Tämä tutkielman tavoitteena on selvittää strategisen hankintatoimen merkitystä yrityksen liiketoimintaan ja sen kehittämiseen. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on kehittää Veolia Transport Finland Oy:n hankintatoimen eri osa-alueita, prosesseja sekä työtehtävien organisointia. Tavoitteena on auttaa myös johtoa ja esimiehiä ymmärtämään, millä tavoin hankintafunktio liittyy organisaation taloudellisiin tavoitteisiin ja tuloksiin. Tutkimuksen tavoitteisiin pyritään vastamaan analysoimalla yrityksen toimintaa hankinta-aineiston perusteella, joka on kerätty tuotettu yrityksen taloushallinnon ohjelmista. Tutkimuksen mukaan hankintafunktion kehittämisprosessissa tulee huomioida hankintojen erilaisuus ja hankintaorganisaation muodostaminen yritysrakenne huomioiden. Tämän lisäksi yrityksen kansainvälisyydellä on oma tärkeä roolinsa hankintafunktion kehittämisprosessissa.

A formação ética e bioética é fundamental para a humanização do atendimento preconizada pela política de saúde no Brasil e para o desenvolvimento de um profissional crítico.Estudos recentes revelam que Ética e Bioética têm carga horária restrita nos cursos médicos. Ressalta-se, ainda, sua importância diante do grande número de denúncias contra médicos recebido pelos Conselhos Regionais de Medicina. O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar a percepção sobre questões éticas e bioéticas dos alunos do sexto ano médico, que, portanto, logo estariam ingressando no mercado de trabalho. Foram entregues questionários autoaplicáveis com perguntas abertas e fechadas aototal de 93 matriculados, dos quais 70 responderam. Os alunos consideraram a formação curricular acadêmica e o exemplo prático dos professores como importantes fontes de aprendizado da Ética e Bioética. Este fato contrapõe-se à insatisfação quanto à forma de abordagem do tema na graduação. O estudo tornou evidente a existência de deficiências no ensino que devem ser supridas a fim de aprimorar a formação ética e a prática médica.

The main objective of this master’s thesis was to determine, what are the insights, challenges and problems related to differing business logics and principles of income generation and how can they be integrated in a financial group with insurance and banking operations from the perspective of customer profitability. Review of the industrial specific features had a high priority in the study. The study is a qualitative case study with empirical data collected from semi-structured interviews. Qualitative research method was chosen since it produces kind of data required to answer the research questions. Interviewees were chosen from different organizational levels to achieve a comprehensive big picture of the subject. The key result of the study is that the most important factor for the customer profitability on the financial sector is to find and fulfill the customer needs with a comprehensive service package. Also long-term customer relationships were considered significant and customer life cycle assessment essential. In the case-organization the most significant factors in this process were a strong local presence and the tacit knowledge of the customers’ business and activities, although there are major challenges in systematic exploitation of this information. The management of the customer profitability in case-organization faces great challenges because of the history of growth via acquisitions, which has led to so-called “problem of the two balance sheets”, conflict in corporate culture and establishment of the mutual goals and performance measurement.

The aim of this study was to create a Balanced Scorecard to the DigiCup solution. The first goal was to create process descriptions to the few critical processes. The second goal was to define appropriate measurements, according to customer survey as well as following the Balanced Scorecard process description, to manage the critical success factors. The overall goal of this study was to create a performance measurement system for the solution which guides the operation towards continuous improvement. This study was conducted by using both qualitative and quantitative methods, and the analysis was done by using a case study method. The material was gathered from the current customers, the management and the employees using structured, semi-structured and open group and individual interviews. The current customers were divided into retailers and direct customers of the DigiCup solution. The questions which the customers were asked were related to the information about interviewee, company, business strategy, market, satisfaction survey and future requirements. The management defined the strategy and took part in specifying the perspectives, objectives and measurements to the Balanced Scorecard of the DigiCup solution. The employees participated into the choosing of the metrics. The material consisted from altogether sixteen interviews. At the beginning of the study the product development, the order-delivery as well as the printing processes was chosen to be the critical processes of the DigiCup solution. These processes were concentrated on already in the literature review while trying to find the characteristics of these processes as well as the critical success factors and the appropriate measurements, which could be utilized when creating the Balanced Scorecard to the DigiCup solution according to the customer survey. The appropriate perspectives, objectives and measurements were found to the DigiCup solution. The chosen measures works as a basis for the development of IT-reporting tool. As a conclusion it can be stated that when discussing a new business, where the objectives are changing according to which development’s phases the company is in, the measurement should be updated often enough.

O objetivo deste estudo foi fazer uma análise da dinâmica da cobertura vegetal de Curitiba, PR, por meio da manipulação de imagens Landsat TM. Para isso, foram utilizadas duas imagens Landsat TM, sendo uma de 2004 e outra de 1986, que foram georreferenciadas, classificadas e processadas, a fim de se obter o mapa de cobertura vegetal das duas datas. Foram analisados aspectos quantitativos, bem como a distribuição da cobertura vegetal pelas regionais administrativas da cidade nas duas datas. A cobertura vegetal diminuiu em todas as regionais, como resultado do crescimento urbano, principalmente nas áreas de menor densidade urbana e maior quantidade de cobertura vegetal. Dessa forma, a urbanização expandiu-se para além das áreas de ocupação tradicionais. A regional que apresentou maior diminuição de cobertura vegetal foi a Pinheirinho e a que teve menor diminuição, a Matriz. Foi possível identificar maior carência de cobertura vegetal justamente nas áreas onde a ocupação urbana se faz mais presente. Tal informação pode ser útil ao planejamento de áreas verdes ou à arborização urbana, contribuindo como subsídio para o direcionamento das ações a serem realizadas, ao indicar potencialidades, vocações, carências e necessidades das diversas regiões da cidade.
