Implantació d'un ERP a un hospital públic

Aquest projecte tracta de la implantació del mòdul de Gestió dels Recursos Humans de la tecnologia SAP. En concret s’estudia la versió relativa al Sector Públic que aquest Software ofereix. Per tal de realitzar el Projecte ens fixem en un ens públic determinat com és un Hospital tenint en compte totes les peculiaritats que aquests organismes presenten. Part essencial del Projecte es dedica a la gestió del correcte pagament de la Nòmina i la representació de l’Estructura Organitzativa. Es cobreixen també tots els aspectes que les legislacions vigents imposen en aquests àmbits.

La adaptación del reconocimiento de objetos sobre la robótica móvil requiere un enfoque y nuevas aplicaciones que optimicen el entrenamiento de los robots para obtener resultados satisfactorios. Es conocido que el proceso de entrenamiento es largo y tedioso, donde la intervención humana es absolutamente necesaria para supervisar el comportamiento del robot y la dirección hacia los objetivos. Es por esta razón que se ha desarrollado una herramienta que reduce notablemente el esfuerzo humano que se debe hacer para esta supervisión, automatizando el proceso necesario para obtener una evaluación de resultados, y minimizando el tiempo que se malgasta debido a errores humanos o falta de infraestructuras.

Estudio para la implantación de un sistema ERP en una empresa dedicada a la hostelería

Este proyecto consiste en el estudio previo que se tiene que llevar a cabo para implantar un ERP en una empresa. En este caso, la empresa se trata de una PYME del sector de la restauración/hostelería. El estudio que se ha realizado sobre los tres ERP's son productos que se encuentran en el mercado, concretamente se han estudiado los ERP's de Openbravo, SAP y Datisa. El motivo de porque estos tres se debe a que el primero es open source, el segundo consiste en un producto de una empresa líder en el sector de los ERP's y el tercero porque es una solución de hostelería realizada por una mediana empresa.

On the effect of the geographical scope of agglomeration economies on firm location

This article analyses how agglomeration economies shaped the location decisions of new manufacturing start-ups in Catalan municipalities in 2001-2005. We estimate whether the locations of new firms are spatially autocorrelated and whether this phenomenon is industry-specific. Our aim is to estimate the geographical scope of agglomeration economies on firm entries. The data set comes from a compulsory register of manufacturing establishments (REIC: Catalan Manufacturing Establishments Register). Cuadro de mando : control de ventas

La empresa Eatout quiere crear un Cuadro de Mando desde el que llevar el control de ventas de los restaurantes. Actualmente se comprueba qué locales faltan por cerrar la jornada de ventas y se lleva un registro de los errores desde una hoja de cálculo. Con este proyecto se pretende agilizar y facilitar la gestión de ventas, y analizar las posibles causas de esas faltas. Para ello, se creará una aplicación en .NET desde la que gestionarán los cierres que falten por realizar en una jornada indicando cuál ha sido el motivo. Después se analizarán estos datos a través de la herramienta de Business Objects de SAP creando un Cuadro de Mando.

Characterization of two receptors for TRAIL.

Two receptors for TRAIL, designated TRAIL-R2 and TRAIL-R3, have been identified. Both are members of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. TRAIL-R2 is structurally similar to the death-domain-containing receptor TRAIL-R1 (DR-4), and is capable of inducing apoptosis. In contrast, TRAIL-R3 does not promote cell death. TRAIL-R3 is highly glycosylated and is membrane bound via a putative phosphatidylinositol anchor. The extended structure of TRAIL-R3 is due to the presence of multiple threonine-, alanine-, proline- and glutamine-rich repeats (TAPE repeats). TRAIL-R2 shows a broad tissue distribution, whereas the expression of TRAIL-R3 is restricted to peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) and skeletal muscle. All three TRAIL receptors bind TRAIL with similar affinity, suggesting a complex regulation of TRAIL-mediated signals.

DCU per a la configurabilitat d'una estació de treball clínic

Gairebé un 50% dels metges de la sanitat catalana realitzen actualment les seves tasques assistencials en entorns SAP. Donada la naturalesa de la seva feina, és fàcil afirmar que les aplicacions que utilitzen habitualment haurien d'haver estat desenvolupades centrant l'atenció en l'usuari i el context en què aquest realitza la seva feina. Però degut a diversos motius organitzatius, això no ha estat així. Aquest projecte pretén demostrar el valor afegit que pot aportar el Disseny Centrat en l'Usuari en el desenvolupament d'aplicacions assistencials en l'àmbit SAP Sanitat. S'ha realitzat una investigació prèvia de les necessitats reals dels usuaris, un anàlisi del context d'ús i dels diferents perfils de usuari, s'ha desenvolupat un prototip amb la nova tecnologia que aporta SAP per al desenvolupament de interfícies tipus web integrades en el sistema (SAP Webdynpro for ABAP), i finalment s'ha realitzat la corresponent avaluació heurística i el test de usuaris. S'ha arribat principalment a tres conclusions: en primer lloc, ha sorprès la bona disposició dels usuaris metges per a participar en aquesta mena de projectes; en segon lloc, ha quedat demostrada la importància de l'anàlisi del context, així com la rellevància que el dissenyador estigui quan més a prop millor de l'usuari final; i finalment, cal destacar que la tecnologia emprada ha limitat qualitativament diverses opcions de disseny.

Construcció i explotació d'un magatzem de dades per a l'anàlisi d'informació immobiliària

Aquest projecte consisteix en facilitar a l'empresa Sostre per a tothom l'anàlisi del seu catàleg d'immobles a Andorra i Espanya. Per poder oferir aquesta visió estratègica, es proposa la creació d'un nou magatzem de dades corporatiu, estructurat de tal manera que faciliti l'explotació d'aquesta informació pel seu anàlisis posterior, per tal d'ajudar en la pressa de decisions. Com a resultat del projecte s'obtenen tres productes; el propi magatzem de dades corporatiu, l'aplicació batch que executa el procés per poblar aquest magatzem i una bateria d'informes inicials que facilitaran la interpretació d'aquesta informació.

A study of the cambial zone and conductive phloem of common beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) using an image analysis method. I. Influence of tree age on the structure

Quantification is a major problem when using histology to study the influence of ecological factors on tree structure. This paper presents a method to prepare and to analyse transverse sections of cambial zone and of conductive phloem in bark samples. The following paper (II) presents the automated measurement procedure. Part I here describes and discusses the preparation method, and the influence of tree age on the observed structure. Highly contrasted images of samples extracted at breast height during dormancy were analysed with an automatic image analyser. Between three young (38 years) and three old (147 years) trees, age-related differences were identified by size and shape parameters, at both cell and tissue levels. In the cambial zone, older trees had larger and more rectangular fusiform initials. In the phloem, sieve tubes were also larger, but their shape did not change and the area for sap conduction was similar in both categories. Nevertheless, alterations were limited, and demanded statistical analysis to be identified and ascertained. The physiological implications of the structural changes are discussed.

El treball presentat fa l'estudi i l'anàlisi per a la implementació d'un sistema de gestió integrat ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) a l'empresa TEXFIL, centrat únicament en solucions empresarials estàndards de paquets integrats per a la planificació dels recursos de l'empresa. Tot i que al llarg del document es fa esment de diferents fabricants de sistemes ERP, nosaltres, a petició del nostre client, ens hem centrat bàsicament en el sistema SAP R/3.

Director of Public Health annual report 2012 and core tables 2011

Improving the health and wellbeing of the elderly is the theme of the fourth Director of Public Health annual report, launched on 12 June 2013. Northern Ireland's elderly population is growing and older people are living longer than ever before, which emphasises the importance of providing health and social care that allows them to live a productive life.This report highlights the many areas of public health work aimed at giving elderly people in Northern Ireland the best opportunity to live active and healthy lives in a safe and secure environment. Anti-leishmanial and structure-activity relationship of ring substituted 3-phenyl-1-(1,4-di-N-oxide quinoxalin-2-yl)-2-propen-1-one derivatives

A series of ring substituted 3-phenyl-1-(1,4-di-N-oxide quinoxalin-2-yl)-2-propen-1-one derivatives were synthesized and tested for in vitro leishmanicidal activity against amastigotes of Leishmania amazonensis in axenical cultures and murine infected macrophages. Structure-activity relationships demonstrated the importance of a radical methoxy at position R3', R4' and R5'. (2E)-3-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-phenyl)-1-(3,6,7-trimethyl-1,4-dioxy-quinoxalin-2-yl)-propenone was the most active. Cytotoxicity on macrophages revealed that this product was almost six times more active than toxic.

Phylogeny and evolution of the aspartyl protease family from clinically relevant Candida species

Aspartyl proteases are a class of enzymes that include the yeast aspartyl proteases and secreted aspartyl protease (Sap) superfamilies. Several Sap superfamily members have been demonstrated or suggested as virulence factors in opportunistic pathogens of the genus Candida. Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, Candida dubliniensis and Candida parapsilosis harbour 10, four, eight and three SAP genes, respectively. In this work, genome mining and phylogenetic analyses revealed the presence of new members of the Sap superfamily in C. tropicalis (8), Candida guilliermondii (8), C. parapsilosis(11) and Candida lusitaniae (3). A total of 12 Sap families, containing proteins with at least 50% similarity, were discovered in opportunistic, pathogenic Candida spp. In several Sap families, at least two subfamilies or orthologous groups were identified, each defined by > 90% sequence similitude, functional similarity and synteny among its members. No new members of previously described Sap families were found in a Candida spp. clinical strain collection; however, the universality of SAPT gene distribution among C. tropicalis strains was demonstrated. In addition, several features of opportunistic pathogenic Candida species, such as gene duplications and inversions, similitude, synteny, putative transcription factor binding sites and genome traits of SAP gene superfamily were described in a molecular evolutionary context.
