O presente trabalho apresenta um modelo de mudança organizacional para melhorar o processo empresarial de compra de uma construtora, proveniente do sistema de comunicação entre o escritório central e suas obras, a fim de identificar as oportunidades e deficiências existentes no sistema, seja de ordem tecnológica e/ou gerencial. O mapeamento das informações permite detectar os percursos desnecessários que impossibilitam o sistema de comunicação funcionar de forma ágil e otimizada, bem como perceber as oportunidades de melhorias contínuas ao processo. O método de pesquisa se baseou no aperfeiçoamento de processos empresariais, que consiste na modelagem do processo citado, por meio da coleta de dados, análise de documentos, desenho de fluxos de informações existentes no modelo e discussão dos resultados. Para validação da aplicação do método, fez-se o estudo de caso único em uma construtora do subsetor edificações, o qual gerou fluxogramas do processo de compras atual e proposto como modelo de mudança organizacional.

This work is a study on the Technical Service Library and Documentation Prof. Carlos Alberto de Buarque Borges , on the Faculdade de Engenharia de Guaratinguetá , regarding to the service user , aiming to detect and analyze the current problems and suggesting improvements that could result in optimization of care and increased quality of services. For this, was chosen the methodology of Business Processes Modeling, which enabled the detailing of the processes implemented in the library and the identification the critical points , as low investment and short number of employees, which made possible suggest ways to improve the quality of service to users, as awareness campaigns and the implementation of an system to input the literature needed for each course

This paper proposes a model of educative content structuring for interactive digital television programs. Its intent was to provide references for collaborative production processes and content organization in learning networks associated with university and educative television broadcasting services. The model defines terms, actors, events, environments, as well as content categories, classes and attributes, indicating criteria for their synchronic or asynchronic association in a dynamic television schedule. The model is presented in both descriptive and visual formats, with the use of conceptual maps. The results indicate that interactive use of digital television in education requires systematic content models covering communitarian participation in both media production and distribution processes, in order to enhance learning instruments beyond vertical, hierarchical and centralized communication sustained by traditional broadcast channels.

The local productive arrangements (LPA) are organizational mechanisms that enable the continuous performance of small businesses in production processes and business management models. To promote continuous improvement is essential that companies make decisions based on data that reflects business’ performance (performance measurement) and promote the cluster performance. This way, the aim of this article is to describe the performance measurement process that will support the corporate management of Micro and Small enterprises (SME) of a Local Productive Arrangement in Maringá, State of Paraná, Brazil. To develop this paper, the bibliographic search and action research methods were used. The field research was developed from the cooperation project (PROJVEST) conducted at the LPA, which goal is to deploy improvement actions in project’s participating companies. Metrics and performance indicators constructed from the diagnosis in the areas of Production, Quality and Ergonomics in companies will be presented. Among the main results, can be pointed out that the performance management of LPA is promoting the introduction of corporate management practices in SMEs, stimulating business cooperation, the continuous innovation in manufacturing processes and product quality and business processes.

With the focus on quality of services, this work uses a methodology based on questionnaires for evaluating companies and consumers, with the objective of studying the dimensions of quality within the segment of Brazilian e-commerce. The research conducted a study to identify the situation of companies regarding the dimensions of quality and, among costumers, a survey was done to determine their requirements with regard to these dimensions and to identify those dimensions considered as winning factors when making the orders. The results demonstrate that customers consider reliability to be the most important order winner, followed by safety and communications. The study of these enterprises demonstrates that their quality of service is good, however there is a need for improvements in the business processes related to the dimensions of service quality.

[ES] El objetivo de este Trabajo es el de parametrizar, implementar las estructuras de datos y programar las aplicaciones necesarias que posibilitan el intercambio de información entre dos entornos software, SAP R/3 y Knapp, líderes en sus campos de actuación. El resultado de aplicar tales cambios permitirá a la organización no sólo centralizar la información en el ERP, sino que mejorará sus procesos de negocio y agilizará la toma de decisiones por parte de los responsables. Se realiza un estudio de la situación actual y, tras un análisis detallado, se propone una solución que permita alcanzar los objetivos propuestos. Una vez diseñada, presentada y aprobada la propuesta, se procede a la parametrización de SAP R/3, a la definición de los segmentos y tipos de IDOC y a la codificación de funciones y programas que permitan tratar la información enviada por Knapp. Finalizadas estas tareas, se elaboran juegos de datos de los procesos comerciales y se ejecutan en un entorno de test, en colaboración con los usuarios claves, para comprobar la bondad de la solución implementada. Se analizan los resultados y se corrigen posibles deficiencias. Finalmente se transporta al sistema productivo todos los cambios realizados y se verifica la correcta ejecución de los procesos de negocio de la organización.

[ES] Las necesidades básicas de las empresas suelen ser las mismas, ya sea una empresa grande que pequeña, la infraestructura sobre la que montan sus procesos de negocio y las aplicaciones para gestionarlos suelen ser casi iguales. Si dividimos la infraestructura TIC de una empresa en hardware, sistema y aplicaciones, podemos ver que en la mayoría de ellas el sistema es casi idéntico. Además, gracias a la virtualización, que ha entrado de manera arrolladora en el mundo de la informática, podemos independizar totalmente el software del hardware, de forma que obtenemos una flexibilidad enorme a la hora de planificar despliegues de infraestructura. Sobre estas dos ideas, uniformidad de sistema e independencia de hardware, son sobre las que se va a desarrollar el siguiente TFG. Para el desarrollo de la primera de ellas se realizará el estudio de la infraestructura básica ( sistema) que cualquier empresa suele tener. Se intentará dar una solución que sea válida para una gran cantidad de empresas de nuestro entorno y se realizará el diseño del mismo. Con la segunda idea desarrollaremos un sistema basado en servicios, que sea lo suficientemente completa para poder dar respuesta a las necesidades vistas pero, a su vez, suficientemente flexible para que el crecimiento en capacidades o servicios se pueda realizar de forma sencilla sin que la estructura del sistema, o sus módulos deban modificarse para realizarlos. Por tanto, vamos a realizar un diseño integral y completa, de forma que será tanto de hardware como de software, haciendo énfasis en la integración de los sistemas y la interrelación entre los distintos elementos de ellos. Se dará, a su vez, la valoración económica del mismo. Por último, y como ejemplo de la flexibilidad del diseño elegido veremos dos modificaciones sobre el diseño original. El primero de ellos será una ampliación para dar mayor seguridad en cuanto a redundancia de almacenamiento y, ya en un paso definitivo, montar un CPD remoto. El segundo de ellos será un diseño de bajo coste, en el que, mantenimiento los mismos servicios, bajaremos el coste del diseño con productos con algo menos de prestaciones, pero manteniendo la solución en conjunto unos altos niveles de calidad y servicio.

Electronic business surely represents the new development perspective for world-wide trade. Together with the idea of ebusiness, and the exigency to exchange business messages between trading partners, the concept of business-to-business (B2B) integration arouse. B2B integration is becoming necessary to allow partners to communicate and exchange business documents, like catalogues, purchase orders, reports and invoices, overcoming architectural, applicative, and semantic differences, according to the business processes implemented by each enterprise. Business relationships can be very heterogeneous, and consequently there are variousways to integrate enterprises with each other. Moreover nowadays not only large enterprises, but also the small- and medium- enterprises are moving towards ebusiness: more than two-thirds of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) use the Internet as a business tool. One of the business areas which is actively facing the interoperability problem is that related with the supply chain management. In order to really allow the SMEs to improve their business and to fully exploit ICT technologies in their business transactions, there are three main players that must be considered and joined: the new emerging ICT technologies, the scenario and the requirements of the enterprises and the world of standards and standardisation bodies. This thesis presents the definition and the development of an interoperability framework (and the bounded standardisation intiatives) to provide the Textile/Clothing sectorwith a shared set of business documents and protocols for electronic transactions. Considering also some limitations, the thesis proposes a ontology-based approach to improve the functionalities of the developed framework and, exploiting the technologies of the semantic web, to improve the standardisation life-cycle, intended as the development, dissemination and adoption of B2B protocols for specific business domain. The use of ontologies allows the semantic modellisation of knowledge domains, upon which it is possible to develop a set of components for a better management of B2B protocols, and to ease their comprehension and adoption for the target users.

The advent of distributed and heterogeneous systems has laid the foundation for the birth of new architectural paradigms, in which many separated and autonomous entities collaborate and interact to the aim of achieving complex strategic goals, impossible to be accomplished on their own. A non exhaustive list of systems targeted by such paradigms includes Business Process Management, Clinical Guidelines and Careflow Protocols, Service-Oriented and Multi-Agent Systems. It is largely recognized that engineering these systems requires novel modeling techniques. In particular, many authors are claiming that an open, declarative perspective is needed to complement the closed, procedural nature of the state of the art specification languages. For example, the ConDec language has been recently proposed to target the declarative and open specification of Business Processes, overcoming the over-specification and over-constraining issues of classical procedural approaches. On the one hand, the success of such novel modeling languages strongly depends on their usability by non-IT savvy: they must provide an appealing, intuitive graphical front-end. On the other hand, they must be prone to verification, in order to guarantee the trustworthiness and reliability of the developed model, as well as to ensure that the actual executions of the system effectively comply with it. In this dissertation, we claim that Computational Logic is a suitable framework for dealing with the specification, verification, execution, monitoring and analysis of these systems. We propose to adopt an extended version of the ConDec language for specifying interaction models with a declarative, open flavor. We show how all the (extended) ConDec constructs can be automatically translated to the CLIMB Computational Logic-based language, and illustrate how its corresponding reasoning techniques can be successfully exploited to provide support and verification capabilities along the whole life cycle of the targeted systems.

Mit zunehmender Komplexität und Vielfalt der Logistikprozesse steigt der Stellenwert der eingesetzten Informationstechnologien. Die den Warenfluss begleitenden bzw. vorhereilenden Informationen sind erforderlich, um Waren identifizieren und Unternehmensressourcen optimal einsetzen zu können. Als Beispiel ist der klassische Wareneingang zu nennen. Durch die Avisierung von Menge und Art eingehender Waren können der Einsatz des Personals zur Entladung und Vereinnahmung sowie die erforderlichen Ressourcen (Ladehilfsmittel, Flurförderzeuge, usw.) im Vorfeld geplant und bereitgestellt werden. Der Informationsfluss ist demnach als Qualitätsmerkmal und als Wirtschaftlichkeitsfaktor zu verstehen. Die Schnittstelle zwischen dem physischen Warenfluss und dem Informationsfluss auf EDV-Basis bildet die Identifikationstechnologien. In der Industrie verbreitete Identifikationstechnologien bestehen in der Regel aus einem Datenträger und einem Erfassungsgerät. Der Datenträger ist am physischen Objekt fixiert. Das Erfassungsgerät liest die auf dem Datenträger befindlichen Objektinformationen und wandelt sie in einen Binär-Code um, der durch nachgelagerte EDV weiterverarbeitet wird. Die momentan in der Industrie und im Handel am häufigsten verwendete Identifikationstechnologie ist der Barcode. In den letzten Jahren tritt die RFID-Technologie in den Fokus der Industrie und des Handels im Bereich Materialfluss und Logistik. Unter „Radio Frequency IDentification“ wird die Kommunikation per Funkwellen zwischen Datenträger (Transponder) und Lesegerät verstanden. Mittels der RFID-Technologie ist der Anwender, im Gegensatz zum Barcode, in der Lage, Informationen auf dem Transponder ohne Sichtkontakt zu erfassen. Eine Ausrichtung der einzelnen Artikel ist nicht erforderlich. Zudem können auf bestimmten Transpondertypen weitaus größere Datenmengen als auf einem Barcode hinterlegt werden. Transponder mit hoher Speicherkapazität eignen sich in der Regel, um die auf ihnen hinterlegten Daten bei Bedarf aktualisieren zu k��nnen. Eine dezentrale Datenorganisation ist realisierbar. Ein weiterer Vorteil der RFID-Technologie ist die Möglichkeit, mehrere Datenträger im Bruchteil einer Sekunde zu erfassen. In diesem Fall spricht man von einer Pulkerfassung. Diese Eigenschaft ist besonders im Bereich Warenein- und -ausgang von Interesse. Durch RFID ist es möglich, Ladeeinheiten, z. B. Paletten mit Waren, durch einen Antennenbereich zu fördern, und die mit Transpondern versehenen Artikel zu identifizieren und in die EDV zu übertragen. Neben der Funktionalität einer solchen Technologie steht in der Industrie vor allem die Wirtschaftlichkeit im Vordergrund. Transponder sind heute teuerer als Barcodes. Zudem müssen Investitionen in die für den Betrieb von RFID erforderliche Hard- und Software einkalkuliert werden. Daher muss der Einsatz der RFID-Technologie Einsparungen durch die Reorganisation der Unternehmensprozesse nach sich ziehen. Ein Schwachpunkt der RFID-Technologie ist momentan je nach Anwendung die mangelnde Zuverlässigkeit und Wiederholgenauigkeit bei Pulklesungen. Die Industrie und der Handel brauchen Identifikationstechnologien, deren Erfassungsrate im Bereich nahe 100 % liegt. Die Gefahr besteht darin, dass durch ein unzuverlässiges RFID-System unvollständige bzw. fehlerhafte Datensätze erzeugt werden können. Die Korrektur der Daten kann teurer sein als die durch die Reorganisation der Prozesse mittels RFID erzielten Einsparungen. Die Erfassungsrate der Transponder bei Pulkerfassungen wird durch mehrere Faktoren beeinflusst, die im Folgenden detailliert dargestellt werden. Das Institut für Fördertechnik und Logistik (IFT) in Stuttgart untersucht m��gliche Einflussgrößen auf die Erkennungsraten bei Pulkerfassungen. Mit den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen sollen mögliche Schwachstellen bei der Erkennung mehrerer Transponder im Vorfeld einer Implementierung in die Logistikprozesse eines Unternehmens eliminiert werden. With increasing complexity and variety of the logistics processes the significance of the used information technologies increases. The information accompanying the material flow is necessary in order to be able to identify goods and to be able to use corporate resources optimally. The classical goods entrance is to be mentioned as an example. The notification of amount and kind of incoming goods can be used for previously planning and providing of the personnel and necessary resources. The flow of information is to be understood accordingly as a high-quality feature and as an economic efficiency factor. With increasing complexity and variety of the logistics processes the significance of the used information technologies increases. The information accompanying the material flow is necessary in order to be able to identify goods and to be able to use corporate resources optimally. Linking the physical world to the Internet, also known as the Internet of Things, has increased available information and services in everyday life and in the Enterprise world. In Enterprise IT an increasing number of communication is done between IT backend systems and small IoT devices, for example sensor networks or RFID readers. This introduces some challenges in terms of complexity and integration. We are working on the integration of IoT devices into Enterprise IT by leveraging SOA techniques and Semantic Web technologies. We present a SOA based integration platform for connecting WSNs and large enterprise business processes. For ensuring interoperability our platform is based on Linked Services. These are thoroughly described, machine-readable, machine-reasonable service descriptions.
