Fayga Ostrower: estudos sobre a pesquisa plástica e teórica nos processos criativos

The way we look express our soul, so there is no way to disregard the presence of intuitive processes in the creation of any work, like say Fayga Ostrower. Based on the theories of the artist, intends to investigate how their own texts read his plastic production, heavily influenced by German Expressionism. The concernment of the research is in the approach how their publications favor the understanding of artistic making as a moment against the intuitive and the fullness of the original creation and true to the thought of the artist.

Utilização das tecnologias assistidas na concepção, no desenvolvimento e no projeto de uma escova dental sustentável e ergonômica

The toothbrush is identified as one of the most importants inventions in human history. Most of them are made by polypropylene, a recyclable polymer. Some are made of polypropylene and polyethylene leftovers from others industrial processes. However, the toothbrushes are discarded incorrectly and end up in landfills, which could be avoided by using a material and design suitable for the manufacture of the product. This study aimed, based on research, develop and design a toothbrush model with great features. For the conception of the prototype, was used rapid prototyping technologies. With the intention of improving the product quality, was created an ergonomic, sustainable and environmentally friendly model, seeking maximally reduce the generation of waste and environmental damages. The solution adopted was the use of "interchangeable head", which can be discarded after their useful life, keeping the rest of the body.

A potencialidade da arte contemporânea ao transcender linguagens favorecendo a vida

Reflection about the contemporary production artistic, the own make artistic and the creative process that involve them it is noted that, comes to the poetic construction the action to greater understanding the being as artist and from the being while humanity. In current procedures that do not prioritize more materials, supports or languages for the production of works, but human being and his complexities, the art is manifested as the essence, need of renovation. From the documentary "Window of the Soul", directed by João Jardim and Walter Carvalho, and from personal creations is studied the transcendence of materiality in hybrids process, actions at resignify the look that investigates and reinterprets. In this exercise, art is justified as experience necessary, metaphors for the life, to teach us to see, fell and restructure us.

Digital Television offers a resolution of highdefinition images and the possibility of interaction with the user. There is an estimate that by 2018 all municipalities in Brazil have digital signal availability and thus there will be a wide spread of Ginga. Ginga is a technology developed for digital television, which runs between the operating system and yours applications. However, the extensive use of Smart TVs would invalidate this technology? Complex sochastic boolean systems : new properties of the intrinsic order graph

[EN]A complex stochastic Boolean system (CSBS) is a system depending on an arbitrary number n of stochastic Boolean variables. The analysis of CSBSs is mainly based on the intrinsic order: a partial order relation defined on the set f0; 1gn of binary n-tuples. Intrinsic Order and Hamming Weight

Wind ensamble forecasting using an adaptive mass-consistent model

[EN]Ensemble forecasting [1] is a methodology to deal with uncertainties in the numerical wind prediction. In this work we propose to apply ensemble methods to the adaptive wind forecasting model presented in [2]. The wind _eld forecasting is based on a mass-consistent model and a log-linear wind pro_le using as input data the resulting forecast wind from Harmonie [3], a Non-Hydrostatic Dynamic model. The mass-consistent model parameters are estimated by using genetic algorithms [4]. The mesh is generated using the meccano method [5] and adapted to the geometry. Advances on T-spline parameterization based on the meccano method

[EN]We have recently introduced a new strategy, based on the meccano method [1, 2], to construct a T-spline parameterization of 2D and 3D geometries for the application of iso geometric analysis [3, 4]. The proposed method only demands a boundary representation of the geometry as input data. The algorithm obtains, as a result, high quality parametric transformation between the objects and the parametric domain, i.e. the meccano. Tetrahedral mesh optimization combining boundary and inner node relocation and adaptive local refinement

[EN]This work introduces a new technique for tetrahedral mesh optimization. The procedure relocates boundary and inner nodes without changing the mesh topology. In order to maintain the boundary approximation while boundary nodes are moved, a local refinement of tetrahedra with faces on the solid boundary is necessary in some cases. New nodes are projected on the boundary by using a surface parameterization.
