This research aims to analyze the housing conditions and socioeconomic of beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família Program – PBF of the North side of Natal city. For that, it is necessary a survey of this region's origins and how its expansion has occurred in the context of local urban development, considering demographic evolution, in particular, from the construction of housing complex and formal and informal allotments. From the field research, consisting of a pilot in loco with some households, it became possible to start the analysis of housing conditions that culminated with a detailed study of the Single Register form of the federal Government (CadÚnico), in relation to 100% (one hundred percent) of the beneficiaries of the Bolsa Familia program (PBF) of Natal city, with qualitative and quantitative information. From this general survey, a cut was done, contemplating only beneficiaries residing in the north of the city. To better understand this reality, the survey found the Brazilian housing deficit, considering its origins, historical contexts and concepts used by the following institutions: João Pinheiro Foundation (FJP), Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Applied Economics Research Institute (IPEA), and Local Plan Housing of Social Interested (PLHIS) and the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (UN-HABITAT). Furthermore, were compared the various concepts of city and its respective evolution, considering the importance of planning as an instrument of public policy necessary to governmental actions and permanent policy of State. As a result, there are a detach about the deficit and housing conditions in the city of Natal, mainly North Zone, pointing out the importance of using the Unified Register of the federal government as an effective tool to measure the living conditions of Brazilian municipalities.

Los principales recursos pesqueros pelágicos de interés económico en el Perú son anchoveta (Engraulis ringens), jurel (Trachurus murphyi) y caballa (Scomber japonicus) [3]. Para su evaluación, se lleva a cabo cruceros de evaluación acústica en los que se integra información de ecoabundancia y proporción de tallas por especie para obtener valores de biomasa y abundancia. Sin embargo, para especies no objetivo (como jurel), dichos valores resultan poco confiables por la lejanía entre los puntos de muestreo biométrico y acústico. Para resolver este inconveniente, el presente trabajo propuso utilizar modelos empíricos (de tipo GAM y GLM) integrando variables ambientales y de seguimiento de desembarques con la finalidad de generar índices relativos y absolutos para anchoveta y jurel en el período de 1996-2013 dentro del área de las 200 mn frente a la costa peruana. Los resultados obtenidos realzaron la importancia de los lances de comprobación para la obtención de estimaciones robustas de biomasa. Así mismo, se observó que, para anchoveta, los modelos empíricos sí produjeron un buen índice relativo y absoluto, mejorando la utilización de la ecoabundancia por sí sola. Para jurel, sin embargo, el modelo final calibrado resultó en la obtención de un mejor índice relativo. Se recomienda además, la obtención de información de tallas y pesos medios de desembarques para jurel con la finalidad de mejorar las estimaciones de biomasa y abundancia.

Owing to na intense process of urban development, urban uneasiness and discomfort in the daily life of populations have nowadays, especially in the big cities, become increasingly ordinary issues. Population density, degeneration of central areas and pollution are some of the environmental stressors the urban man is subjected to. The existence of open areas in the urban network contributes to a better movement of the air and transforms salubrity conditions. Yet, it has been noticed that parks and squares are disappearing from the heart of the city districts. In their place there are either unused plots of land where garbage has been dumped or nearly all-paved squares with meager or no vegetation at all. Such areas, when handled properly, play an important role in the city because in addition to being zones for rendering a mild climate they perform social, cultural and hygienic functions. Aiming at demonstrating that proper handling of green areas can favorably influence the local microclimate, we have attempted to develop analysis from the point of view of bioclimatizing attributes of urban form and their relationship to the local microclimate found in the eight open areas located in the Ponta Negra Housing Complex in the city of Natal/RN

As an example of what happened in Brazil in the 90s, it s noticed in Natal a new system of cooperative housing production which is done by advancing the users resources selffinancing. This system comes as an alternative for the real state market performance since the end of the National Housing Bank (BNH), in 1986. Self-financed housing cooperatives play an important social role by contributing to own housing acquisition by low-income population, without, however, becoming a mechanism of social interest housing production. It is important to consider that Brazil registers a housing deficit of 6.6 million housing units (IBGE 2000/Census), which, compared to 1991, shows an increment of 21.7% to a growth rate of 2.2% a year. This deficit figure has been deepening, mainly with the end of the National Housing Bank (BNH). The self-financed cooperative housing production broadens around the Metropolitan Region of Natal (RMN) and remains as an alternative to the lack of financing in the housing / real state market. In general, the aim of this work is to analyze the role of self-financing housing cooperatives on the housing production in the RMN, in order to identify their role in the real state market, in the own housing promotion and in the housing policy. The Universe of this study is performance of four housing cooperatives - CHAF-RN, COOPHAB-RN, MULTHCOOP e CNH - that work through self-financing. It is considered here an amount of 38 undertakings launched between 1993 and 2002, including 8143 housing units. The methodology adopted consists of bibliographic, documental and field research. As a result, actions like brokerage, marketing, speculation, and the criteria to define places for undertakings and final products, show how close they are to the housing market production. As a matter of fact, this short distance explains why the self-financed cooperative production for social interest housing is still limited. This reinforces the theory that it is necessary to define and implement a subsidized housing policy to serve the low-income Brazilian population

Characterized by the occupation of large areas, providing private security and utilities, this kind of real estate use arises a long list of questions and issues from society and scholars, due to privatization of urban space, bending of law constraints and the lack of an integrated planning of the cities where they are built. The reasons for its fast growth in Brazil s urban areas are analyzed, considering the impact on formal urban planning and municipal services and on the identification of urbanistic, architectural pattern and constraints, as well as legal, social and economic issues. This study is based on the detailed analysis of the first three units of gated communities built in the urban space in Natal, between 1995 and 2003, including their evolution throughout time and the specific social and economic reasons for its present widespread adoption in Brazilian real estate market and, particulary, in our city. The main objective of this piece of work is to answer the why s and how s these phenomena evolved, setting a basis for the definition of adequate public policies and regulation of this kind of urban land use

La presente monograf?a se enfoca en el problema que se presenta actualmente en Colombia en el ?rea de vivienda y las consecuencias que ello acarrea.El mal redise?o del sistema UPAC, enfocado ahora a hacer un buen negocio para los bancos, condujo a la crisis del financiamiento de la vivienda. Entre tanto, la intervenci?n del Estado parece haberse enfocado en resolver el problema de la rentabilidad del cr?dito hipotecario: El fomento general de la vivienda dio paso a los subsidios focalizados y al refuerzo del concepto de vivienda de inter?s social VIS como ejes de dicha pol?tica. (P?rez y P?rez 2009, Torres 2009) Este cambio paradigm?tico se reflej? en la producci?n de trabajos sobre el tema: La mayor?a de estudios sobre el d?ficit habitacional se enfocan en el d?ficit cualitativo (cantidad de viviendas respecto a la cantidad de hogares), sobre la vivienda de inter?s social VIS y su financiamiento. De otraparte algunos trabajos de acad?micos, como se ver? en el estado del arte, usan como proxie del d?ficit la Propiedad de la vivienda, revelando con ello el sesgo. (Gonz?lez y Nieva 2004). Lo anterior gener? una escasez de estudios que abordaran directamente el d?ficit cualitativo y sus componentes. De esta observaci?n surge la idea del presente trabajo y justifica su ejecuci?n, en la medida en que contribuye con modestia a llenar dicho vac?o.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo la realización de un estudio térmico y acústico de diferentes tipos de fachada multicapa con elementos de madera. De este modo, se analizará el espesor mínimo de aislamiento de las fachadas planteadas con el fin de obtener unas soluciones con el menor espesor posible que cumplan la normativa vigente en el CTE para el mejor aprovechamiento de la superficie útil. Así, será posible conocer diferentes tipologías de fachadas que presenten unas prestaciones térmicas y acústicas idóneas en las distintas zonas climáticas del país, junto con una comparativa económica de las distintas soluciones propuestas.
