muscular weakness and lethargy. Laboratorial abnormalities include stress leukogram, increase in alkaline phosphatase and alanine aminotransferase activities, hypercholesterolemia, lipemia, hyperglycemia and hyposthenuria. The preferred essay to evaluate adrenal gland function is the low-dose dexamethasone suppression test, whereas the most used treatments include mitotane and trilostane. The objective of this paper is to review hyperadrenocorticism in dogs, because this disease is relatively common in small animal clinics and has many long-term complications.

A contracepção cirúrgica é utilizada no controle populacional, por impedir definitivamente a reprodução e ser mais econômica em relação à eutanásia. As complicações ocorrem pela intervenção cirúrgica ou por efeitos sistêmicos da privação do estrógeno. Objetivou-se monitorar o período pós-operatório de cadelas e gatas castradas em projeto de extensão universitária, com o intuito de avaliar os benefícios e a incidência de efeitos adversos. Foram questionados por telefone os proprietários de 178 fêmeas castradas (135 caninas e 43 felinas), entre um e dois anos após a cirurgia. As questões envolviam o estado atual do animal, possível mortalidade, neste caso a causa da morte e quanto tempo após a cirurgia ocorreu, se ocorreram alterações físicas como ganho de peso, incontinência urinária e dermatite peri-vulvar e alterações comportamentais positivas, como docilidade e diminuição do comportamento de perambulação, ou negativas, como apatia, agressividade e agitação excessiva. Das 135 cadelas castradas, 12 (8,89%) apresentaram óbito, apenas um relacionado à cirurgia, 87 (64,44%) apresentaram ganho de peso após a cirurgia, uma (0,74%) apresentou incontinência urinária e quatro (2,96%) dermatite peri-vulvar. Alterações de comportamento positivas foram relatadas em 38 (28,15%) cadelas e negativas em seis (4,44%). Das 43 gatas castradas, seis (13,95%) apresentaram óbito, nenhum relacionado à cirurgia, 25 (58,14%) apresentaram ganho de peso, uma (2,32%) incontinência urinária e duas (4,65%) dermatite peri-vulvar . Alterações de comportamento positivas ocorreram em 20 fêmeas (46,51%) e alterações negativas em nenhuma fêmea (0%). Pode-se concluir que a contracepção cirúrgica apresenta boa relação custo-benefício no que diz respeito a alterações pós-operatórias de longo prazo.
