In inclusive school there are many students and some with disabilities. One of the dimensions of human development of all people's is the sexuality, although there are erroneous beliefs about the relationship sexuality and disability. Teachers must be prepared to deal with the sexuality of their students with disabilities in school, and proposals of education in the form of distance education has been an alternative to the training. This article relate an educational proposal for teachers, linked to a part of the activities undertaken in the discipline "Human Development and Family" on a course of specialization in Special Education in Distance Education mode. Describes an educational object named "Game: challenges and actions in school" , that presented four situations on behaviors involving sexuality of students: question about sexuality, masturbation in the classroom, dating from students and discrimination an obese colleague. In each one, there was potential actions to the teachers choose and, consequently, its unfolding. The choice of actions would lead to the end of a "teacher profile", offering reflections. Teachers reported positive unsolicited comments about the content of the game. It is concluded that the proposal is an important educational tool used in the Virtual Learning Environment that can assist in teacher training courses in sexuality education.

The importance of the inclusion of digital technology in the classroom has already been pointed out by numerous authors in the educational field and some of them herald that it is through this inclusion that we can achieve transformations in school settings. Based on this assumption, this paper aims to present a distance learning course offered to in service and preservice teachers, focused on the use of technology in foreign language classroom primarily focusing on the role of teacher educators in mediating discussions. For this we sought theoretical support in studies which deal with distance courses (KENSKI, 2008), about virtual environments (ARAÚJO and MARQUESI, 2008), online discussion forums and investigation community and teaching presence (GARRISON, ANDERSON and ARCHER, 2000). Based on the previous theories presented, teacher educator’s messages were analyzed during a distance course offered to teachers in continuing and initial training, identifying marks of teaching presence and pointing to appropriate mediations and/or possible gaps. The results indicate that the teacher must be even more aware of the types of feedback that are provided and of the teaching presence mentioned by Garrison and colleagues (2000, 2001).

The objective of the study was to analyze the size of buccal corridor during the smile of individuals from 10 to 19 years of age and to determine whether there is a relationship among buccal corridor, inter premolar distance, inter commissure width. Standard digital frontal photographs in posed broad smiles and dental casts were taken of a sample of 150 individuals divided into 5 age groups of 30 individuals: 10-11 years old (G1), 12-13 years old (G2), 14-15 years old (G3), 16-17 years old (G4), 18-19 years old (G5). Distances among the cusps of superior first premolars and buccal corridors were measured for subsequent comparisons using the Image Tool 3.0 program. Data was analyzed using Anova. The SNK test and Tamhane test were applied. The mean values of the buccal corridor ranged from 4.00-to 10.69 mm on the right side and from 4.06 to 11.43 mm on the left side. In percentage related with intercomissure width each side of the buccal corridor ranged from 7.46 to 16.47% on the right side and from 7.58% to 17.61% on the left side. Buccal corridors were different between genders and increased with age. Males have bigger buccal corridors than females, but there is no difference between gender when calculated as a percentage related with the inter commissure width. The inter premolar width is significantly correlated with inter commissure widths of female individuals 14-15 years old and 18-19 years old, and with the right linear buccal corridor of males and females aged 14-15 years old.

This article analyses aspects related to a continuing education course about Inclusive and Special Education in the area of Mental Disabilities offered to 20 (twenty) groups of teachers by the Ministry of Education. The Distance Course was offered in different regions of Brazil with a 180 (a hundred and eighty) hours workload. The research included the profi le of the participants, an evaluation of the course by the participants and the analysis of the dropout causes. The aspects of the course under evaluation received a positive evaluation by most of the participants. The most frequent reason for the dropout rates include participants’ limitations in terms of meeting deadlines, personal reasons and diffi culties in using computers. It was concluded that Distance Education seems to be a relevant tool for the acquisition of knowledge about inclusive practice.

The aim of the present study was to analyze the effects of looking at targets located at different distances on body oscillation during tasks of distinct difficulties. In Experiment 1, ten participants in quiet stance fixated targets in three conditions: No object-far (fixation on far-target without near-target), Object-near (fixation on near target with fartarget), and Object-far (fixation on far-target with near-target). Mean oscillations of trunk in anterior-posterior axis were smallest in the Object-near condition; the No object-far and Object-far conditions were similar. In Experiment 2, seven participants in kiba-dachi, a karate stance, were submitted to three conditions: Blindfolded, No object-far, and Object-near. Mean oscillations of head and trunk in anterior-posterior axis were smaller in the Object-near as compared to blindfolded condition; trunk oscillated more during No object-far than Object-near condition. The results support the notion that a simple posture is not automatically regulated by the optical flow, but different amounts of visual instability may be tolerated according to the fixation distance, regardless the presence of non-fixated objects; the control of a more difficult posture may also accommodate the effects of fixation distance.
