Formação continuada: dialogando com os professores que atuam no ensino infantil e fundamental (Ciclo I) da rede municipal de Bauru/SP

Currently, we can observe a significant increase in the disappointment of the world population about education, which raised doubts about the current school system and resulted in a forced increase of interest in an education reconstruction. The investigation process of this research based itself in the qualitative exploratory approach, since it allows the interpretation of the reality of the investigated environment, and it is concern about the process and not the quantification of data. Five professionals who work for the prefecture in the city of Bauru participated in this study and they graduated in the third module of the continuing education of the department of physical education from UNESP/Bauru, which occur in the second semester of 2010. The purpose of the present study was to identify the reasons why teachers who work for the prefecture in the city of Bauru look for the continuing education in physical education and explore their expectations and perception about the course. Considering the analysis presented in this study, we can observe that the search for continuing education based itself in issues such as: the confusion that exists between theory and practice, where the teachers exemplifies that, after their initial education, theory was not consistent with the real needs of their pedagogical practice; the entry of students younger and younger in the infant and fundamental education; the search for contents that answer the needs of psychomotor development of children between 2 and 5 years old and, at the same time, contents for the inclusion of children with special needs; as well as political pedagogical issues. O papel do professor de educação física na gestão democrática

This study aims to conduct a survey on the concepts that the teacher of physical education has on their role in areas of activity in the democratic management of public and private schools. They are job-specific goals: to raise theoretically as it is currently the training of physical education teacher to work in the administrative and participatory management in schools, pointing out possible instances of action of the physical education teacher in meeting the democratic management of official documents (NCP and RCN) and propose inserts that will guarantee their professional practice responsible, ethical and participatory; and check what is the concept that the physical education teacher has on their role in school activities beyond the classroom. For both methodologically this is configured as a qualitative research, in the form of literature review and field research. 30 Teachers participated in the survey, these being of public and private schools. For data collection a questionnaire was designed open dealing on the profile of teachers and their perceptions of their performance in school. The results show that in the case of conceptions that physical education teachers have about their role in the democratic management of the results lead us to infer that they all feel if done professionally, both in public schools as those of individuals, despite the difficulties encountered in their day to day

The central focus of this paper is to establish that the Brazilian Education Programa to prepare professionals in Technical-Agricultural Schools is suffering a kind of marginalization which comes from two distinct perspectives: the intention to prepare professionals (being a branch of Technical Education) and the relationship to the countryside (a community space historically seen as peripheral in its relation to urban culture). The paper discusses – from a historical and sociological point of view and using Oral History as methodological approach – the experiences of Math’s teachers in their daily struggles against some conceptions of other teachers (mainly those of technical areas) and against all the “regular” schooling system.

Entre o sistema e o mundo da vida: possibilidades de ação comunicativa na trajetória formativa de professores de Ciências

This study aimed at both identifying possibilities of communicative action that occur in the formative trajectory of Science teachers, and therefore collaborate in the discussion on the rationality approach that supports teacher education. Therefore, we hope to contribute for the construction of a formative model that encourages human emancipation. For this purpose, we draw concepts from Communicative Action Theory proposed by Jürgen Habermas. Data were obtained by half-structuralized interviews. Although strategic actions predominate among those used by teachers during their education period, we observed some tension focus could be identified, better recognized and built up in order to enlarge possibilities of increasing communicative actions in teacher education. We identified political and epistemological factors as obstacles for these possibilities to materialize.

A escola, os professores e a inovação educacional

The purpose of this essay is to reflect on the quality of the school and psychosocial aspects involved in the assimilation of educational innovations by teachers in their teaching practices.Innovations cause resistance which endanger the goals of improving education outcomes. This makes the possibilities of basic schooling fail, preventing contribute to the transformation of living conditions of the working classes.

The chemistry is a science little adored by students, because it is a modeling science. The study in chemistry needs a little of abstraction to be able to view something that can not being viewed, that is why chemistry uses many models and tools. The periodic table is a tool useful, but complicated to be understood, where many students end up just decorating for a test, and losing interest in class. The use of ludic games is a way to facilitate the teaching-learning process, because a game has rules to be followed, so the student will get involved to the content to be studied in addition to having to respect rules. Therefore, it is needed that teachers make their lectures more attractive for their students. This work has analyzed an alternative method for teaching the periodic table using basic computer resources, in order to propose a ludic game to a different class, seeking to get the students attention in order to facilitate the understanding of the content
