Information Science has for its object of study the general properties of information and analysis of their construction, communication and use processes. Organic information, one of the information types, is the one recorded in the archives, which can be split into two distinct groups based on users: current and permanent, used by administrators, historians/citizens, respectively. After defining the information behavior of each group, the articles directs the discussion to the mediation of information in the permanent archives. The interaction between user and information professionals through references services aiming the user needs is presented. In addition, the standards of archival description and the research instruments as tools to reference service are discussed. Moreover, it argues the importance of information technologies and the new possibilities for the promotion of organic information in permanent archives, especially concerning the information architecture of websites and the conversion of the DTD standards of archival descriptions.

The research presents as its central theme the study of the bibliographic record conversion process. The object of study is framed by an understanding of analogic bibliographic record conversion to the Bibliograhpic MARC21 format, based on a syntactic and semantic analysis of records described according to descriptive metadata structure standards and content standards. The objective of this research the objective is to develop a theoretical-conceptual model of syntactic and semantic of bibliographic records, from Linguistic studies of Saussure and Hjelmslev of manifestations of human language, which subsidizes the development of a computacional interpreter, focused to the conversion of bibliographic records to MARC21 Bibliographic Format, which can be confirmed both the semantic value of the informational resource represented as the reliability of the representation. Given the aforementioned objectives, the methodological trajectory of the research is based on the qualitative approach, of an exploratory, descriptive and experimental nature, and with recourse to the literature. Contributions on the theoretical plane can be envisaged regarding the development of questions inherent to the syntactic and semantic aspects of bibliographic records, and by involving, at the same time, interdisciplinarity between Information Science, Computer Science and Linguistics. Contributions to the practical field are identified by the fact the study covers the development of the Scan for MARC, a computational interpreter that can be adopted by any institution that wishes to use the conversion procedure for bibliographic record databases to the MARC21 Bibliographic Format from description and visualization schemes of bibliographic records (AACR2r and ISBD), an aspect of the research which is considered innovative.

In Brazil, the interest on the applicability of assistive technology resources in the school environment has grown for children with cerebral palsy, according to the evidences on the diffi culties in their process of scholarization. The objective of the project was the construction of a data base about the resources of high assistive technology in the national market, indicated for the use in the classroom environment for children with cerebral palsy, with the purpose to systemize information, to assist in the selection, prescription and implementation of this type of resource. From a search in the literature available in existing national sites, a computerized archive on the availability of these resources was constructed, having as parameters the applied methodology already used in previous study. Therefore, information on adapted resources had been systemized, constituting an accessible source of data to all the interested parties, aiming to contribute for a effective implementation of these resources in the promotion of the scholarization of children with cerebral palsy in the country.

PURPOSE: The development and application of collective pedagogical activities to assess phonological skills in pre-readers and beginning readers and could serve as potential screening tools to help in the early identification of students at risk for dyslexia. METHODS: The FAE tasks (alternative tools for educators) were built on classical phonological tasks known as sound categorization and in the Protocol for Cognitive-Linguistic Skills. FAE tasks basically consisted of matching pictures as well as pictures to spoken words according to their phonological similarity in the onset (alliteration) or rhyme and were given to 45 students on the first grade, of both genres and 7.3 years old on average. RESULTS: The protocol proved to be effective, confirming that phonological awareness, verbal working memory and rapid naming abilities constitute the main risk factors for dyslexia, and to which the FAE tasks were more strongly correlated jointly with the phonemic discrimination. FAE tasks were also strongly correlated with literacy skills. CONCLUSIONS: Students at risk for dyslexia can be efficiently identified through scientifically developed pedagogical tools, adapted and tested for the Brazilian's educational reality. This is a promising research field with the potential to help in avoiding the currently excessive number of students mistakenly labeled as having learning disabilities and improperly referred to specialized public services, as well as to indicate the more appropriate theoretical-empirical framework to guide our educational policies.

In recent years it was possible to see a considerable growth of distance education, while the classroom teaching had a more modest growth. Thus, maintained this scenario, it will not take long for the quantitative indicators of distance education outweigh the classroom education. The distance education is evolving rapidly and changing traditional methods of acquiring knowledge and reduce inequalities caused by isolation and distance from large urban centers. This work aims to develop a videolesson and analyze its application in the teaching of statistics to a class of students of FEG, using modern techniques of distance education. To that end, was record a videolesson and developed two assessment tools, one practical and the other qualitative. The results showed that students prefer to follow the resolution of examples, with high degree of difficulty, and the audio recording is a key to the proper understanding of the same. In addition, students consider important mainstay of distance education, the fact that you can attend a class several times, whenever you need it, anywhere

Dentre os mamíferos marinhos presentes na costa brasileira, Sotalia guianensis (subordem Odontoceti, família Delphinidae) é um dos mais comumente encontrados, possuindo ampla distribuição pela América do Sul e Central. Pelo fato de apresentar hábito costeiro, esta espécie encontra-se diretamente relacionada com impactos de origem antrópica tais como poluição, pesca acidental ou degradação de habitats. Somado a estes fatores, a falta de informações relatada pela IUCN surge como outro ponto de preocupação, visto que não se sabe de fato qual o grau de conservação dessa espécie. Por este motivo o presente estudo pretende avaliar características populacionais existentes nos grupos de S. guianensis na região do Lagamar de Cananéia, litoral sul de São Paulo, utilizando-se de microssatélites. Para tanto, aspectos referentes à diversidade genética, grau de parentesco e fluxo gênico entre áreas estuarinas e de mar aberto foram considerados. A amostragem é composta por 22 tecidos oriundos de indivíduos de mar aberto e 11 estuarinos, coletados entre os anos de 1996 e 2009. O material foi amplificado por PCR utilizando-se de oito locos específicos para a espécie. O presente estudo concluiu que a diversidade genética (número de alelos, riqueza alélica, heterozigosidade esperada e observada) ocorrente no grupo de estudo é considerada como moderada quando comparada a outras populações de S. guianensis estudadas. Após a retirada dos locos com indício da presença de alelos nulos, a população mostrou-se em equilíbrio de Hardy-Weinberg, como revelado também pelo valor de FIS. Corroborando com o nível de diversidade genética encontrado, foram avaliados baixos índices de parentesco, sem diferenças significativas entre os grupos em comparação (estuário e mar aberto), bem como entre os sexos, indicando a ausência de dispersão sexo assimétrica... Due to the high value of the bill that the Brazilian has been paying, one of the most expensive in the world, is becoming increasingly attractive the option for renewable energy in form of distributed micro and minigeneration. In other words, the renewable energy sources are becoming attractive not only because of environmental concerns, but also due to economic issues. This has become even more relevant and concrete after approval of rules by National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) on 4/17/2012 (Normative Resolution n ° 482/2012 of 04/17/2012) aimed at reducing barriers to installation of small distributed generation, including microgeneration, with up to 100 kW of power, and minigeneration, 100 kW to 1 MW. The Normative Resolution n ° 482/2012 creates the Energy Clearing System, which allows consumers to install small generators in its consumer unit and exchange energy with the local distributor. The rule applies to generators that use renewable sources of energy (hydro, solar, biomass, wind and cogeneration qualified). In this context, this paper presents a technical and economic analysis of installing a residential microgenerating plant composed of photovoltaic cells, solar panels and small wind turbines
