16 chip, 18 Gchips/s walsh-code implementation of an ECDMA access network using two time-shifted FIR filters

We demonstrate for the first time an electronically processed Walsh Code with 16 chips at 18Gchip/s. An auto-cross correlation ratio of 18.1dB is achieved between two orthogonal codes after transmission over 10km of SMF. © 2009 OSA.

Cloning and analysis of 16 Rab genes from macronuclear DNA of Euplotes octocarinatus

Rab proteins belong to the largest family of the Ras superfamily of small GTPase that play an important role in intracellular vesicular traffic. So far, almost 60 members of Rab family have been identified in mammalian cells. To further study the diversity and function of Rab protein in evolution, unicellular protozoa ciliates, Euplotes octocarinatus, were used in this study, Rab genes were screened by PCR method from macronuclear DNA of E. octocarinatus. Sixteen Rab genes were obtained. They share 87.6 - 99.5% identities. Highly conserved GTP-binding domains were found. There are some hot regions that diverse sharply in these genes as well.

Measurement of a reciprocal four-port transmission line structure using the 16-term error model

A new method to measure reciprocal four-port structures, using a 16-term error model, is presented. The measurement is based on 5 two-port calibration standards connected to two of the ports, while the network analyzer is connected to the two remaining ports. Least-squares-fit data reduction techniques are used to lower error sensitivity. The effect of connectors is deembedded using closed-form equations. (C) 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

A 16-term error model based on linear equations of voltage and current variables

Formulation of a 16-term error model, based on the four-port ABCD-matrix and voltage and current variables, is outlined. Matrices A, B, C, and D are each 2 x 2 submatrices of the complete 4 x 4 error matrix. The corresponding equations are linear in terms of the error parameters, which simplifies the calibration process. The parallelism with the network analyzer calibration procedures and the requirement of five two-port calibration measurements are stressed. Principles for robust choice of equations are presented. While the formulation is suitable for any network analyzer measurement, it is expected to be a useful alternative for the nonlinear y-parameter approach used in intrinsic semiconductor electrical and noise parameter measurements and parasitics' deembedding.

单侧耦合16通道100GHz硅基二氧化硅阵列波导光栅的研制

介绍了一种新型单侧耦合16通道、100GHz通道间隔的硅基二氧化硅阵列波导光栅(AWG).通过增加一个Y分支波导结构,将AWG的输入、输出波导等间距整齐排列,仅用一个光纤阵列(FA)就可以对AWG器件进行耦合封装.这种AWG的结构设计可有效地减小器件尺寸和增加波导结构的弯曲半径,可减少器件的抛光和耦合时间,可降低器件的成本.

16信道0．35μmCMOS／VCSEL光发射模块

研究了垂直腔面发射激光器（VCSEL）及其列阵器件的光谱特性、调制特性、高频特性及与微电子电路的兼容性，将1×16的VCSEL与CMOS专用集成电路进行多芯片组装（MCM），混合集成为16信道VCSEL光发射功能模块。测试过程中，功能模块的光电特性及其均匀性良好，测量的-3dB频带芝宽度大于2GHz。

温度引起的ZnSe/Zn_（0.84）Mn_（0.16）Se超晶格中势阱层和势垒层的反转

测量了ZnSe，Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se合金和ZnSe/Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se超晶格的10～300K的变温光致发光谱。发现ZnSe的带隙在10K时比Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se合金的带隙小，而在300K时比合金的带隙大。预计ZnSe/Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se超晶格中在130K附近会发生势阱层和势垒层的反转。在ZnSe/Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se超晶格中观测到了这种反转但发生在80K附近。超晶格中Zn_(0.84)Mn_(0.16)Se层的应变可能是反转温度变低的原因。

16-channel 0.35 mu m CMOS/VCSEL optoelectronic devices

We report some investigations on vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) arrays and VCSEL based optoelectronic smart photonic multiple chip modules (MCM), consisting of 1 x 16 vertical cavity surface emitting laser array and 16-channel lasers driver 0.35 mum CMOS circuit. The hybrid integrated multiple chip modules based on VCSEL operate at more than 2GHz in -3dB frequency bandwidth.

速度小于Bohr速度(vBhor=2.9×106m/s)的高电荷态离子40Ar16+(动能EK=150keV,速度v=8.5×105m/s)入射金属(Ni,Mo,Au和Al)表面,同时测量产生的Ar原子近红外光谱线和X射线谱.实验结果表明,低速高电荷态离子在金属表面俘获电子中性化,形成多激发态的Ar空心原子,空心原子退激辐射从近红外光谱线到X射线波段谱线,近红外光谱线辐射强度说明,低速高电荷态离子在金属表面中性化过程中,金属的功函数起着重要作用,进而验证了经典过垒模型.
