This paper seeks to explore some key elements that are relevant to improve overall productivity including, particularly, the small agricultural enterprises in the so-called "region of Araraquara". Location and infrastructure, among other factors, are of paramount importance; however I endeavor to highlight those, which I consider are the most significant and refer to aspects of cognitive and immaterial labor in the sense that its products are intangible, such as knowledge, communication, interaction, focusing on institutional collaborative activities and productive resistance.

Hipersensibilidade dentinária cervical: em busca de um tratamento eficaz

The knowledge of the etiology of any disease or condition is paramount to a safe and effective treatment. This literature review aims to show some options to treat dentine hypersensitivity (HSDC). The loss of cervical enamel and cementum exposure of tubules leads to a painful condition and patient discomfort, called HSDC. This loss of tooth structure occurs due to formation of cervical lesions in cases of gingival recession, abrasion, erosion, or abfraction by the association of two or more factors. Some treatments are not effective, but there are effective therapies, such as: application of ferric oxalate, potassium oxalate, potassium nitrate, fluoride varnish, solutions of calcium phosphate, adhesives and Bonding procedures. Therefore, the identification and removal of etiological factors is essential to successful treatment of HSDC normally associated to tubules obliterate and consequent reduction of fluid motion within the dentin.

Immunohistochemical evaluation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in splenic hemangiomas and hemangiosarcomas in dogs

Formation of new blood vessels is paramount for tumour growth and metastatic dissemination and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is one of the key regulators of this process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of VEGF in 23 splenic hemangiosarcomas and 7 splenic hemangiomas in dogs. Blood tests performed previous to splenectomy were analysed for correlation with tumour VEGF expression. Results showed significantly higher VEGF expression in hemangiosarcomas than hemangiomas and lower hematocrit values and red cell count in dogs affected with malignant neoplasia (P < 0.05). These findings suggest the presence of high VEGF levels may be related to the malignant vascular proliferation seen in hemangiosarcomas.

Since a new project of the National Education Plan for the next decade, is currently under discussion in Congress, believe to be of paramount importance to examine which goals that have been achieved, which were partially achieved and what have not yet been achieved, always aiming to better development of professional education in Brazil, we consider mode of teaching still undervalued in the context of public education policies in Brazil.

The study of variability becomes increasingly important nowadays . Studying the behavior of rainfall before external events is of paramount importance. The region of Vale do Paraíba , it is important to study variability , since the region is influenced by the ocean and constant cold fronts that end causing precipitation during most months of the year . This study aims to analyze the variability in rain UGRHI - 2 by analyzing the interference of ENSO events / Southern Oscillation and the Convergence Zone South Atlantic (SACZ) in the amount and distribution of rainfall. The UGRHI helped were created for distribution and control of water in the state of São Paulo , divided watersheds were avoided so that problems such as poor distribution and water shortages in some areas of the state . To study variability , various software , including Excel , Variowin and R statistical package , the subroutine Climatol were used , with the goal of developing isolines showing the spatial distribution of rainfall anomalies in the years studied also the anomaly index was studied rain (IAC) , noting more effectively the years of positive and negative anomaly , with the purpose of studying the temporal variability of rainfall in the study area.

The sports activities occupy a growing space in people's lives, especially children and youth. Taking into consideration that this practice is of paramount importance, especially in childhood, where the acquired habits influence in adulthood, this work aims to investigate the role of physical education classes in adherence of children to the practice of some activity sports. These are a dynamic process, and to realize it is necessary planning, making the practice is a pleasurable activity. Thus, an important point to note is the motivation, which depends on extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Another factor that may interfere in the sporting practices is the influence of parents on children. In this context, the contact sports can be used to gain the approval of parents and not for self-gratification, this being a way to get closer to distant parents. A point worth mentioning is the physical education, as this introduces and integrates the child's body / movement culture. Often child's first contact with the sport happens at school, leading us to the assumption that the physical education teachers at the school are responsible for the athletic student motivation, and we emphasize that the school motivational factors are very dependent on students' aspirations for that a particular motivational element can take effect. The technical and / or professional outside of school physical education also influence the child, as these can provide pleasure for the sport, being a connoisseur of motivational strategies. An important motivational aspect is friendship, as children use sports activities to make new friends and find your friends. Análise diferencial da potência máxima gerada por um sistema solar fotovoltaico

The Earth receives annually 1,5.1018 kWh of solar energy, which corresponds to 1000 times the world energy consumption in this period. This fact comes out that, besides being responsible for the maintenance of life on Earth, the solar radiation is in an inexhaustible energy source, with an enormous potential for use by systems capture and conversion into another form of energy. In many applications of low power systems that convert light directly into electricity, called photovoltaic advantageously replace other means of production processes, where its distribution is very significant. The determination of the power generated by such a system is of paramount importance for the design energy of its implementation and evaluation of the system itself. This study aims to determine a relationship between the maximum power generated by solar photovoltaic and characteristic parameters of the generator. This relationship allows to evaluate the performance of such a system. For simulations of the developed equations were used 3 photovoltaic modules with an output of 100 Wp each, and data collection was performed during one year by enrolling in addition to meteorological data, solar irradiance incident on the modules.
