Um estudo sobre aspectos da gestão dos resíduos sólidos no município de Ribeirão Preto (SP)

Since the beginning of it’s existence the humankind coexists with the production of waste, both organics and inorganics. Over the years the world population is raising, and consequently the different kinds of waste, causing significant problems not only for the public authorities, but also for the population, not only those related with its final or temporary destination but also with its crescent production. Considering it, the cities are not able to handle there volumes, and its landfills and dumps are working over their capacities, leading to a serie of environmental problems due to the lost of environmental quality and the natural and social vulnerabilities arising. This paper plans to working over visits, photographic registration and a review on the theme literature, study the perception and valuation of the landscape on the Ribeirão Preto landfill, São Paulo state (SP), that today is disabled but still an area of risk and environmental vulnerability, well as the perception of environmental quality in the surrounding population

A educação infantil na produção científica: conveniamento, financiamento e qualidade

O acesso à educação infantil é um direito da criança, a sua oferta é obrigação do poder público municipal embora a matrícula seja uma opção da família. Devido a crescente demanda nesta etapa da educação, surgiram estratégias para ampliar o atendimento. Em sendo assim, atualmente tem-se expandido, na rede pública, a oferta de vagas para educação infantil principalmente por meio de convênios e parcerias público-privadas, de certa maneira, incentivados pelo Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (FUNDEB), que admite a distribuição dos recursos públicos às instituições conveniadas. Este estudo está vinculado ao Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Política Educacional, GREPPE (grupo interinstitucional) – Seção Rio Claro, mais precisamente ao Projeto de Pesquisa intitulado Avaliando a produção científica sobre financiamento e convênios na educação infantil, coordenado pela Profª Drª Regiane Helena Bertagna. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo mapear e analisar a temática relacionada ao conveniamento e financiamento da educação infantil a partir de periódicos científicos nacionais de educação, avaliados pela CAPES como ―A1 – ano de referência 2008 - durante os anos de 2000 a 2010. Por meio de pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, de levantamento e análise bibliográfica, foram verificados e analisados os assuntos mais abordados em relação à temática nos estudos científicos, a saber: teoria econômica em educação; globalização e educação; Estado e educação; organismos internacionais e a infância; política de fundos para educação; atendimento na educação infantil. A empatia, a sensibilização e a formação de professores do ensino público para uma inclusão efetiva de alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais

Special education and inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in regular classrooms of public schools has being widely discussed in academic and political areas. From Salamanca Declaration signed in 1994, which established that the education of people with special needs should be guaranteed by public system, being offered within regular classrooms said. Along the inclusion process, has been observed an increasingly difficult for teachers to work with these special students. This difficulty comes from an incomplete or inadequate formation, resulting in an education that is not always inclusive. The present work aims to investigate what are the motivational factors that lead teachers, working in public schools, to seek continuing courses of formation in specialized educational services, and what are the possible impediments that eschew them from seeking such courses. Data were collected through questionnaires given to elementary school teachers, from public schools in the city of Rio Claro- SP. With their answer, it could be identified what are the motivational factors of the quest for continuing formation, as well as facts that obstruct this specialization. It could be observed that there is a need for constant training of the education professionals, for them to be able to appropriate of the inclusion as a pedagogical approach, not just a law and far from reality

Análise de uma avaliação diagnóstica de matemática: de uma escola estadual de Rio Claro

A pesquisa consiste na análise de uma avaliação diagnóstica aplicada em escolas estaduais do Estado de São Paulo no ano de 2012, essa avaliação é concedida pelo próprio Estado, porém essa análise se restringe em apenas uma escola com cinco salas de sétimos anos, totalizando cerca de cento e trinta alunos. O objetivo é examinar as provas de matemática e através dos resultados verificarem se as habilidades e competências dos alunos estão de acordo com o nível esperado para o ano em que se encontram, para realizar essa análise será feito a tabulação dos resultados que será apresentado em forma de banco de dados e tabelas, e também será realizada a análise descritiva. Também será falado quando e o porquê surgiu esse sistema de avaliação e as mudanças que teve ao longo do tempo

Parcerias entre municípios paulistas e a esfera privada para a aquisição de sistemas de ensino apostilados na educação infantil

This paper analyses the partnership among cities of São Paulo „state and the private sector to acquire material for children school. Our study was based on data gathered during the research “Municipal Strategy to the offering of the basic education: Public-Private relationship analysis in the São Paulo „state”, supported by FAPESP. The results, confirming previous works (ADRIÃO, 2007 e 2008), show that the join on this kind of partnership grew from 2006 and will become a tendency in the Educational system, even on the education step where it have been discussed about the standardization of the pedagogic material.

Técnicas de Bioengenharia Aplicadas ás Áreas de Preservação Permanente Urbanas – Presidente Prudente, São Paulo

There is a demand to incorporate the nature in the city in order to meet the wishes of the entire population. The valuation of water, a key component of the quality of the landscape, becomes a key element in this context both for its ecological potential because of their potential for recreational activities. The areas that suffer most impacts are the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs) and this paper will be a weighting on the urban interface - PPA. With the study area the basin of the stream of Limoeiro, in the context of the Friendship Fountain Balneary, especially the source contained between residential neighborhoods Maré Mansa and Parque Imperial, the city of Presidente Prudente and Álvares Machado, Sao Paulo, this paper aims to search and use of knowledge about technologies and techniques of environmental restoration, with emphasis on bioengineering, through an environmental characterization of the basin, with a view the incorporation of nature in the lives of the urban population. The methodology includes: literature review priority issues related to the PPAs, linear parks, relevant environmental legislation, environmental characterization of the watershed of the stream Limoeiro; study of technologies and techniques for environmental remediation of soil bioengineering and implementation of parks linear, development of proposals for the environmental recovery of PPA in the basin of the stream Limoeiro, focusing on emerging... Os cadernos de física: algumas inquietações sobre o currículo oficial do Estado de São Paulo

The assumptions of Marxist philosophy helps us understand the inherent contradictions of the historical process. The category mode of production is understood as the means and the ends for which mankind produces and reproduces reality objectively and subjectively. The temporal evolution of the mode of production has spurred antagonistic social classes, which are the world capitalist bourgeoisie and proletariat. At the rise of the current mode of production each class produced a pedagogy according to your interests. The proposal of the workers is centered on unity between teaching and non-alienated labor, enabling the development of human potential and building a new social order. The last historical period was marked by the implementation of the neoliberal agenda to reduce social spending and market liberalization. The educational reforms of the state of São Paulo followed the same goals. From the program São Paulo Faz Escola, São Paulo School Curriculum was introduced in the State of São Paulo, which integrates several documents. The Student Notebook, separated by discipline and delivered bimonthly to students of public schools, is one of those publications. Specifically, the physics notebook brings a content with no depth, where theories are presented by minimizing the mathematical formalism for a broad education that meets the needs for dynamize the economy

Financiamento e convênios na educação infantil: uma análise a partir de periódicos nacionais

This study is bound to the “Research and Studies in Educational Policies”, GREPPE (interinstitutional group) – Rio Claro Section, more accurately to the Research Project entitled Evaluating the scientific production about financing and agreements in childhood education, coordinate by Prof. Dr. Regiane Helena Bertagna, that has as main objective to survey of scientific production at the national level related to the theme of financing and agreements in childhood education in the period from 2000 to 2010. This research has as objective to analyze the financing of childhood education examinee issues of educational policies related to this aspect in this stage of the basic education in national journals. It is intended to ascertain the discussion held in the articles about childhood education financing highlighting the strategies used by the government to offer treatment to the childhood education by means of agreements, or even, by means of public-private partnerships. For the development of this research will be conducted a survey and data analysis from journals of the “Coordination of Improvement of Senior Staff” (CAPES) classified as A2 in the evaluation of 2008. The research will make a cutting between the years from 2000 to 2010; will be analyzed only the national journals online available and that adress the thematic studied

Desafios contemporâneos da educação

Se historicamente a educação escolar no Brasil foi marcada por um profundo corte elitista, o processo de democratização do ensino apresentou incontestáveis avanços desde a Constituição de 1988. A caminhada pela universalização, no entanto, não se deu à margem de suas heranças históricas, bem como novas fronteiras surgiram para o desafio da educação emancipatória. Esta obra reúne 17 ensaios que debatem os dilemas existentes no cotidiano da sala de aula.
