Objective: to evaluate the standardization of vaccination rooms in the Municipality of Marlia, State of So Paulo, Brazil. Methods: descriptive and exploratory study, realized in 2008-2009; the instrument used was the Supervision in Vaccination Rooms, of the Ministry of Health; variables analyzed were general aspects of the vaccination room, technical procedures, cold chain, information system, post-vaccination adverse events, special immunobiologicals, epidemiological surveillance and health education; the score achieved classifies the room (90.0-100.0% = ideal; 76.0-89.0% = good; 50.0-75.0% = fair; <50.0% = insufficient); overall index for each point was calculated as the average score of all rooms. Results: technical procedures, information system, post-vaccination adverse events and special immunobiologicals were scored as ideal; cold chain, epidemiological surveillance and health education were scored as good; and to general aspects of the vaccination room, the evaluation was fair. Conclusion: general index for vaccination rooms in the municipality was considered ideal.

O estudo analisa os objetivos e as justificativas de quatro secretarias de educao para investir em sistemas prprios de avaliao em larga escala em vez de utilizar as avaliaes nacionais j disponveis, em especial a Prova Brasil, como instrumento precpuo de sua poltica educacional. O foco recai sobre avaliaes externas que lanam mo dos mesmos modelos adotados pelas avaliaes nacionais com contornos e desenhos distintos impressos s diferentes redes de ensino investigadas, conforme o tipo de organizao e poltica. Destacam-se as demandas que se impem a essas avaliaes, notadamente naquilo que podem conter de subsdio pedaggico voltado diretamente ao trabalho escolar.

Introduo: A leishmaniose visceral (LV) um importante problema de sade pblica no Brasil, com cerca 3000 mil casos notificados anualmente. Nos ltimos anos, a LV tem ampliado sua distribuio em vrios estados do pas, associada principalmente aos processos socioambientais, antrpicos e migratrios. A LV causada pela infeco com Leishmania infantum chagasi, transmitida, principalmente, por Lutzomyia longipalpis (Diptera: Psychodidae). Este flebotomneo apresenta ampla distribuio nas Amricas, todavia, evidncias sugerem que se constitui em um complexo de espcies crpticas. A dinmica de transmisso da LV modulada por fatores ecolgicos locais que influenciam a interao entre populaes do patgeno, do vetor e dos hospedeiros vertebrados. Portanto, o estudo das variveis associadas a esta interao pode contribuir para elucidar aspectos dos elos epidemiolgicos e contribuir para a tomada de decises em sade pblica. Objetivo: Avaliar parmetros relacionados capacidade vetorial da populao de Lu. longipalpis presente em rea urbana do municpio de Panorama, estado de So Paulo. Mtodos: Foram realizadas capturas mensais durante 48 meses para avaliar a distribuio espao-temporal de Lu. longipalpis e investigar a circulao de Le. i. chagasi. Tambm foram realizados os seguintes experimentos com o vetor: captura-marcao-soltura-recaptura para estimar a sobrevida da populao e a durao do seu ciclo gonotrfico, a atratividade dos hospedeiros mais frequentes em reas urbanas, a proporo de repasto em co, infeco experimental e competncia vetorial. Resultados: Observou-se que no municpio de Panorama, Lu. longipalpis apresentou as frequncias mais elevadas na estao chuvosa (entre outubro e maro), maior densidade em reas com presena de vegetao e criao de animais domsticos, locais aonde tambm foi demonstrada a circulao natural de espcimes de Lu. longipalpis infectados com Le. i. chagasi. Alm disto, foi corroborado que a populao de Lu. longipalpis apresentou hbito hematofgico ecltico, altas taxas de sobrevivncia e que foi competente para transmitir o agente da LV. Nos experimentos de laboratrio foi evidenciada a heterogeneidade na infeco de fmeas de Lu. longipalpis desafiadas a se alimentarem em ces comprovadamente infectados por L. i. chagasi e o rpido desenvolvimento do parasita neste vetor natural. Concluses. As observaes do presente estudo corroboram a capacidade vetora de Lu. longipalpis para transmitir a Le. i. chagasi e ressaltam a importncia da espcie na transmisso do agente etiolgico da LV. Aes de manejo ambiental, educao e promoo sade so recomendadas s autoridades municipais para diminuir o risco potencial de infeco na populao humana e canina, considerando-se o elevado potencial vetor de Lu. longipalpis e a presena de condies que favorecem a interao dos componentes da trade epidemiolgica da LV.

In this study, we present a political evaluation of how SENAC/RN perceives PRONATEC, emphasizing all ideological principles, aims and theories that this institution reproduces and reinforces while playing this professional qualification program. We intended to reveal ideological aspects that inspire SENACs perception of PRONATEC, pointing the actual interests hidden by those aspects. Our starting question is: What ideologies, objectives and theories that are explicitly or implicitly reinforced by Senac in implementing PRONATEC? In the research, we consider the hypothesis that transferring the responsibility about PRONATEC from public to private institutions is something that impoverishes the professional formation process, once the program ends up subordinated to private institutions ideological, political and economic interests. The methodological approach chosen was the single case study. As data source, we used broad literature survey, official files of PRONATEC and SENAC, official information about the program and personal interviews. At the end of the research, we present elements that show some flexibility on PRONATEC due to SENACs interests, offering a superficial professional formation, commonly dissociated from a propaedeutic education, focusing on the need of adaptation e consensus of works around a society project. In this regard, despite PRONATEC is payed by public resources, its been used by SENAC as a fortifier of this institution on professional education market, in an hegemonic and neoliberal construction of a model of society.

O tema desta dissertao a Avaliao Institucional da Educao Bsica. Para tal, faz-se a anlise do processo de avaliação, com nfase no instrumento utilizado pelas Escolas Adventistas de nvel bsico do estado de So Paulo, considerando que a educao adventista se tornou uma parte consistente dentro da estrutura da Igreja Adventista do Stimo Dia. Procurou-se, neste trabalho, como objetivo geral, compreender como se configura a prtica da avaliao institucional das escolas da Rede Adventista de Educao. O mtodo da investigao incluiu anlise bibliogrfica dos principais tericos da rea de polticas pblicas e do sistema privado bem como da avaliao institucional, seguido de exame documental do instrumento utilizado no processo de avaliao institucional. O estudo resgata a contextualizao histrica do desenvolvimento da escola privada, destacando aspectos relevantes de sua relao com o Estado. Tambm apresenta brevemente a histria da Igreja Adventista do Stimo Dia (IASD) nos Estados Unidos (EUA) e no Brasil, de modo a situar o surgimento do sistema educacional adventista, bem como a sua filosofia de ensino, buscando conhecer as origens desse grupo religioso que h mais de um sculo atua no cenrio educacional brasileiro. Em seguida, aborda aspectos da Avaliao Institucional. Finalmente, apresenta-se uma sntese do processo e uma descrio analtica do instrumento de avaliao institucional das escolas de nvel bsico da Educao Adventista. Na concluso do trabalho, no se encontraram indcios de que o conceito adventista de avaliao educacional seja diferente do das abordagens tradicionais. Entretanto, na concepo adventista de avaliação, existe mais fortemente a preocupao de se manter um processo de avaliao contnuo e sistemtico.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have an extremely important social role, they are responsible for the place where they work and to form citizens who contribute to a fair and cooperative society. Universities can engage with sustainable development in planning, management, education, research, operations, community services, procurement of materials, transportation and infrastructure; this research seeks to analyze the sustainability practices in service operations in the Higher Education Institutions of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education in Brazil through the development and application of a model called the Sustainability Assessment for Higher Technological Education (SAHTE). To achieve the proposed goal, a systematic survey of the scientific literature on sustainability assessment models in higher education institutions was conducted, making it possible to identify the characteristics and features of existing models. The model was applied through multiple case studies. The proposal compares the sustainability performance of service operations among individual institutions using a common methodology. It presents five areas to be evaluated in the HEI: Governance and Policies, People, Food, Water and Energy, and Waste and Environment, with a total of 134 questions. The need for greater support from the senior management of institutions to formulate and implement policies on sustainable development was identified when the lack of policies on sustainability in service operations was found; initiatives tend to be isolated. The participation of students and teachers in studies on the daily operations of the campus can be expanded and more widespread. The model seeks to evaluate sustainable practices in the service operations of the Brazilian Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education; studies related to the evaluation of teaching sustainability are absent and the applicability of the model in private institutions and other countries is needed. The results obtained with the application of the SAHTE model are useful for the preparation and development of policies on sustainable development, especially in the service operations of the surveyed HEI. The results can sensitize staff and students, who can reflect on their roles in the HEI, as well as the community and suppliers.

Apresenta e discute a situao e as aes de monitoramento e de avaliao em servios de sade, especialmente focadas na ateno domiciliar tendo como referncias as exigncias, as possibilidades e as dificuldades a partir de experincias propostas e desenvolvidas sob a orientao e demandas do Ministrio da Sade tendo como exemplo de anlise a experincia de gesto de SAD municipal da Rede de Ateno Sade do SUS.

This text offers some contributions to the debate on the changes proposed to the National Curricular Directives to reform secondary education in Brazil. In the first part, the political and economic scene is evaluated as the context which generated the last stage of reforms in the educational field in the 90s. It questions the option for a model of structural reform (in the Brazilian case more restricted to the Program for Reform of Professional Education - PROEP) and of the curriculum, whose themes find their justification in the contemporary economic, social cultural and political context. It discusses the use of a model that bases itself on experiences developed in other countries and takes the international orientation of the multilateral organizations as its theoretical methodological reference, leaving out the peculiarities and injunctions of the Brazilian political administrative system. Such a policy measure can increase the tension and distance normally existing between government programs and the possibility of their real implementation in the school network. In the second part, it discusses the Resolution of the National Education Council, the Congress on Basic Education, no.3, of 16.698 that instituted the National Curricular Directives for secondary education, as well as the Legal Bases - Part I - of the National Curricular Parameters for secondary education. The analysis of official discourse takes Bardin's (1977, p. 209) proposals as its methodological reference for the models of structural analysis, seeking to make the implicit values and the connotations of the legal texts explicit
