Based on examples provided by 27 graduate psychology faculty, this self-test incorporates many of the more common errors in style, language, and referencing found in student papers. Taking this self-test helps students to recognize common errors and encourages them to refer the APA Publication Manual on a regular basis. In addition, students begin to think about how to use correctly the language of psychological research. This self-test should take about 30 minutes to complete and score. It is composed of three parts: a) a mock Discussion section, where students are asked to act as editors and find the errors, p. 2 (10 minutes). b) a corrected Discussion section, where students find the errors they missed, p. 3 (5 minutes) and, c) a full description of each error with illustrations of correct usage, pp. 4-7 (15 minutes). This exercise assumes some knowledge of APA style. Thus, it is best-suited for advanced undergraduates who need to write research reports and all levels of graduate students. It may be taken at home or in class. Although the self-test is designed to be fully self-directed, instructors may wish to use it at the beginning or end of a classroom discussion on APA style. It could also be used in a pre-test-post-test fashion to evaluate students learning over the course of a term.

It enables you to display results very easily on graphs and images. To get started with it, you need to understand how to manipulate and represent data, and how to find information about the available functions. During this self-study tutorial, you will learn: 1- How to start Matlab. 2- How you can find out all the information you need. 3- How to create simple vectors and matrices. 4- What functions are available and how to find them. 5- How to plot graphs of functions. 6- How to write a script. El término Mercadeo Electrónico (ME) se refiere a nuevos procesos dentro de una compañía para generar comunicación entre el cliente y el negocio. Este proceso usa los cambios tecnológicos generados en los procesos de comunicación previos, como Internet que ha roto con las barreras culturales, económicas, políticas y geográficas distancia de conexión-. El desarrollo de el ME ha incrementado substancialmente junto con la caída de los costos en las telecomunicaciones y los equipos en la tecnología de información. Esta tesis se aproxima a aspectos de usar algunas tecnologías para el desarrollo de la comunicación entre Inter Staff y sus clientes. El uso de diferentes tipos de publicidades virtual (en especial las usadas en la social media y los diferentes procesos en ésta), diseño y desarrollo de estrategias de mercadeo electrónico son algunos de los resultados obtenidos en éste escrito. El primer capítulo de la tesis presenta un análisis del termino Marketing, objetivos, procesos, herramientas de los medios y Mercadeo electrónico como estrategia. El segundo capítulo de la tesis presenta una introducción a sector de los agentes de aduana. ¿Cómo funcionan? Historia y objetivos. El tercer capítulo desarrolla el Plan de Mercadeo Electrónico. Éste contiene los objetivos, procesos y metas para aplicarlo como estrategia en la empresa.

Web 2.0 is sometimes described as the read/write web, giving everyday users the chance to create and share information as well as to consume information created by others. Social media systems are built on this foundation of participation and sharing, but what is the mindset of these users, and are they quite so everyday as we might suppose? The skills and attitudes held by users can be described as their literacy, and there has been a lot of debate over the last few years about how to describe these literacies, and design for them. One field that has been changed radically by this notion is Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) where a fierce debate has raged about the potential of a new generation of highly literate digital natives, and Edupunks have argued for open and personal systems that challenge traditional models of institutional control. In this session we look at the arguments surrounding digital literacy and examine TEL as an example of how social media can change an application domain.

In this lecture for a second year interdisciplinary course (part of the curriculum innovation programme) We explore the scope of social media analytics and look at two aspects in depth: Analysing for influence (looking at factors such as network structure, propagation of content and interaction), and analysing for trust (looking at different methods including policy, provenance and reputation - both local and global). The lecture notes include a number of short videos, which cannot be included here for copy-write reasons.
