Evidentemente, como todas, a filosofia de Deleuze será sempre menos do que exigimos ou esperamos dela, mas também muito mais do que lhe concedemos ou dizemos da mesma. No que tem de vivo, de vital, a obra de Deleuze não deixa de provocar fugas em todos os comentários que perseguem sua totalização à conta de uma imagem, de uma doutrina ou de uma data. Não há «um» Deleuze, radicalizado à força de privilegiar o que tem de irredutível com relação aos diferentes horizontes de leitura. Mas também não existem «dois» Deleuze, desdobrados segundo uma dialética de apropriação que requereria, para a salvação de um punhado de princípios, o anátema de parte de sua filosofia. Digamos, antes, que há «pluralidade» de conceitos, de perspectivas e de textos, que associamos ao nome de Deleuze, mas sempre de um modo local, estratégico, essencialmente aberto. Na sua determinação propriamente deleuziana, a história da filosofia não tem por objeto restaurar o sentido profundo do que os autores teriam dito para nós, mas apenas extrair um duplo. E, com os duplos, já se sabe como é: nunca estamos seguros de quem é quem. Os desiguais textos que compõem o presente livro não pretendem desmascarar impostores, mas multiplicar os espelhos.

Cette thèse propose de suivre la lecture deleuzienne de Spinoza afin de montrer comment Deleuze inscrit sa philosophie de la différence dans l’histoire de la philosophie et de la métaphysique. Loin d’être condescendant envers l’histoire de cette discipline, Deleuze légitime sa conception bi-univoque de la différence à l’aide du parallélisme entre la Nature naturante et la Nature naturée de Spinoza. La différenciation de l’actuel (les modes, l’événement) se fait dans la différentiation du virtuel et c’est en procédant de la sorte que Deleuze participe de plain-pied à la tradition immanentiste de la philosophie où l’être se dit seulement de la différence qu’il exprime. Plus encore, cette thèse explique comment Deleuze reprend les principes de cette métaphysique immanentiste pour établir sa conception de la subjectivité. Là aussi, sa lecture de Spinoza est essentielle, car en affirmant la non-substantialisation de l’âme comme le fait Spinoza, Deleuze peut attaquer, à la racine, les fondements épistémologiques des philosophies du sujet de son époque (existentialisme et phénoménologie en tête). Pour Deleuze, cette conception modale de l’âme et de la subjectivité appuie, métaphysiquement parlant, une épistémologie fondée sur la passivité du sujet. Loin d’être le fondement de la vérité des idées, la conscience d’un moi dans l’âme est, pour Deleuze, un résultat synthétisé, jamais une fonction synthétisante. En ce sens, l’ultime réduction de la philosophie n’est plus l’ego cogito cartésien, mais consiste à reconnaître la fêlure du Je. Deleuze construit ainsi, en envisageant la place de l’imagination dans la puissance de connaître l’âme, une autre épistémologie que celle du sujet fondateur transcendantal ou transcendant. Pour lui, le constat est clair : comment pouvons-nous croire que nous sommes responsables de l’idée que nous formons de nous-mêmes (et s’établir sur celle-ci pour fonder, épistémologiquement, nos idées sur les choses) si nous ne savons même pas ce que peut notre corps, ni comment celui-ci peut affecter et être affecté par notre âme ? Ce principe de « l’inconnu du corps » relativise l’éminence de l’âme et inscrit Deleuze à la fois dans l’une des plus importantes batailles philosophiques de la Modernité (celle de Spinoza contre Descartes) et dans la crise de la subjectivité qui caractérise la pensée française au moment des années soixante. New ways of thinking are required in teacher education to promote beginning teachers as change agents in education. Twenty years after the Salamanca Statement (UNESCO, 1994) that called for schools to provide equitable opportunities for all children, teaching practices in many classrooms are informed by the deficit view of learning. Beginning teachers need to be prepared to challenge the ideological influences that operate in schools. Deleuze and Guattari’s (1987) model of the rhizome is used to report one beginning teacher’s journey as she learnt to negotiate structural and personal obstacles to create an inclusive learning environment. Data from reflective diaries, semi-structured interviews and classroom observations highlight contextual and personal factors in one case study that contributed to the nonlinear, complex process of becoming an inclusive educator. The paper concludes by arguing the voice of beginning teachers is essential for the ongoing movement towards the creation of just, inclusive schools.

Utilizing DNA samples from 91 Afrikaner nuclear families with one or more affected children, five genomic regions on chromosomes 2p, 8q, 11q, 20q, and 21q that gave evidence for association with GTS in previous case-control association studies were investigated for linkage and association with GTS. Highly polymorphic markers with mean heterozygosity of 0.77 were typed and resulting genotypes evaluated using single marker transmission disequilibrium (TDT), single marker haplotype relative risk (HRR), and multi-marker "extended" TDT and HRR methods. Single marker TDT analysis showed evidence for linkage or association, with p-values near 0.05, for markers D2S139, GATA28F12, and D11S1377 on chromosomes 2p11, 8q22 and 11q23-24, respectively. Extended, two-locus TDT and HRR analysis provided further evidence for linkage or association on chromosome 2 with p-values of 0.007 and 0.025, and chromosome 8 with p-values of 0.059 and 0.013, respectively. These results provide important additional evidence for the location of GTS susceptibility loci.

Este artículo analiza la imagen de la Ciudad de México configurada en la crónica mexicana a partir de los años setenta en especial en los textos de José Joaquín Blanco. Se detiene en el modo en que el género afronta la realidad de una megalópolis que ya solo puede ser asumida de modo fragmentario y múltiple. Entre la utopía y una visión apocalíptica de la ciudad, la crónica reconfigura el espacio y el tiempo urbanos, y formula una nueva identidad crítica gracias a la habilitación de espacios de expresión posibles dentro de las nuevas ciudades modificadas por el capital.

Gaze hierarchizes, manages and labels reality. Then, according to Foucault, gaze can be understood as a practice of power. This paper is inspired by his theories, and it applies them to one of the most powerful symbolic spheres of Western culture: Greek Myths. Notions such as visibility, invisibility and panopticism bring new light into the story of Perseus and Medusa, and they enable a re-reading of this Myth focused on the different ways of power that emerge from the gaze.
