Se desarrolla una experiencia con estudiantes de 3õ de BUP que relaciona la historia y la literatura como expresiones de la realidad sociocultural desde la Edad Media hasta la Guerra Civil. El trabajo se basa en encuadrar las grandes líneas histórico-literarias, preparar el trabajo individual, seleccionar textos y diapositivas y sintetizar los resultados. La evaluación tiene en cuenta la participación de los grupos en el aula, la preparación de visitas, la elaboración de mapas y planos y la asimilación y crítica de textos históricos y literarios..

In Reading Television: Limits of the course TV in the School and the Challenges of Today in Sergipe , we had as objective to detect that type of critical reading of the cultural texts produced by the television, professionals of the education of the public net of the basic and average education of the state of Sergipe that all had concluded its 3 (three) modules carries through. We were effectively tutorial of the first edition of this course of extension in the distance and witness some inconsistencies in its application, moment where the instigated investigation appeared: ahead of the current necessity of if understanding with a critical sense, the paper that plays it measured them in orchestration of the globalizado world, that type of critical reading of the audiovisual language is capable to carry through a professional of the education that participated of a course of this nature? Beginning with documental analysys and qualitative metodology we try to analyse in four chapters, since the origins and motivations of this course, to the opinions of 10 (ten) former course students about the approaches of the same thematic subject by two different television new programs, without missing the opinions of the tutors about the conditions in which were made 4 (four) consecutive editions of the course in Sergipe nor the concrete relationships estabilished by the former course students and the audiovisual on their everyday routine both at home and at work. We conclude that the reading made by the former course students is based on common sense and then not satisfactory to the requirements of this task nowadays, and at the same time we point out that the course failed, for it presented severe issues in terms of management and operations in its practical application to distance, by priorizing quantity over quality, by linking itself to a deficient technical structure, by not beholding the diosyncrasies nor the fundamental videos the teachers have access everyday and that it all had direct relation with the attachment of this course to a verticalized policy of technologization of brazilian education.

Feitiços velados às gentis leitoras: “Cinco Mulheres” no Jornal das Famílias

Esta dissertação analisa a presença da moralidade no conto "Cinco Mulheres", de Machado de Assis, publicado no Jornal das Famílias em agosto e setembro de 1865, para tanto considera a perspicácia do narrador na composição da personagem feminina e na construção do enredo. Objetivou-se ressaltar como Marcelina, Antônia, Carolina, Carlota e Hortência, mesmo delineadas para figurar em um jornal moralizante, revelam muito sutilmente a ruptura com a submissão que se esperava da mulher da época. Para isso, foram observados, no periódico, as seções, os expedientes, os editorias, as ilustrações, a fim de perceber cintilações da representação de subordinação alegórica da mulher do século XIX. A escassez de textos críticos sobre os primeiros escritos do autor revela o desinteresse com que essas obras têm sido tratadas e a leitura do conto em tela é uma maneira de resistir à compreensão de que somente os textos depois da década de 80 merecem complexidade, o que também é objetivo deste estudo. Com isso, o levantamento da fortuna crítica dos textos iniciais de Machado, em especial os direcionados aos seus contos, oportuniza discutir sobre a composição da figura feminina e como ela era apresentada à leitora do jornal casamenteiro. Ao invés de apresentar o casamento como sustentáculo da sociedade, o "Bruxo do Cosme Velho" apresenta as incongruências possíveis de ocorrer nos matrimônios: enlaces sem amor, infelicidade do casal, traição do marido e da esposa, o que possibilita à leitora da época refletir sobre sua condição subalterna diante da sociedade patriarcal e do cerceamento vivido.

Eça de Queirós na Gazeta de Notícias (Rio de Janeiro): a função social do jornal

There will be a review on the collaboration of Eça de Queirós in Gazeta de Notícias (Rio de Janeiro-1880-1897), written directly to the Brazilian public. In some of these texts Eça makes reflections on the mediation that the newspaper plays in society, particularly in southern Europe. We believe that in these texts there are manifestations and traits of doctrinal-programmatic nature, metalitterary aspects and also a kind of history of occidental press. These press texts are now gathered in Textos de Imprensa IV – da Gazeta de Notícias, which includes the volume critical edition of the works of Eça de Queirós, coordinated by Carlos Reis. The study of these texts will contribute to the analysis and interpretation of his fiction and journalistic works.
